I think it's a conspiracy...they made DB cook chickens in the video just so that we could use the 'catch a chicken' emoticon!

Yeah I think they should change the national anthem for all the American lonelycraker!!!

Maybe the tiny little chicken reference is Chicken Little?! Although more to do with animals than sports!

Then Rocky was the rooster from Chicken Run!!

Can't think of what Bad News Bears has to do with chickens though....
