Bree claims in the video Survival Skills that her community used to use the acronym "OPAPHID" as a guideline for dealing with outsiders. It is very likely that there is a connection with the OpAphid video series.

Gemma explained in An Awkward Silence that OPAPHID stands for "acknowledge position and help initiate dialog". She did not say what the first two letters stood for.
