What's a good camera?

Okay, so I know meta-discussion to mean off-topic discussion. But if this is out of place, please feel free to smack me on the hand and delete this thread.

"All I want for christmas is a camera"

I was looking at some Aiptek ones but the reviews were all over the board so I had no idea whom to believe. My question to y'all is:

What camera do you use/want?

Uh, for that price I'd go with a Canon or HP.
I work at Staples, and those brands actually honor their service plans, etc.

I have an aiptek. I love it. It has a built in mp3 player. lol. I have only had it for a few weeks, but so far it does the job. ^_^
