I am not sure how to handle this, but "Help," which redirects here, is now a tag in [[Intervention]]. Do I make a disambig page? Or er, cancel out the redirect? (Although, I think having help redirect here is smart...) or um, just add the Tag template to the bottom of this page? Yeah, as I said, I wasn't sure how to handle this, so advice would be appriciated. Thanks. --[[User:Zoey|Zoey]] 16:59, 2 May 2007 (CDT)
:You ''could'' used [[Template:One other use]] - using [[Help]], creating a standard tag-page on it, and putting <nowiki>{{One other use||LGPedia's help pages|Help:Contents}}</nowiki> at the top of the page.
:...but I'm not sure how responsible it is to de-link a mnemonic help-link for a one-off tag...
:Possibly a better solution would be to edit this page, and put
:''"Help" redirects here. For the tag used in the episode [[Intervention]], see Help (tag).''
:- then create a standard tag page at Help (tag).
::~ [[User:Renegade|Renegade]] ([[User talk:Renegade|talk]] | [[Special:Contributions/Renegade|contribs]]) 20:21, 2 May 2007 (CDT)

::I'm not sure if I understand why it would be bad to have a one other use template? Because if I make help (tag), every time the tag was used (it has been a few times I learned) someone would have to KNOW to redirect it to the (tag) page. So yeah, wouldn't the one other use thing be the best option? Or.. am I wrong? Not 100% sure about how the templates work really... and hey, that's why I asked :)--[[User:Zoey|Zoey]] 00:28, 3 May 2007 (CDT)

:::The point is, the "one other use" template would (logically, at least) have to go on [[Help]], and then say there is one other use for "Help", that being the LGPedia-help at Help:Contents.
:::That is entirely correct. What's problematic about it is that "Help", right now, works instictively: You are on LGPedia, need help, and just go to [[Help]] and everything is fine. If you de-link that by turning [[Help]] into a page about the tag "Help", the already-confused user will be even more confused when the page "Help" does not actually provide help, but talks about some weird tag.
:::On the other hand, putting One Other Use ''here'' isn't actually correct, 'cause this page ''isn't'' "Help" - it's Help:Contents. Hence my suggestion above - the text acknowledges that "Help" redirects to "Help:Contents", informing someone looking for the tag where to go to find it, while at the same time keeping the Help-link intact.
:::Just to make sure you understand me correctly: I see your point, and you are technically correct. But it boild down to a question of usability: The drawback of having to link each instance of the tag "Help" to "Help (tag)" is smaller than the drawback of having to inform ''every single user'' that the page "Help" is not actually the help-page.
==Copyright issues?==
Does this wiki have permission to use images without a copyright notice, or are all images {{wikipedia|GFDL}}? If so, how come they are not marked as such? Also, what about sourcing of images? I know most come from the videos, but I noticed images of people "behind the scenes", so to speak, here with no "image rational", no source and no copyright information. Also, there are publicity photos, like the one of Jennifer (Bree), that I would think the photographer would perhaps want to be credited on the image page. I know when I wanted to copy a professional image of my own brother at Kinko's they balked a LOT, even though that photo was of my very own brother and I wanted it for personal use, all because the photo was obviously professionally done, and had the name of the photographer on the back as a clear give-a-way lol (the images was used as an ad in a magazine for sunglasses, BTW.) I'm just wondering, and a bit concerned because I know from working at Wikipedia there are strict copyright policies. Just asking as I see at the bottom of '''this''' page it says to "'''NOT SUBMIT COPYRIGHTED WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION'''". :) TIA.
:First of all, that bold message is a default message in all MediaWiki releases, so while I'm not saying it's void, you should be aware that it was not consciously set by the administration. Secondly, of course we're ''not'' mandating free licenses for all images, because you are missing a very important difference between us and wikipedia - we are not an independent source of information. We are the official encyclopedia of lonelygirl15, hosted on the same server, maintained by the same people. Wikipedia has to be strict with copyrights because in most cases, it simply doesn't have permission by default. In our case, it's the other way round - in most cases, we ''do'' have permission by default. All promo-shots, video screencaps, etc., etc., are copyright-wise owned by the same people that "own" LGPedia. Permission to use is implicitly, and in many cases explicitly, given. And if they really wouldn't want us to use a certain image, they control both the admin account as well as the server's filesystem - they could stop us easily at any given time.
:Now of course I am aware there are some shots on this wiki that have not been taken by this production crew or on their order, but the large majority of them is unused - uploaded for some reason by random users in the past, long replaced by images we're definitely allowed to use. The only exception seem to be the actor pages, and thanks to more and more promotional material being released by the crew, this will soon be a thing of the past as well. In addition, you should ponder one thing: Would Kinko's have balked if your ''brother'' had tried to have that image copied? Don't get me wrong, I don't need a lecture in image ownership rights, but using a professional image of Yousef Abu-Taleb on the official encyclopedia of the show Mr. Abu-Taleb is working on is less of an issue than an independent encyclopedia just randomly taking it. After all, we're not abusing the image in any way - we're using his promotional material to promote his current role. That is a very different thing.
:Lastly, the problem of credits. Yes, we lack them. That is undeniable. But I think the reason for that is mainly the same as before - in 90% of cases, the ownership is clear - lg15.com incorporated, or however the official name may be. Be it that they're screencaps, that they're promo shots, in the end, they're lg15's images on lg15's server, in recent cases often from lg15's flickr. There's just no attribution necessary, due to the simple fact that we've not moved anything away. We're not presenting material somewhere else in a weird corner of the web, we're using the company's material on its very own server.
:In fact, in many cases, it would be dangerously wrong to just attribute an image to a photographer - it may have been originally done by Kevin Schlanser (in most cases), but after it's been cropped and photoshopped for portal images, for example, we can't just claim it was done by Mr. Schlanser - that would be a false attribution, and could lead to defamation lawsuits (if Mr. Schlanser doesn't like the end product).
:As for the 10% that are of unknown source, the problem is exactly that - we can't credit what we don't know. It is unfortunate these images are here, and, in the few cases where they're still in use, unfortunate we couldn't replace them yet, but in the end, it boils down to three basic truths:
:#We simply don't know who took them or where they're from. So we can't credit anyone.
:#They are mostly unused anyway - no photographer can claim we're promotionally using his works when they're just lying dormantly on the server - we're no different from Google Images in that regard.
:#As said before, we're only "half evil", so to speak. A random professional shot of Mr. Abu-Taleb on Wikipedia would violate both the photographer's as well as Mr. Abu-Taleb's rights - a random professional shot of him here only violates the photographer's rights, if anyone's at all. Simply because Mr. Abu-Taleb's likeness is used for promotion of the show and all over this encyclopedia anyway, as part of his contract. In addition, it is more than possible that several of the shots used are actually true promotional material of the actors, meant for public usage to represent them. In that case, it'd be more or less just impolite not to credit the photographer.
:So, to come to a conclusion: The statement at the bottom of the editing page is essentially correct - you should not submit copyrighted works without permissions. ''But''. Given that we're an official part of the lg15.com production group, we ''do'' have permission to use any material released by them by default, and no further attribution should be necessary. Those images that are from random sources on the internet don't need ''credits'', they should be ''deleted'' for legal reasons. Those who are unused can be deleted right away, the few that are used should be replaced by promotional material asap.

