The other day, Chartreuse posted a link to "Nobody tells lies." I decided to follow up on autumnriley to see what was up. Anyhow, here's some of what I've discovered from the text that accompanies the videos so far:

A couple of further comments:

"Dig deeper, always deeper, until you reach the elusive Sud."

This line has been bothering me a little. But take that with "Understand the pardes and unlock each and every clue."

I did some more digging and came up with a little more info from Wikipedia:

Pardes פרד"ס is also an acronym for the four types of biblical exegesis:

* pey: Pshat:
* dalet: Drash
* reish: Remez
* samech: Sod

Further:

"Sod" = "hidden;" an esoteric or mystical reading of the text.

So, I wonder if "the elusive Sud" shouldn't read "the elusive Sod." Further thoughts? Ideas? Discuss...

I posted a question on "D'rash and Ramez" asking The elusive Sud? Or the elusive Sod? autumnriley replied with "Either way. It's a matter of transliteration, not principle." This leads me to believe that "Understand the pardes and unlock each and every clue" refers to the acronym for the four types of biblical exegesis, the last of which is "samech," or Sod. From Wikipedia, here are all four:

* "Peshat" = "simple;" the plain meaning of the text in its immediate context, understanding each word in terms of its common usage. According to Shabbat 63a, a verse never loses its simple meaning.
* "Remez" = "hint;" generalizing the meaning of a verse, so that it functions metaphorically or allegorically.
* "Drash" = "conceptual;" a more detailed exposition or interpretation of the peshat or remez (often by juxtaposing different verses to elicit new meanings), often to make a moral point.
* "Sod" = "hidden;" an esoteric or mystical reading of the text.

Not sure what to make of it... At any rate, I'm keeping an eye on autumnriley. Seems to be a small piece of the puzzle, probably fanfic response to Sister. If I come up with any ideas, I'll post 'em here

Confirmation from within the GC arc that Riley is GC-Canon? Hmm.

I watched Tov V'Ra again, and she mentions that she, too, has a secret, and that it involves a nightmare she had. She says that she hasn't told anyone about it, at least not on the p'shat level.

Yes, I definitly think Riley is GC-canon now that we have confirmation from CredoWw. Sister has been saying that OpGrey isn't GC-canon, but I don't really understand that... was it just the email? Or did/is CredoWw trying to pose as OpGrey?

(Who here would like to see more Simon? She goes on and on about him, but he never posts anymore.)

If I had paid more attention, I wouldn't have needed clarification of Sud = Sod... Feeling a bit embarrassed for having asked

So, she hasn't told anyone on the simple level. And in D'rash and Ramez, she said "Dig deeper, always deeper, until you reach the elusive Sud." I'm sure she's told us her secret, but it's hidden.

Up until this point, I've ignored Sister and all the related stuff. Looks like I'm in it now, though I'll get caught up as quickly as I can and start digging.... Makes me miss CiW just a little less

There's a lot of GC references I picked up in this. The first two lines referred me back to Sister's "Bedtime story" video, which details the death of a Caroline.

The second two lines first mention a simple song... wasn't the last video about "row row row your boat"? I don't understand the part about the spirits.

Third section: "Heed this warning" set off all of my OpHead alarms. Is Riley connected with them? And then another row/boat reference, which just made me think of Jonas and that "Accomplice" video from today (response on the Bree's Dad video).

Fourth: CiW reference, blah blah, but didn't the Bedtime story video mention a Helena? And the master part... who is the master? Haven't figured that out yet.

Sister should be canon. Everything's so thought out.
