Personally, it reminds me of those choose your own adventure books I read as a kid, which i loved. I'm gonna keep an eye on it.

I think that (okay, i HOPE that), the creators are possibly going to give us a few girls to chose from, as to whom we want the story to go forward with. As in, "is this the girl?" "No! We hate her! We don't want this to be the girl!" "Oh, no, okay, that's NOT the girl. How about this ...

I think, as far as a new direction is concerned, we need to be willing to learn from successful ARG's. The first step is for anyone who really wants to participate in the continuation of OA to start with simple, but very interesting reading.
