Motel Tryst is the twenty-seventh blog in the LG15: The Resistance blog series.

Transcript

(Jonas is in a hotel room.)

Jonas: We are heading out to Boston. Hopefully that info we got is legit and not another trap.

(Reed heads out the door.)

Sarah: Ladies first.

(All three walk around outside.)

Reed: I've got a friend in Pittsburgh. That's like halfway there.

Jonas: Listen- I don't think we should endanger anyone else's life.

Sarah: And if I have to take one more shower using a little bottle of hand soap trying to be passed off as shampoo I am going to endanger you.

Reed: I'll give her a call on the road.

Sarah: Her?

Reed: Yeah, she's like an ex-girlfriend.

Sarah: Oh...

Jonas: Alright. Come on. Let's keep movin'.

(Jonas turns the corner but sees agents from the FBI in the parking lot and ducks in a panic.)

Jonas: Go. Go. Get down.

Reed: Uh...Jonas?

Sarah: Jonas- I told you not to use your I.D. to rent that car.

Jonas: What the hell I.D. was I supposed to use, Sarah?

(Reed runs toward the agents to create a distraction.)

Reed: Hey! Are you guys with the FBI?

FBI Agents: Yeah, yeah.

Reed: Do you guys know an Agent Mulder? Or, like, Scully?

FBI Agents: Get lost, buddy. Get lost.

Reed: Hey, can I take a picture?

(The agents protest at this.)

Reed: I just want to take a picture of the jackets. No, no, please. Turn around.

(Sarah and Jonas begin to run toward their car while Reed is distracting the agents.)

Reed: Listen, it's for a project. I'm doing a project on government.

FBI Agents: Get lost. No.

Reed: I'll get in the picture with you, okay? Appreciate it.

FBI Agents: Get lost; this is a federal offense!

Reed: Sorry. Buh-Bye Bye.

(Reed runs back to the car that Sarah and Jonas are now in. Jonas turns around to look at Reed.)

Jonas: Ready? Nice work, man.

(Reed gleefully giggles.)