:And that's where you come into play. You, just like any other user, can browse the file library and edit image pages just fine. So the easiest way to do something, if this honestly concerns you, is go through the images we have on the server, find those that do not belong to lg15, lgpedia, or the contributors, and [[Template:Delete|tag them for deletion]]. An administrator will look at them and delete them if there are no objections.
:Please do ''not'' tag the used ones for deletion, instead categorize them in a category like "Images that should be replaced for legal reasons". That gives us an overview of where and how many images still have to be replaced.

:So, in the end, rest assured, we understand your concerns, but due to the fact that we are more or less actually part of the company that released the large majority of our visual material, the situation is by far not as grim as it sounds. We would like to correct this as soon as possible by getting rid of the offending material, but especially the more active users here often have their own pet projects occupying them, while the administration is busy keeping everything running - therefore, we need ''your'' help. Please identify and categorize these legally offending images so we can replace and remove them as soon as possible.
:Thank you.
::Thank you very much for your detailed explanation. But, I think you may have taken my query a bit the wrong way. I wasn't trying to stir up trouble by challenging the purpose here (not that you said that), I was only concerned, in that, I thought this wiki was made by fans only, and could possibly receive some flak from the production, crew or photographers, so to speak. I guess from editing Wikipedia and, having so many rules there I wanted to be sure of the rules, if any for this project. ==Copyright issues?==
I know when I wanted to copy a professional image of my own brother at Kinko's they balked a LOT, even though that photo was of my very own brother and I wanted it for personal use, all because the photo was obviously professionally done, and had the name of the photographer on the back as a clear give-a-way lol (the images was used as an ad in a magazine for sunglasses, BTW.) But it boild down to a question of usability: The drawback of having to link each instance of the tag "Help" to "Help (tag)" is smaller than the drawback of having to inform ''every single user'' that the page "Help" is not actually the help-page.
==Copyright issues?==
:) TIA. [[Jonas]] became a lead character after [[Gemma]]'s disappearance. '''Jonas's house''' has been a major backdrop since [[Daniel]] and [[Bree]] joined him there. His house is large and in a remote area in [[1500 Miles|Seahaven, CA]], which is north of San Francisco. He inherited it from his parents when they where lost at sea. Most of the videos take place in the library, though some show the living room or outside, such as the video [[Skateboarding]]. [[The Creators]] have revealed that the house is actually [[Kenneth Goodfried]]'s house.

In the first picture, Jonas is seen talking on his webcam in his library on [[Happy Thanksgiving|Thanksgiving Day]].

In the second picture, in [[Trust Issues]], what may be key elements of Jonas's library can be seen (besides all the books on the bookshelf):

*Trophies
*Polaroid camera
*Boxing gloves
*What appears to be a statue of some kind

This video features Jonas wearing a distinctive "sailors cap/Argyle hat".

In [[Trust Issues]], a clock set to [[7:10]] is visible. (If the clock is actually set to 7:11 then perhaps the [[Orange Slurpee]] [[cult]] is on to something.)
(''Bree is in the Jonas' library. She speaks in a quiet tone, and seems to be on the verge of tears throughout.'')

