I feel so close to the people that I love now, I mean...even though my parents weren't there, I definitely felt their presence. Lucy was incredible. She stood beside me the entire time and held my hand. I got to meet many of the elders. I've been told that it's a great honor just to be in their presence. Now I understand why. I didn't slip up once, I remembered all of the steps that Lucy and I had worked on. I remembered my Enochian symbols, all of them. So...that was cool. It was pretty amazing studying all of these things for months and then seeing them all used in one night, the language, the steps, the discipline. There was an incantation given at the end of the ceremony that was in Enochian, and I actually understood most of it. So... I guess I'm kind of sad now because...it's over. I won't be seeing Lucy anymore. She's being sent somewhere else, but I made a promise to keep in touch. One thing that I was told after the ceremony is that now I'm in a place of much greater responsibility. It's gonna be more important than ever to stay disciplined. I don't think that's going to be a problem though, 'cause I feel like a completely new person.

She would study at the British Museum and sometimes go and see plays. One of the boys was saying that because the two characters die in the end of Hamlet that nothing they do matters. That was my dad. My mom listened for a few minutes and decided that pretty much everything my dad was saying was wrong. So she thought it was time to open up a good-ol’ fashioned can of whoop—

So she tapped him on the shoulder and she said that the message of the play was that these sad little characters had spent their lives arguing about the inevitability of their fate instead of actually doing something about it. And she said that if these boys didn’t watch out, they would be just like them.

My dad was smitten… like a kitten. So when the play ended he was waiting for her by the exit. Sparks flew… doves cried… the sun set… the wind blew… oh my gosh.

They spent the rest of the day together and later my dad walked her to her train. They couldn’t see each other very often because my mom was in Edinburgh. So they started writing letters. And that’s about it. I have a really big day, so I should probably go get ready. I hope you enjoyed the story…

Semiotics is the study of signs and symbols, both individually and grouped in sign systems. It includes the study of how meaning is constructed and understood. It can represent a methodology for the analysis of texts regardless of modality, which is the particular way in which the information is to be encoded for presentation to humans. For these purposes, "text" is any message preserved in a form whose existence is independent of both sender and receiver. Naming the file "semiotics" could signify that the password to the file already exists in what Tachyon sent Daniel. In this way, Daniel and Tachyon need know nothing about each other to be able to communicate what the password is.

When Daniel read the note aloud in [[Jonas Sucks]] he mentioned that it was a haiku. A haiku is a short poem consisting of three lines. It must have five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line, and five in the third. As you already know Daniel came to my summer camp play last night and I was really really really really really really really really really ''(cut to Bree looking into frame from the right side)'' really really really really really ''(cut to Bree jumping up and down in circles)'' really really really really really really really really ''(cut to Bree on her bed with her blanket wrapped around her)'' really really really really ''(cut to Bree back at desk)'' really excited. The whole night I was trying not to look at anyone in the crowd because I thought it would throw me off. Then, towards the end I hadn't flubbed a single line and I got to this part where my character was having an argument with her teacher and just to the right of this head about six rows back, I saw Daniel smiling at me and I completely forgot my line. It's probably the nicest thing that anybody's ever done for me. Including my parents. Anyway, after the play, I had stay and change out of my costume and talk to my parents' friends and stuff, and Daniel waited for me for a whole hour. It was really nice. And then we went and got milkshakes. So, I guess that's kind of it for our, our little feud. Uhh, we've already made plans to go on a hiking trip this weekend and I'm really really excited about that. I'm not really sure where we're going yet, but I'm sure it'll be fun, so. Bye!

Much later in the official storyline, it has been implied that cassieiswatching's videos are indeed made by [[Bree]]'s friend [[Cassie]], but rather than a supernatural origin, they are an elaborate prank pulled by a mischievious girl. This move for closure however brings up questions of its own.

In the Revelation 3 video there can clearly be seen the hands of a man fixing a lure. This bears the question that if these videos were done by a young girl, where did these hands come from? It could be some kind of stock footage or Cassie may have had someone working with her. One interesting thing is that the lure being fixed is an aphid. This could be a random foreboding of things to come or it could indicate foreknowledge of that which is shortly to occur.

[[Cassieiswatching]] posted her first video on September 12, 2006. The creation of cassieiswatching appears to be inspired by two events:

(1) The [[lonelygirl15]] video [[Swimming!]] dated August 29, 2006 contains three scenes in which the characters refer to a girl named Cassie. In the video, [[Bree]] asks [Daniel]] about the fate of a girl she knew from high school. [[Daniel]] says he doesn't remember this girl. [[Bree]] unsuccessfully tries to spark his memory, and then says she used to walk the track with her and that other kids were mean to [[Cassie]]. The last scene contained a somber tone that contrasts with the rest of the video, which was lighthearted and intimate.

(2) The unveiling of [[lonelygirl15]] as an interactive multimedia production [http://lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36] and not a real video blog on September 7, 2006. The YouTube page for the first cassieiswatching video, [[This Is My Story Now]], contains the tags "[[bree]]" "tells" "lies" in reference to the news that [[lonelygirl15]] is not real. The video ends with a voice saying "come and get it," commonly interpreted as an invitation to [[lonelygirl15]] viewers to participate in an [[ARG]] (Alternate Reality Game).

The game has leveraged the use of multimedia and interactive content to generate clues for the participants. Clues have been discovered in two videos, an altered [Bible] page, a voicemail message and several puzzles using morse code and anagrams.

