While I do think this page could potentially have a future on LGPedia, I'm not sure its current incarnation is the best one with which to go forward. Simply listing all of the videos this happens in is tiresome and does not give any real insight into the actual use of sex in lonelygirl15. Instead, I think we would be better served having a summary page overviewing the ways in which sex is used and listing some videos with key examples. Would somebody be willing to refocus this page so that it can better address this idea? (Or, do people have other ideas about how the page should look? Please feel free to comment with your thoughts!) ==Revenue Model==
Revver is one of the first video-sharing websites to monetize user-generated content through advertising. Revver's system is often compared to Google's Adwords, but for video rather than websites.

The key technology behind Revver is the '''RevTag''', a tracking tag that is attached to videos that users upload. The RevTag automatically displays a static, clickable advert at the end of each video. When viewers click on it, the advertiser is charged and the advertising fee is split between the video creator and Revver.

RevTags are trackable across the web so users are encouraged to share Revver videos as widely as possible. Since the RevTag is part of the video file itself (thanks to the interactivity made possible by Flash-based video players and by the QuickTime format), the technology works no matter where the video file is hosted or displayed, be it at Revver.com, at another website, or in a user's hard drive or portable video player. Therefore Revver's monetization of the video is not hampered by the downloading or sharing of the video file by users.

The only circumstance where the RevTag can fail to load an ad, or to register an ad click, is if the device playing the video is not connected to the internet, in which case a default "Brought to you by Revver" message is shown at the end. Of course, if the video file is transcoded into a different format (such as by uploading it to YouTube or Google Video, or by running it through a program that changes the format of the video file, e.g. into MPEG or RealPlayer), then the RevTag would almost certainly be lost.

The Revver website provides tools for sharing including RSS, podcasting, and embeddable FLV or QuickTime players. This minimizes any added benefits of transcoding. Revver thus makes it easy for creators and fans to embed the video anywhere while still in its original RevTagged version.

Users are further encouraged to share by Revver's affiliate program. An Affiliate is a user who helps to promote their favorite videos (or any videos they believe will become popular), be it through email, sneakernet, peer-to-peer sharing, or posting on their own website or on social-networking webpages. Revver affiliates earn 20% of ad revenue for sharing videos. The remaining revenue for each video is split 50/50 between the video creator and Revver. This is possible because the RevTag in a video file that is promoted by an affiliate contains information not only about the video being played but also about the affiliate.

Creators are able to restrict what kinds of advertisements may be placed at the end of their videos. Similarly, advertisers may choose to request that their ads be shown in videos of certain categories (such as videos that are most popular on certain websites), thus allowing them to better target their desired demographics.

One of the complaints about Revver is viewer privacy − in order to download the ad, the video file must contact the Revver servers with information about the video (at least the category, possibly the video ID). This conflicts with viewers' privacy expectations when they're playing the video from a source that's not normally tracked (such as their own hard disks).

Emma couldn’t believe that Sarah is completely on the side of the Order, and she insisted that Sarah couldn’t be as evil as she seems to be. She then asked about Taylor, saying that she is the key. Once the girls have been selected for the Ceremony, they must go on a [[Bree's diet|special diet]] and receive [[Bree's injections|injections]]. To our knowledge, the Ceremony ultimately represents an [[Lonelygirl15 Season Finale 10 of 12 – 5 pm|early end]] to [[Enter The Order|these girls' lives]].

Many people, such as [[Watcher]]s and [[Spreading the Song|various other members]] of the [[Hymn of One]], believe that it is their duty to protect these girls from the time they are born until the time they complete the Ceremony, and as such, the girls are very closely monitored for most of their lives.

[[Dr. Calvin Hart]] was part of a [[Hart Study|study]] that was devoted to trying to recreate the high-ribozyme blood in at least twenty girls. The exact makings of the serum are not clear; the only clue we have is [[The Serum|"zinc oxide"]]. From what Emma says in [[Decision Time]] and [[I Like Being Me]], we know that this serum can be taken in more than one shot. In contrast, [[Charlie]] confirms in [[Creepy]] that after injecting [[Kate]] only once with the serum, Kate had become trait negative.

Her posts and videos were about her fascination with foreign languages, her [[Piglet|cat]], and typical teen problems with her parents and her [[Cameron|little sister]]. There were echoes of Bree's videos from the first, such as complaining about feeling trapped in a strict, dull lifestyle dictated by her parents, and the fact that she was learning a language "you're probably not even familiar with." ([[Enochian]]?)