'''Bree:''' Hey, so... I'm here. Um... I don't really feel like talking to anyone right now. I don't feel like it at all. Both Jonas and Daniel keep asking me if I'm okay... like I'm recovering from a sprained ankle or something. Even if I wanted to talk to somebody about it, I couldn't. They don't understand what I'm dealing with. Besides, no amount of talking is gonna make the hurt any less. I don't really know how to say this, so... I guess I'll just say it the way it's been running through my head the past couple of days. (''long pause'') My dad... my dad wasn't my real dad, and, um, my mom wasn't my real mom. Um, my dad told me this before, before he, um...

My dad told me a lot, actually. My mind hasn't been able to process it all. It's like, you go through life with all of these questions. And, eventually you don't even want to think about it because there are a million different answers. And after awhile, you just get into this nice little state of mind where you just accept the fact that you don't know anything, and you have faith that you're making the right decisions. And then, one day, you find out the truth, and it's so overwhelming, that you're forced to view your life from an entirely different perspective. It's like, you're not even the same person anymore. My father went through this recently, which is why he wanted to get together. So now, his mid-life crisis is my... early teen-life crisis. I don't want to get into this right now, but, I won't be talking to my mother anytime soon. (''sighs'')

I just need... the space and the time to figure things out. And, I don't want to think about it and I don't want to talk about it, and if feeling the way that I'm feeling is my only option, then... I don't want to feel anything. It's kinda hard to take a break from your own reality if your friends are shoving it in your face. Even if they mean the best, you know? Anyway, I hope that Daniel and Jonas give me some space. I know that you guys are gonna see this, and I've already told you face to face, okay? So please just... respect my decision. If I wanna talk about it, then I promise to let you know. I really wish that it were that simple. (''whispers'') But it's not.
'''Bronislava "Bree" Avery''' (October 26, 1989 —August 3, 2007) a.k.a. '''lonelygirl15''' was the star of the Lonelygirl15 [[List of Lonelygirl15 videos|video series]], best friend (and sometimes love interest) to [[Daniel]] (a.k.a. Danielbeast) and queen of the "[[Proving Science Wrong (series)|Proving Science Wrong]]" skits. The backstory of this vivacious young homeschooler was shrouded in much mystery, as each episode revealed bits and pieces of her life and activities. All of her initial videos took place in her [[Bree's bedroom|bedroom]].

==Past Travels==
In "[[Mysteries of My Past... REVEALED!]]", Bree gave a little rundown of all her travels. According to Bree, she was born in America, and moved to New Zealand when she was eight years old. While there, her family lived in a [[commune]] next to a small town. At age ten, Bree's family visited the Northern Territory of Australia. At the age of twelve, they moved to Nottinghamshire England, and resided there for two years. After England, they finally settled down in their Californian home in the United States.

==Schooling==
Bree had mentioned many times that she was homeschooled, but she also revealed in videos that she had previously attended a traditional public school at least two times. Her first school was in [[New Zealand]], where she was removed after her parents witnessed a lack of discipline. Her second attempt at public school was in the U.S. where she made two friends, [[Cassie]] and [[Daniel]]. Cassie was uncomfortable with Bree's religion and stopped hanging out with her after she left school. Daniel and Bree stayed best friends.

Bree's parents removed her from the school when she became the subject of ridicule, rumors, and hostilities from fellow classmates. In "[[Poor Pluto]]" Bree says that students made fun of her for asking too many astronomy questions in a science class. They started calling her [[Stargirl]] and when she continued asking questions they suggested she was having a relationship with the teacher. Daniel later said in "[[I Want to Take Bree to a Party!]]" that he hadn't thought the teasing was that big of a deal. Bree had remarked in comments to her YouTube videos that she'd like to go back to public school.

Bree was interested in astronomy, quantum physics, history, and evolution. Her studies were quite advanced for a secondary education level.

==The Fake Ceremony==
[[Image:Breemontage.jpg|thumb|right|285px|Freeze frames of Bree from her video blogs.]]
Bree posted her [[First Blog / Dorkiness Prevails|first video]] on June 16, 2006 on the video sharing site [[YouTube]]. With the help of her best friend Daniel, she opened her life to thousands of viewers on YouTube. While her first five videos were playful, she was willing to post "[[My Parents Suck...]]", opening her feelings to several viewers.

Tensions began to run high between Daniel and Bree when she was asked to perform a [[The Ceremony (ritual)|ceremony]] later in the fall. Along with several other fans, Daniel was curious that the Ceremony was nothing good, and began to follow Bree and her Helper, [[Lucy]] to see if something was afoot. After posting videos of himself following her, Bree got [[Daniel Crossed The Line|angry]] at Daniel for stalking her, and asked him not to do it anymore. Nevertheless, Daniel remained worried about Bree and continued to follow her.

Bree explained that she had to undergo rigorous preparation for the Ceremony. She had a special [[Bree's diet|diet]], took [[Iron pills|iron supplements]], received [[Bree's injections|injections]] of a then undisclosed substance, learned the rare language of [[Enochian]] and practiced exercises and walking steps with her new helper Lucy. The reasons for many aspects of her preparation remain unclear. Her [[Bree's injections|injections]], and supplemets in particular, sparked the curiosity of many viewers.

