I agree. They didn't look forced, yet they didn't exactly look happy about leaving either. Um, I guess the word I'm looking for is obedient? Yes. That's exactly how they looked to me. Got kids?

Two. And getting them in car when they don't want to go anywhere takes threats of bodily harm.

maybe they were taken by force at first but I kind of feel that the order either brain washed them while they were in custudy or maybe bree's father was told he had to bring bree back or else. Like maybe they told them, "she's living in some random guys house and before that living off the streets, at least with us she'll have a home and an education" Bree's parents are all for that.
The Illuminati brainwash people from the time they are born by creating "alters" (i.e. MPD). They can bring out various alters by keywords/phrases or just make the person perform an act by speaking certain words/phrases.

Similar to the ideas in the Manchurian Candidate or Conspiracy Theory.
We shall nonetheless move forward to carve a name for ourselves in the annals of bold insurgency and death-defying derring-do. Once I have a keen blade at my hip and the Jolly Roger is flapping high above me, I believe I will find my true calling.

works for me! All of a sudden they say.."orange" and they're compliant lol
Shouldn't it be a quote from A Catcher in the Rye? Like "All morons hate it when you call them a moron."

They may not have looked forced but they are in a nice suburban neighborhood. Would you want your neighbors all up in your business if you came screaming out of your house and get the Order all mad at you. No.. I wouldnt either.
haha I said all up in your business.
OH! The thing out brainwashing and responding when a certain word is said is really neat. Think if when you were little your parents did that? Creepy.
Also!
Bree's parents might not be exactly against her. But just because the meeting might be a trap doesnt mean they are against her either. You saw how much control the Order had when taking her parents, they could easily make them set up a trap.
I get what you are saying. IMHO, they are just as duplicitous as everyone else involved in this quasi-religiony thing they are involved in. I don't think that they were taken against their will. I think that they went along with their superiors because they wanted to. I think they whole talking to the Deacons thing was just a front. I think that they want Bree to complete this ceremony and this whole thing has been an elaborate ruse to get her to do just that. They want her to feel as though she has to do it in order to insure their safety and this meeting with her father is just another way to dupe her into it. He got away but left his wife behind? I think not. We have been told time and time again that she is the emotionally and mentally strong one. Do we really think that the weaker of the two would be the one to leave? I don't. Not at all. I don't hink he would have the emotional cojones to do that. I think that she made him leave in order to convince Bree to do the ceremony. It is easier to be swayed if you think a woman is still in the clutches of some evil order. If you think that your father, who may be able to hold his own physically, abainst others is there, you will work your butt off to find a way to save him. But a physically weaker woman you would bend over backwards to save.