At that time, there were several possible "New Girls," including [[Taylor]], whose first video appeared the same week as Jules's. But on April 16th, 2007, in the video [[The Ceremony Girl?! - NBR Investigates]], [[Nikki Bower]] singled Jules out as the possible replacement for [[Bree]] in the [[The Ceremony|Ceremony]]. Bree, at this time in hiding with [[Daniel]] and [[Jonas]] in [[the bunker]], took notice of this information in [[New Girl]], posted on April 17th, 2007, and said, referring to Jules, "I'm not gonna let the Order do to her what they tried to do to me." Bree's focus on Jules continued over her next two videos, [[Sloppy Drunk]] and [[Blog Girl]] (both made in the bunker), in which she analyzed the information in Jules's continuing series of YouTube videos and MySpace blog posts, described her attempts to contact Jules, and asked for help from fans on the forum. Her growing desire to rescue Jules and prevent her from doing the Ceremony is evident throughout these videos.

On April 25th, 2007, Taylor posted a video, [[I Recognize Her!]], referring to Jules as "Julie," and saying that she thought she recognized her as a girl who had played on a rival soccer team in her area the previous year. Bree took notice of this information on April 26th, 2007 in [[A Solid Lead]], which turned out to be the last video from the bunker. On April 29th, 2007, Bree posted [[OUT OF THE BUNKER!!!]] and revealed that she, Daniel, and Jonas were on their way to [[Zavalla]] (referred to as "a teeny-eensy-weensy little town" in Texas) to meet Taylor, try to find Jules, and talk to her, although Bree had enough foresight to recognize and state that "this could be a trap."

Upon arriving in Zavalla, the three had a startling meeting with Taylor's sister [[Sarah]] in [[Crazy Emo Chick]] (May 1st, 2007), in which Sarah, in her first LG15 appearance, briefly took Daniel hostage by sticking her lipstick in his back and pretending that it was a gun. All five of them searched for Jules in the May 2nd, 2007 video [[No Trespassing]], in which Taylor appeared as canon for the first time, and her astounding computer skills were revealed. On May 4th, 2007 [[We Found Julia!!!]] was posted, which showed Bree accosting Jules on her way home and attempting to talk to her; however, Jules pushed Bree away and ran off. This was Jules's first physical appearance in an LG15 video as a canon character.

===Capture and Rescue===

In [[It's Not Kidnapping]] on May 7th, 2007 the plot took a surprising turn, as [[TAAG|BDJ]] kidnapped Jules. Although Bree had seemed increasingly anxious to convince Jules not to do the Ceremony, this video revealed that she was willing to rationalize violence and illegal acts to do so. [[Naïve Girl]] (May 8th, 2007) showed Jules's defiance and Bree's uncertainty as to whether she had done the right thing. BDJ were shown reacting to Jules's escape in [[She's Missing]] on May 9, and her recapture was referred to in Jonas's video [[Aiding and Abetting]] on May 10th, 2007. Jonas, throughout the kidnapping episode, was clearly and vocally opposed to this course of action, and concerned about Jules' well-being, while Daniel was also worried, but committed to supporting Bree's efforts.

On May 11th, 2007, [[What the F*@k???]] was posted, in which BDJ and Jules were found by the Order. Their car was forced to the side of the road and Jules, then Bree, got out of the car. Bree walked over to where Jules was standing with [[Lucy]] and a [[Watcher]], spoke briefly to Lucy, and then got in the car with the three of them and drove off, leaving Daniel and Jonas frantic and bewildered. They stayed in Zavalla another week and were shown stealing Jules's medical records, with Sarah and (especially) Taylor's help, on May 18th, 2007 in the video [[Let's Play Doctor]]. These records indicated that Jules was [[trait positive|trait negative]], which confirmed that she could not have been a candidate for the Ceremony. Daniel and Jonas left Zavalla the next day and returned to [[Jonas's house]].

Jules's videos and blog posts ended at the time she was kidnapped, and she has not been seen as an active character again. However, she did log into MySpace briefly in October to change her profile picture. It was later revealed that Jules was planted online by [[Taylor and Sarah's parents|Taylor and Sarah's father]], so that Taylor would recognize Jules and contact Bree, allowing The Order to sway Bree into coming with them, while keeping Jules safe.