On October 12th, 2006, Daniel followed Bree to a nearby forest where he believed he witnessed her performing the Ceremony. Bree's videos following the event appeared to have confirmed this, until Daniel and fans noticed she still had gauze on her arm, meaning she was still receiving injections, which began to raise questions. These questions were validated when Bree posted the video "[[I Lied To Daniel]]", where she admitted that the event that took place on October 12th was nothing more than a fake Ceremony to draw Daniel into the open. It was this that began to make Bree question her faith.

Bree went to her parents for help, and they told her she didn't have to perform the Ceremony. While Bree's parents were supportive, the higher ups of her faith - the [[Deacons]] - felt that it was [[Life's Not Fair|unacceptable to back out]] of the Ceremony because it was too late to find a replacement. As a result, Bree's parents told her to stay at Daniel's until they discussed with the Deacons further.

Little did Bree and Daniel know that the Deacons would actually take her parents with them soon after. With a note hidden in [[Purple Monkey]] from her father telling her to leave the house with Daniel, Bree began her life on the run from [[the Order]].

==Life On the Run==
While they originally traveled from motel to motel, both Bree and Daniel became desperate enough to where they began living off the streets. Unsure of what to so next, and finally breaking down, the two asked for advice on what to do. [[Gemma]], Bree's friend from England told them it would be best if they simply went home. A new face, [[Jonas]], suggested they come stay with him, for he had a large empty house to himself and enough money to help them out.

While Bree wanted to go to Jonas immediately, Daniel thought it was best to ask their friends on [[lonelygirl15.com]], who have been following Bree and Daniel via their video blogs since the beginning. After coming to a vote, fans suggested that it was best if they both go to Jonas.

[[Image:Christmas 2006.jpg|thumb|right|210px|X-Mas 2006 - Owen's a great photographer!]]
As they arrived at the meeting area, Daniel decided that he wasn't willing to go to Jonas', despite what Bree or their online friends had chosen. The day ended with Bree going with Jonas and Daniel heading home. However, by [[Christmas Surprise|Christmas morning]], Daniel had changed his mind and joined Bree and Jonas.

While with Jonas, Bree made contact with her [[Drew Avery|father]], who left a [[Bree Phone Home puzzle|coded message]], telling her that he had to meet her alone. Soon after Christmas, Bree went to meet him, when she disappeared. Daniel and Jonas managed to crack the code just in time to catch up with Bree and her father. They were able to rescue Bree, but her father was [[The Unthinkable Happened|shot and killed]] by members of the Order.

Before her father died however, he provided her [[Opening the Box|with information]] on why the Order wanted Bree to perform the Ceremony. It was also revealed that Bree's father was trying to make Bree undesirable to the Order by giving her the injections.
After her father's death, Bree stated that she wouldn't be talking to her mother anytime soon - yet it was undetermined whether this was because she was upset that her parents lied to her, if she was unable to contact her due to safety concerns, or if perhaps she was a loyal high ranking member of the Order.

After that murderous day, the trio went back to Jonas's house where Bree refused to talk about what happened for several days. Bree also rejected Daniel's attempts to advance their on-and-off relationship, which Daniel reacted by going to "[[Minor_locations#Pins_and_Pints|Pins & Pints]]", trying to meet the local girls but only getting drunk. On his second trip to Pins & Pints, Daniel was kidnapped by the Order and [[Miss Me?|held ransom]] to force Bree into performing the Ceremony.

With the help of [[Tachyon]] and Brother, Bree and Jonas were able to rescue Daniel. However, the Order soon found the location of Jonas's home, and they were forced to flee to a cabin. While there, Bree began to believe that Jonas was part of the Order. Before she knew the truth, she tied Jonas up and was willing to leave him at the cabin; however Jonas [[Proving Bree Wrong|proved Bree wrong]] and much apologizing ensued.

In early March, the trio decided to stay with Jonas's Aunt [[Alex]] for a short time. They soon found out, though, that Alex was part of the Order. Leaving Alex, the trio traveled to Las Vegas where they were captured by a [[Shadow]], then drugged, and interrogated by members of the Order. After [[Communication Terminated|escaping]], they decided to follow Alex to Mexico. There, they learned from her that [[The Perfect Beach|the Order no longer needed Bree]].

They soon fled Mexico to an old [[The bunker|Resistance bunker]] in the second half of April, where Bree began to search out the possibility that the Order had found [[New Girl|another girl]] to perform the Ceremony. Coming to the conclusion that the Order had chosen [[Jules|Julia Anderson]] to perform the Ceremony, the three friends journeyed to Zavalla, Texas to try and stop her. There, she met up with [[Taylor]] and [[Sarah]], who were willing to help Bree save Julia. Unfortunately, Julia contacted the Order and Bree agreed to [[What the F*@k???|go with them]] in Julia's stead.

After her surrender, Bree was apparently brainwashed and filmed [[Sing With Me|promotional videos]] for the Hymn of One. While Bree was apparently content with fellow members of the Hymn of One, there appeared to be someone on the [[TCC|inside]] communicating to Daniel and Jonas.

