And I'm not sure there's anything to see, really. It's a hotel. If it were a drop, we'd get more inofrmation about it, wouldn't we?

I don't mean it as a drop...but I'd hit up the hotel just to look around. I don't think the staff would kick you out for that

I was re-watching the video.
it actually doesn't show the escaltor in the hotel, jsut to clear things up. The stairs that we thought that was an escaltor with the marble-esque floor in the hotel, is just stairs. Not an escaltor.

the escaltor could be somewheres else...airport maybe?
Not being from the LA area is the LAX Hilton actually near the airport/part of the airport. I know the hotel associated with our airport is near the airport, but not on the same property.

Yes, there are both stairs and an escalator...just not sure why escalators would be shown. They could be at the airport, I guess...there are some public escalators over there.

As far as the hotel goes, it's not afilliated with the airport per se, and not attached to it....but it *is* right across the street from the airport, on Century Blvd, probably about a 1/3 of a mile from the main gates or so. It's complete hell getting there sometimes.

I suppose the proper name for the airport is Hilton Los Angeles Airport, not LAX Hilton, but it's all the same. Everyone I know refers to it as the LAX Hilton because it identifies the specific airport. There are lots of airports in LA.

just for information...are there anywheres within 1 or two buildings rang of the hotel with escalators do you think?

Hmmm, possibly. See, the Hilton is to the east of the terminals along Century Blvd. There are a LOT of hotels along that street...a LOT. I've been to the Hilton, The Crowne Plaza and the Radisson in that area...no escalators that I can recall, but then I don't exactly remember needing to remember that kind of information.

There ARE escalators at the airport, of course.

if there isn't any escaltors in the area but in the airport, that would be the reasonable assumptiion...hmmm...

THe escalator is out of place, and it's making me curious. Its there for a reason.

That's what's tripping me up, too...the escalator.

Tachyon could have flown down from northern CA, I suppose. But that's kind of a dumb airport to use for such a short flight. I guess we assumed Tachy was already in the LA area because she was following Gemma.

Okay, I just asked my boss about the escalators...and she said there ARE escalators at the hotel. She's there once a month for meetings, so she's knows the hotel quite well.

I guess that solves that, then. I don't recal seeing any, but like I said, I didn't really pay attention and I've really only been in parts of the lobby.