[[Bree]] is perceived as an imaginative but socially immature girl, and [[Daniel]] is a practical and introverted guy. The dialog between them suggests a mystery about [[Cassie]]. [[Daniel]], an intelligent and observant individual, should be able to remember a classmate (especially since they live in a small town). [[Daniel]] could be lying, which would alter the interpretation of the mystery, but there is no reason to believe he is withholding information from [[Bree]]. This has caused two lines of speculation: (1) [[Cassie]] disappeared due to foul play, possibly related to a cult (as many victims of cults are loners seeking acceptance from others), or (2) [[Bree]] has a split personality and [[Cassie]] is the other half.

In the '''[[My Helper]]''' video, [[Bree]] says the following:

This video may have impacted the cassieiswatching game development. The game intially left open the possibility that [[Cassie]] was a victim of a sacrifice related to [[Bree]]'s occult religion, but this video has all but eliminated that theory as plausible.

In '''[[Bree Phone Home]]''' it may have been [[the creators]]' way of giving [[LG15]] viewers closure on who or what cassieiswatching was. Bree explains that while they were friends, [[Cassie]] was prone to doing pranks like prank-calling strangers and whispering creepy things like "I'm watching!"(one of cassieiswatching's trademark phrases). The two of them got in trouble for the prank calls when some of the angry victims of the pranks called [[Bree]]'s house using caller ID. [[Bree]] ended up taking the blame when when her furious mom confronted her about them. After that, [[Bree]] stopped really talking to [[Cassie]]. It is worth noting that in this version of Cassie, she is described as girl who liked to pull creepy pranks. Coupled with the mention of her use of cassieiswatching's catchphrase, it's not a stretch to suppose that the official explanation for cassieiswatching is that it is another creepy prank from [[Bree]]'s old friend [[Cassie]].

There are many that believe that [[Frank]] is not really dead. The pair of pips resembles a pair of eyes, which is appended to the term 'snake' because of the long-standing association of this word with treachery and betrayal. In modern parlance, it refers to such a roll in any game involving dice. Because this is the lowest possible roll, and will often be a loser in many dice games, the term has been employed in a more general usage as a reference to bad luck.

This video shows [[Daniel]] discovering the cameras that [[OpAphid]] was using to watch over him. Daniel later recounted that he had "freaked out" and [[Undisclosed Location|left his house]].

Fans associated Daniel's snake eye shirt with the premonition that his luck was running out. This connection appears to have been solidified by his wearing the notorious shirt in the video [[Miss Me?]], which was filmed and released after he was kidnapped and brainwashed by [[OpAphid]]. Just as you can hardly get a worse dice roll than two ones, Daniel's bad luck was clearly at its peak when he was held by OpAphid.

LG15 to a large degree is supposed to be about promoting fanfic storylines. What I have found most often promoted is abuse. As any other tools for creating and maintaining a storyline are lacking, I find that the LGpedia is a good medium through which to try and convey the story and provide any external data in one place. I know for myself personally I have a LOT of work to do to bring in quite a few external links from a few places that they have been posted and get it organized so people can go through it and say OHHH!...that is where that came from. I don't have enough fans that remember or understand where all this stuff is posted. IF I don't self edit/self promote nobody will ever understand what the heck was really trying to be conveyed. Nobody can actually do it for me. I realize that a Pedia is supposed to be an encyclopedic tome and not a storybook but considering we have no other good alternatives, I have decided its my best shot to get my data organized and things told in a coherent fashion, especially since it's got MOST of the externals to my story right there for me to link to. My intention is to get it up to what I consider full speed and then..let it go. It boils down to this..most people are lazy and just wanna watch..until I made the page for myself it didn't exist..even to say "You suck more than Hoover." Generally, right now I am riding rough shod over it trying to get it to a certain point. If had been doing it all along..I might not have had to do it mostly myself...but.. it's at a point now.. Nobody else can do it. I'll more than likely get in some revert wars in the next few weeks..but it's something I need to do to keep my thoughts organized until the true framework is there..then..I'll let things roll from there. That's not saying I am gonna revert any changes or additions..even negative ones..it just depends on how it disrupts where I am trying to get the page to. Actually, I am sure it was MsKelly that added the info about my HSAO video and that was welcome and I added to that..the..umm negative part..haha.
As a matter of fact..I think I am the person responsible for much of the talk here today.
I was in the revert war. I moved myself and some others that I thought belonged on the front page with the other fanfiction. The actual war that was brewing was over the order the names were in. My position was Alphabetize...their's was to put my link last. I am kind of middle of the alphabet so honestly that's actually less likely to be noticed than first or last. It was a pretty nonsensical move on their part if you ask me and some others agreed. That point is moot now since the front page is redesigned and I really like it for the most part. Now for the other matter...Iris's issue and self promotion/self editing.

It got a little bit more personal. I don't want to get all Dr. Jonas over here, but...I'm an idiot for thinking I could drink my problems away. My parents and their whole hands-off thing. I guess they were pretty mellow as far as drunks go. The bad times are when one of them would stop. It's like, one of them would get better and...I'd f-...I'd finally have a parent, you know. But then, you know, that's when all the arguing would start, you know, it sucked. It's like they were both self-medicating. Unless they were numb, life was just...too much to deal with. Given our situation, I can kinda understand why a person would find that preferable. They've actually been sober, now for...last two years. They tried the whole amends thing...but...with my evasive maneuvers being on auto-pilot...I uh...I didn't want to hear about it. I didn't--I just didn't want any part of it. It's kind of uh, kind of hard now, trying to stay mad at them. You know, I'm not gonna be careless like my parents were. It's not about covering my own ass, it's...it's about watching out for one another. So, yeah, I'm not sure if it's safe here anymore. Talkin' about all this stuff, it's just...it's just giving me a headache. Jonas, you're a bad influence, man.
