Rusty, the last drop held an sd card the contains a password protected rar file. We are trying to open that file, but we don't know the password. Check the drop threads for a link to the file if you wish to download it. The link must be in one of the threads.

The numbers are voicemails, if you don't leave your number you won't get called so I don't leave mine I just listen and hang up

Oh..I called one of them before asking out of curiosity (sp?) lol..
And um it rang and rang and then I heard hello? and i chickened out because i wasnt sure if your supposed to call it or whatever so i hung up..>_>
are they creepy? lol.
&& by the way the one i called was tachyons phone lost at her "last job"
so yeah..

Sorry for the intrustion, but my lurker self has a question. I've seen on here that OP Aphid was orginaly fanbased then made cannon by the creators. This differs from how most of us understood the Creators orginal announcement that OP Aphid was cannon. Is there a post somewhere on this site where the creators said it was orignaly fan based, or did someone get a e-mail or something? Thanks for your time

This was a 100% fan created ARG. We liked it so much that we decided to contact the creator and make it the official LG15 ARG. We can't wait to see what other characters and storylines you guys come up with. Your creativity and passion is truly amazing. Thanks for watching.

Mvidrine, OpA has actually been around since early October, and many of the people on these forums (but not all, certainly!) have been around since then, playing the game as though it was a fan spin-off. As time progressed, it became increasingly clear that the OpA and LG15 were running in a suspiciously parallel way. Speculation grew that OpA was actually canon, and culminated with the Creators' announcement. So we know that OpA was a fan-based creation because we were playing it then.

And welcome! Jump right in!

Ok so...I read the whole "story so far thing" and I look through the aphidpedia. I then watched all of Op, Tachyons, Brothers, and most of Cassieiswatching. I've kept up with the whole OpAhid thing but there is one thing I just can't figure out.

What is the Cassie connection?

I don't get it. How is she involved? What is her importance? Should I care? Why is she in Ops videos and why does Bree mention her?\

Confusion.

I heard the theories that she's Brees schizo other half or something. But I just don't understand the whole Cassie thing. Someone help me.

Canon-cassie is just someone Bree claims she was friends with before she met Daniel. This character was "jacked" by Cassieiswatching who proceeded to develop the character's storyline, but it's not canon. Who cassie really is and if she has a part to play in the is purely forum-speculation.

That was just the way that Op got everyones attention, by drawing on the cassieiswatching crowd and basically stealing their thunder.

Hi there!

First of all, you have to make sure that you understand the two distinctions:

CanonCassie -- This is the Cassie Bree refences in her vids.

CiWCassie -- This Cassie was fan-created and very popular.

The Cassie you see in the Op vids is most likely the CiW version of Cassie. If you look closely, you will notice that most of the first OpAphid videos are actually 'video responses' to CiW.

This was how OpAphid gained notoriety -- she 'piggybacked' off the success of CiW and referenced her to get our attention. This is why the first several videos seem to be 'all about Cassie'. In fact, OpAphid even took credit for 'game-jacking' CiW and breaking into her Voice Mail. These references guaranteed that the CiW fans would all quickly become OpAphid fans.

Besides this very successful tactic, there have been several other references to CiW (the most recent being in Tachyon's latest vid where the infamous "I was here" can be heard in the audio). These connections are less clear and are still furiously debated in the forum.

I guess to summarize -- we still don't know the connection between CiWCassie and OpAphid. All we can do is speculate.

Lad wore a hat to the Pea Soup drop. He couldn't see the package becuase of said hat and we have "outlawed" them ever since.