Daniel and Jonas utilized the clues from this mysterious informant, successfully rescuing Bree from the Order, although against her will. Initially after the rescue, she seemed [[Bedside Manner|unresponsive and brainwashed]], but after a few days, she appeared to regain control over her mind. She briefly began a [[HOLY SH%T!!!|relationship]] with Jonas, but then immediately [[Going Home|fled]] and returned to the Hymn of One willingly.

==The Ceremony==
[[Image:0254-BreeLyingDownEyesClosed.jpg|thumb|right|210px|Her final moments . . .]]
After reuniting with the Hymn of One, Bree began making more recruitment videos (which continued to have coded messages). It became clear that she was being prepared for the Ceremony once more, and that there was little time for her friends to save her. In [[A Week to Remember|her final recruitment video]], Bree claimed that she felt joy, as well as encouragement from her deceased father. She also had reunited with her mother while staying with fellow Hymn of One members. Bree revealed that her mother had a role in preparing her for the Ceremony.

Though her friends did everything in their power to [[12 in 12|rescue her]], on August 3rd, 2007, Bree completed the Ceremony. It was revealed that the Ceremony was nothing but a ploy for the young girl's blood to be collected and administered into an elder from the Order, which resulted in her death.

The tragic day ended in a further revelation as Jonas received a voice message from Bree for him and Daniel. In the message, Bree revealed that she was aware of her actions and that she decided to perform the Ceremony to protect Daniel and Jonas because she loved them both.

It has been brought up, from the [http://www.youtube.com/user/LaRezisto LaRezisto videos], that she may still be alive. This is no longer a plausible theory due to [[LaRezisto locations|LaRezisto]] being unmasked as a fake organization.

==Family==
===The Averys===
[[Image:P Monkey Note.jpg|thumb|right|285px|The Note from Bree's Dad]]
In "[[How My Parents Met]]", Bree revealed that her [[Bree's parents#Mother|mother]] and [[Bree's parents#Father|father]] met in London during the intermission of the play ''[[Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead]]''. Apparently the two got into a heated argument about the central theme of the play and (according to Bree) her father, Drew Avery, was "smitten like a kitten". In the same episode, Bree also divulged that her father studied medicine at {{wikipedia|Oxford}}.

It appeared obvious that heer parents were strictly religious. This was one reason that Bree was homeschooled. In the video, "[[Learning To Drive]]", Bree told [[Daniel]] that her parents are not the [[The Order|Order of Denderah]], presumably a reference to her [[Hymn of One|religion]].

===Birth Parents===
In "[[My Dad Said...]]", viewers learned that Bree's parents were not actually her biological parents. This was apparently revealed to Bree soon before her father was shot, and may have been what she and her father were talking about in "[[The Unthinkable Happened]]". Because she was still mourning for the loss of the man she knew as her father, Bree wasn't very open and didn't discuss her thoughts of the fact that the people she called her parents weren't her biological parents. It has been confirmed that baby girls who are trait positive are adopted by HoO members to be raised for the Ceremony.

It is revealed in the fourth part of Bloodlines that Bree was born to a young mother in Russia, and was originally named Bronislava. She and her sister, [[Gina]], were purchased by Verdus and taken to America. Bree went to the Averys to be raised as their own, and Gina was given to Dr. Hart for use as a test subject.

==Friends==
[[Image:J bree.jpg|thumb|right|200px|P. Monkey's her friend, but at one point he was "like a cancer" - Daniel]]
Traveling around the world at a young age and being homeschooled essentially denied Bree having many friends.

While in England, she became good friends with a dog. Bree revealed that the dog was her only friend when living there (The dog's owner, was later revealed to be [[Gemma]])

During her venture into high school, she befriended a young woman named [[Cassie]], who was in Daniel's class (although he claimed he didn't recognize the name). Bree says that everyone made fun of Cassie and that they used to walk around the track together. They initially spent time together, but Cassie was uncomfortable with Bree's religion. Cassie and Bree also got into trouble one time for prank calling, a past time that Cassie apparently enjoyed more than Bree. After Bree returned to homeschooling, she and Cassie stopped spending time together.

As a result of Bree's solitude, she had befriended many stuffed animals. Bree's stuffed animal friends were [[Purple Monkey|P. Monkey]], [[Owen]], and [[Thor]], and she utilized them as puppets or props in various episodes.

During a party in the Summer of 2006, Bree met Daniel's Friends [[Paul]] and [[Andrea]]. She liked them a lot and the foursome made plans to go bowling together. It is unclear if they ever went bowling.

Since being on the road for several months, it is became clear she had two confident friends in Daniel and Jonas. Her friendship with them (along with the death of her father) had slowly made her lose interest in her stuffed animal friends.

Before being taken by the Order Bree befriended [[Taylor]], and became acquainted with Taylor's [[Sarah|sister]] too.

==Notes==
===Religion===
''Main Articles: [[The Order]], [[The Hymn of One]], [[The Ceremony (ritual)]]''

Not much is known for sure about [[Bree's religion]], which was the source of a great deal of debate because of its role in [[The Ceremony (ritual)]]. Fans initially speculated that it was related to [[Thelema]], but this was dismissed by [[Gemma]] in "[[Learning Egyptian]]", who claimed that it is not a religion at all. Rather, Bree's "religion" was a front for a secret society known as [[the Order]]. That said religion has since been revealed to be called The Hymn of One.

