I really do appreciate it. You know, I remember the first time that you came to the attic, and you brought your cat, and I was so mad because I had to leave my cat behind. And I thought: "There's no way I'm ever, ever going to be friends with that horrible, horrible boy." But I was wrong. You're actually really sweet, and it really means a lot to me that you're trying so hard to cheer me up. But you have to understand, I had a chance to end it, and I screwed it up.
