I know that this is a general discussion board, but it's mainly for OpAphid related stuff.

Even if it is random, the carrot cake thread is based off of a raging arguement from the IRC chat, so technically it's "OpAphid") ... and while bubble tea *does* rule, I don't think The Order drinks it.

So, I'm gonna move this over to Off The Cuff. That way everyone from LG15 can discuss the joy of bubble tea! :)
well why did shiftys stay there then?

yea just because you guys are having a silly OT conversation in the chat, doesn't make it opaphid...
I've always wondered why the hell the carrot cake topic was in there...
doesn't make sense what so ever... (neither does your reasoning panda...i love you...but it doesn't make any sense)

No, I am just an omnipotent Floridian.

(I went to school there) I love Ru San....I think I got the king kong roll...or godzilla roll..something like that. None of these Floridian sushi makers understand the glory of flash frying things...or putting macadamia nuts on/in things. bastards.

It is very popular here in southern cali... but its mostly called "boba". There are many shops specializing in boba drinks around here.. a lot of the coffee shops have it and many asian food places.

I looooove it. Its refreshing :)

Does anyone know if you can get stuff to make it yourself? I've never had it, but I've been hearing about it for years. Is it one of those things you can't/ shouldn't really make yourself?
