The movie usher works at the theater where Gavin, Charlie, Tariq, and Kate went to see Disturbia. She prevented Gavin from entering the movie because he had a video camera. She cited "strict company policy" for her decision not to let Gavin enter, which is not suprising, because Gavin had previously walked by a sign stating the "No Recording Devices" policy of the theater.
