If I am not mistaken, Youtube has the option to make a video accessible only to people listed as friends.

If you make a $5.00 donation (The amount is arbitrary) you get to see the friends version of the video a day or so before everyone else.

Other benefits could also be added.

Non donors would still be able to see all the videos, Just a day later. No harm done.

if this was a viable business model, which i doubt for the reasons stated above, i wonder whether youtube even allows people to do this. i recall hearing that paypal button on channels aren't allowed.

Milo, the friends only is exactly for that - friends only. Say you are worried about internet predators and you don't want some sicko seeing your child's first naked bathtub and ducky film - make it so friends only can view the video. It has nothing to do with a paypal button....that was the first poster's suggestion.