*'''Diet'''
In order to participate in [[The Ceremony]] Bree had to eat [[Bree's diet| a special diet]].

*'''Bree's injections'''
For a discussion of Bree's injections [[Bree's injections|go here]]. Bree was also taking [[Iron pills]] which were thought to be a compliment to the injections.

===Bree's bedroom===
[[Image:Breesdesk2.JPG|thumb|Probably the best view of Bree's workstation that we'll ever get.]]
Most of the early Lonelygirl15 videos took place in [[Bree's bedroom]]. Because her camera was on her computer, and her computer faced one side of the room, we normally only saw one side of the room. In the video "[[What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?]]", the webcam was carried by Bree as she followed Daniel around the room, helping us see every angle of her room. The only good shot we might ever get of Bree's workstation (her desk and computer) is at the right, a snapshot taken from the video.

===Etymology===
*Bree is the anglicized form of the Irish Gaelic female name Brígh, which means "power" or "high." Fans began to speculate that Bree's name may refer to her importance to [[the Order]] in that it may be that her Ceremony was designed as an initiation into a ''high'' position entailing ''power.''

*Alternatively, the video "[[What Did Daniel and Dad Talk About?]]" makes an implicit link between the name ''Bree'' and ''Brie cheese''.

*Since the confirmation of Bree's last name, fans have noted that Bree's full name (Bree Avery) is a play on the word "bravery."

*In the [[Bloodlines: Part 4|Season 2 Finale]], it was revealed that Bree's first name was once Bronislava. The feminine form of Bronislaw, the name contains the Slavic elements ''bron'' (meaning "protection") and ''slav'' (meaning "glory").<ref>[http://www.behindthename.com/name/bronisl16aw BRONISŁAW.] Behind the Name; the etymology and history of first names</ref>

==Past Travels==

==Schooling==

==The Fake Ceremony==

==Life On the Run==

==The Ceremony==

It has been brought up, from the LaRezisto videos, that she may still be alive. This is no longer a plausible theory due to LaRezisto being unmasked as a fake organization.
===The Averys===
She and her sister, [[Gina]], were purchased by Verdus and taken to America. Bree went to the Averys to be raised as their own, and Gina was given to Dr. Hart for use as a test subject.

==Friends==
[[Image:J bree.jpg|thumb|right|200px|P. Monkey's her friend, but at one point he was "like a cancer" - Daniel]]

===Religion===

===Etymology===

==Past Travels==

==Schooling==

==The Fake Ceremony==

==Life On the Run==

==The Ceremony==

It has been brought up, from the LaRezisto videos, that she may still be alive. This is no longer a plausible theory due to LaRezisto being unmasked as a fake organization.

==Family==
===The Averys===

===Birth Parents===

==Friends==

==Past Travels==

==Schooling==

==The Fake Ceremony==

==Life On the Run==

==The Ceremony==

It has been brought up, from the LaRezisto videos, that she may still be alive. This is no longer a plausible theory due to LaRezisto being unmasked as a fake organization.

==Family==
===The Averys===

===Birth Parents===

==Friends==

==Notes==
===Religion===

===Bree's bedroom===

===Etymology===

The feminine form of Bronislaw, the name is contains the Slavic elements ''bron'' (meaning "protection") and ''slav'' (meaning "glory").

==Life On the Run==

==The Ceremony==

It has been brought up, from the LaRezisto videos, that she may still be alive. This is no longer a plausible theory due to LaRezisto being unmasked as a fake organization.

==Family==
===The Averys===

===Birth Parents===

==Friends==

==Notes==
===Religion===

===Bree's bedroom===

===Etymology===

The feminine form of Bronislaw, the name is contains the Slavic elements ''bron'' (meaning "protection") and ''slav'' (meaning "glory"). '''Jonas:''' RUN!!!

(''Jonas and Emma are running down a stairway in Dr. William Porter's hospital. Emma is in front of Jonas, who is filming. They reach a set of doors and go outside to jump over a brick wall and run onto the front lawn. Jonas pants. Jonas films some of the windows on Porter's hospital. Gunshots are heard.'')

'''Jonas:''' Emma!

(''Emma is seen in front of Jonas, lying on the field.'')

'''Jonas:''' Emma! Oh God! Oh God!

(''Jonas sets the camera down on the grass as he picks Emma up off the ground.'')

'''Jonas:''' Are you okay? You're okay, you're okay. I'm gonna get you out of here. I'll get you out of here!

(''Jonas runs away to a car which pulls up in front of the camera. More gunshots are heard.'')

'''Sarah:''' Daniel, let's go!

'''Jonas:''' Daniel, where the hell-?

(''Daniel appears in front of the camera, grabs it, and runs over to the car.'')

'''Daniel:''' Go on!

'''Jonas:''' Get her in, get her in!

'''Sarah:''' Hurry up! Come on!

'''Jonas:''' Go, go, go, go!

(''Jonas, Emma, Sarah, and Daniel get in the car. Jennie is driving and Sarah is in the passenger seat.'')

