I think her picking a screenname for the chat sort of proves she isn't ever going to be canon. All the other characters just use their preexisting screennames. I know that she probably wants to use a diff. name so that whoever she thinks is watching her doesn't know she's chatting, but.... eh. It just seems a little too far off the mark from the other characters.
(Also, the fact that there was a dream sequence sort of tells me it's not going to be canon too...)

She wants to meet on the Winter Solstice, which is funny because if she's stuck in the order's baracks somewhere....how will she escape to a chat room? Don't they all party hearty on the Winter Solstice? We know Bree and her family went to an Equinox party back in September, and one of Tachyon's videos from when she was still inside the order referenced Equinox.
Shouldn't Cassie be out pretending she's having a great Solstice time?
