Possible FBI/government agency involvement?

OK continuing from my 'Watchers' thread and tying in with another thread suggesting 'three sides', I wondered perhaps if there is a third party in all these Order/OpAphid shenanigans?

It's not unreasonable to suggest that an organisation as large and pervasive as 'The Order' would attract the interest/attention of a federal agency such as the FBI. Is it possible that OpAphid, Tachyon, Lucy, Watchers....someone?! are undercover agents using subversion and covert tactics to infiltrate and gather intelligence on 'The Order' (either throught the organisation or encouraging members to defect - where are Bree's parents for example?)

Tachyon *is* undercover.

The agency hasn't been specified, but we've been hinted towards it being The Culper Ring, a secret US agency from the Revolutionary War (as to whether or not they currently exist, that's the stuff of urban legend).

Tachyon went undercover in The Order to learn more about OpAphid, but she has them chasing her now for information she stole.

There was also a small amount of talk about the British "Secret Intelligence Service" a while back, although it didn't gain much traction.

Okay....I have been watching bree since her first video came out. I've tried watching the Opaphid and Tachyon videos but I don't have the time really to get into the whole game thing...are they a crucial part of this story or just an added bonus?

I would consider them an added bonus. I gave up on actually trying to play the game, but the videos are pretty interesting to watch. Also, if you watch Op, you would have seen her ransacking Bree and Daniel's room...and Tach you'd see her spying on Gemma before Jonas showed the footage. So, I guess you find out either way, but the tach/ops thing is a nice add on.

Lately I think Tach and Op have become a major part of the story. Whether that continues is up in the air, but at present, I think they're as important as the main story.

It seems that the creators are tying Tach and Op in more...and how could they not? If the story was getting ready to wrap up, they would need to pull everything together and tie it in for one big storyline.
