So Op sees this as all working towards a BIG massive goal. One goal.
It must be Bree, right?

maybe there are many actions that took place that justified the means....
the cameras
setting up gemma for death (i kind of feel like op set gemma up for brother to find right now)
and the murder of bree's dad...
hmm...
lots to think about, but it grows harder and harder to think about with so little answers.
well yes, but i also meant, as Gemma was discovered to be a associate to the order, then it comprimises OpAphid. If they capture Gemma, then Tachyon and Brother are closer the OpAphid. Who ultimately, i think they want.Danielle wrote:Killthesmiley wrote:true enough...

Gemma messed up, so Op made sure that she got messed up. It distracted Tachy and Brother from the bigger picture... thus the Nap quote.
She hung Gemma out to dry.
So, OpA obviously believes that they are now at war. This isn't the Order hunting some teenager on the run here, nor is it OpA dealing with an irritating, but ultimately ineffectual, spy. Something slipped in the last few weeks, or before that, and now OpA has been forced to acknowledge the enemy as powerful enough that war is necessary. Now, I obviously don't think that OpA is digging trenches or pulling out the Howizters somewhere (although come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't speak too soon...), but I think it's war all the same. And in war, the ends justify the means (a popular quote, but not attributed to any one person that I could find). Basically, OpA is ready to pull out all the stops in order to win.We succeed only as we identify in life, or in war, or in anything else, a single overriding objective and make all other considerations bend to that one objective.
We knew that before. I'm saying that this new video hasn't clarified any more to me what the "end" is that is justified by the means so far employed.bethy wrote:We know they wanted Sebastian dead...I don't think we know anything more about OpA's motives than before, except that they now see their existence as threatened enough to go to war over it.