'''Jennie:''' Is she okay?

'''Daniel:''' Just drive.

'''Jennie:''' What happened?

'''Daniel:''' Jennie, drive.

'''Jennie:''' Alright, okay.

'''Sarah:''' Daniel, what happened? Is everything okay?

'''Jennie:''' Is Emma okay?

'''Emma:''' Jonas...

'''Jonas:''' Just get us the hell out of here, please!

'''Gina:''' Yeah, go!

'''Jennie:''' I don't know where to go.

'''Sarah:''' Turn! Turn!

'''Jonas:''' GO!!

'''Sarah:''' Here. Turn.

'''Jonas:''' You're fine. Emma, you're gonna be fine. You're gonna be alright.

(''Cut to Daniel filming Jennie and Jonas in what appears to be the same location from [[Running For Life]].'')

'''Jennie:''' I'm just trying-

'''Jonas:''' That is not helping! Why don't you just keep your mouth shut and let me handle this like I always do?

'''Jennie:''' But you're not handling it!!

'''Jonas:''' I'm handling it right now!

'''Jennie:''' No, you're not! You're just sitting here when we should be taking Emma to a hospital, Jonas!

'''Jonas:''' You can't take her to a hospital! Okay, [[the Order]]'s gonna be looking for her everywhere.

'''Jennie:''' She has lost so much blood! We can't just leave her in the back of the car like that!

'''Jonas:''' She killed an [[Elder]]! Okay?! You weren't there! Get back in the car!!

(''Cut to Gina stroking Emma's hair in the back seat of the car. Jennie is seen walking away. Cut to Daniel sitting outside''.)

'''Daniel:''' Hey, guys. I guess you're all probably wondering what happened with me. I mean, why I left Emma behind with [[Dr. Hart]]. Look, Emma wouldn't leave. I tried to grab her. But Dr. Hart had a plan - to kill [[William Porter]]; to save both girls. And Emma wanted to fight. She knew the risks, and ''still'' she wanted to fight. And she won.
'''Jennie''' is a young woman [[Sarah]] [[Missing Girl Found|befriends]] at the [[Lullaby Project]] encampment.
She [[Jennie Bares All|previously attended]] UC Berkeley as an anthropology major. She later finished her field study in Oaxaca, Mexico. Not ready to go back to school, she volunteered with the Lullaby Project.

==Leaving the Lullaby Project==
She and Sarah helped the Lullaby Project by helping set up a portable medical facility and handing out Lullaby care packages to the local women. Jennie began questioning the Lullaby Project when she made a [[Am I A Murderer?|trip]] to a local village to do prep work with some of the women, when a woman she was trying to help told her the Lullaby Project was a "curse" and that it had caused many miscarriages in her family.

Afterward, Jennie decided to look into what the project was up to and [[Help Me Save Them!|found]] many discrepancies in the files. When she talked to a very unconcerned [[Carl]] about it, he told her to just forget what she had seen. Jennie decided to [[Party of One|flee]] the Lullaby Project when Carl found she had posted the video showing his indifference toward the undocumented miscarriages. Desperate for help, she reached out to Daniel and Jonas's [[Party of One#Chat|online cybercrackers]] for advice. Once she felt that she could trust Daniel and Jonas, Jennie led them all to Mexico where they [[Party Crashers|rescued]] a very resistant Sarah.

After the rescue, the group split up: Daniel and Sarah returned to California while Jonas, Emma, and Jennie remained in Mexico to try and stop the Lullaby Project. It was here when they [[Cream or Sugar?|received]] a message that Dr. Hart wanted to meet them. Unforunately, this was simply [[KIDNAPPED!|another trap]] by the Order to kidnap Emma.

Jennie has decided to travel back to California with Jonas to meet Daniel and Sarah. She initially [[long Drive Home|expressed]] that she may not be the type to fight the Order, but after [[Stay Strong|some encouraging words by Daniel]], she figured she was somehow "[[Attracted to Danger]]" (or Jonas), and stayed with the TAAG. Ultimately, she did come along to [[Bloodlines: Part 1|both recent attempts]] [[Bloodlines: Part 2|to save Emma]], but does not seem used to the danger and adrenaline of such situations yet.

==Personality==
Sarah explained that while Jennie volunteered with several known members of the Order, she beleives that the "Hymn of One crap is ridiculous." Despite this, she told Sarah that "We eat their food and sleep in their tents. So when in Rome, be a gladiator!" We also learn that she is a fan of making obscure references. As Jennie began to get the hang of blogging, she made a new [[Procreating on Peyote|video]] in which she appears alone and unaided by Sarah, where she talked casually to the audience about random facts and also expressed her concern for Sarah and her new found [[Free Love|faith.]]

