It takes about one and a half dozen regluar chicken eggs to equal one ostrich egg in terms of volume...

An ostrich egg is so massive that if you could crack it open to fry it up sunnyside up, the yolk would break from it's own mass.

If there's one thing I'm good for, it's food knowledge.