==Etymology==
Jennie is a variant of the name "Jenny" which is both a common nickname for the names of Jennifer and Jane.<ref>[http://www.behindthename.com/name/jennie Jennie.] at BehindTheName.com</ref>

Jane comes from the English form of ''Jehanne'', an Old French feminine form of Johannes (or "John"), which is derived from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan) meaning "YAHWEH is gracious". This name is popular for its New Testament characters -- the first was John the Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus Christ, The second was the apostle John.<ref>[http://www.behindthename.com/name/jane Jane.] at BehindTheName.com</ref>

Jennifer is a Cornish form of the Welsh name ''Gwenhwyfar'' (the old form of "Guinevere"). Guinevere is composed of the elements meaning "fair, white, and smooth". In Arthurian legend she is the beautiful wife of King Arthur.<ref>[http://www.behindthename.com/name/jennifer Jennifer.] at BehindTheName.com</ref>

[[Image:Bree Phone.jpg|thumb|right|250px|Why can't my dad leave normal voicemails like all the other dads...]]
In [[Bree Phone Home]], [[Bree]] calls several of her relatives in hopes of finding out what could have happened to her parents. When she dials great uncle [[Franklin]] from San Francisco, her call is picked up by an answering machine for Powell's Dry Cleaners.

==Powell's Dry Cleaners Message==
[[Bree]] said the phone number aloud as she dialed it: 287-0211. Since she mentioned Franklin was in San Francisco, one of the possible area codes was (415). Calling 415-287-0211 allows you to listen to the same message heard by Bree.

::''Hello and thank you for calling Powell's Dry Cleaners. We are open 7 days a week from 9 am until 5 pm. Our current specials are as follows: Dress shirts 3 for $5 with an 8-9 day turn around time. We also offer rush service at a rate of 3 shirts for $12. Please leave a message after the tone and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you.''

===Solution===
The numbers of shirts and days that it will take to clean them are the real message. The message below has the numbers in bold.

::''Hello and thank you for calling Powell's Dry Cleaners. We are open '''7''' days a week from '''9''' am until '''5''' pm.
The numbers are '''7953589312'''. This is not a phone number. However, when reversed, it yields (213)-985-3597, which is indeed a phone number. When this number is dialed, a voice message from Bree's father plays.

==Bree's father's message==
This is the message heard after dialing (213) 985-3597.

::''Bree, it's your father. If you are listening to this message, you managed to crack my code. Your mother and I are safe but I need to talk to you alone. Confirm that you got this by sending me a secret message back. I'll meet you one week after that at the place where we used to talk about Feynman and Jared Diamond. I know you're confused right now. But all will make sense after we talk. I'll see you soon sweetie.''

===Solution===

[[Richard Feynman]] is a famous physicist for whom [[Bree]] has great admiration. She quoted him in her blog [[Daniel Returns, and More Interesting Factoids (Yay!)]], in which she tells a story from his book ''Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman''.

Bree also quotes Jared Diamond' ''Guns, Germs and Steel'' in the [[The Tolstoy Principle (and Dad "talks" to Daniel)]].

Since [[Bree]] is homeschooled and these readings have been assumed to be part of her coursework, it's possible that her dad is referring to some place where they used to go to work on her studies. He does not seem to specify what kind of secret message he wants her to send back.

The following videos demonstrate how [[Bree]] responded to her father's message and where they met up.

Neither phone number is currently in use.

==[[Mystery Movies]] message==
When [[Bree]] hears the answering machine's message for Powell's Dry Cleaners, she seems disillusioned and says she's run out of leads. She either has not yet realized there is a puzzle behind the message, or she was acting as if she didn't notice.
In her video [[Mystery Movies]], [[Bree]] names the movies she watched that day and mentions
*'''C'''''itizen Kane''
*'''U'''''sual Suspects''
*'''S'''''neakers''
*'''O'''''ut of Sight''
*'''O'''''cean's Eleven''
*'''N'''''ever Say Never Again''
The first letter of the titles of these movies spell out "CUSOON", as in "See you soon." Bree must have indeed figured out the puzzle and this is her response to his message. Although even in this video she acts like she can't figure out the puzzle, presumably she's putting on that act because her father wanted it to be a secret message. Bree's frequent mention of movies and how she used to go watch them with her dad might be another clue as to the location of the meeting place.

Since her father had requested that she meet him a week after receiving the message, their meeting was expected to take place on Saturday, December 30th, 2006.

==[[Bree's Gone]]==
On December 26th, [[Jonas]] woke up to find that [[Bree]] was missing along with one of his cars, a credit card, and a couple hundred dollars in cash. [[Daniel]] was as surprised as Jonas that Bree would do something like that, and they posted a video about it titled "[[Bree's Gone]]". Since Bree was expected to meet her father on the 30th, it was assumed that she drove off to reach the meeting place on time. She likely did not mention it to Jonas or Daniel because her father wanted the meeting to be kept secret.

==[[Roadtrip]]==
After [[Bree]] suddenly ran off, [[Daniel]] and [[Jonas]] scrambled to find out where she could have gone. Daniel figures out the codes and sets off with Jonas to find the meeting place. Although Daniel seems to have figured out where the meeting place should be, he doesn't say specifically where they are going.

==[[The Unthinkable Happened]]==
On December 30th, 2006 [[Jonas]] and [[Daniel]] found [[Bree]] meeting with her [[Bree's parents#Father|father]] at an unnamed location, confirming that Bree and her father indeed managed to successfully communicate via these puzzles. [[Nikki Bower]] later discovered that the location was [[The Last Hours of Bree's Dad's Life - NBR 9|The Coral Tree Cafe]].
