The '''Elders''', also known as '''The Order of Denderah''' ([[A Solid Lead]], April 26th, 2007) are the utmost figures of authority in the [[Hymn of One]].

Many members of the Hymn of One believe it is [[I Completed The Ceremony|an honor]] to be in the presence of an Elder. They greatly respect and revere these men and women. Because they are so important, Elders are extremely well protected by their aggressive, inhumane bodyguards called [[Shadow]]s, who cannot leave their sides unless permission is given.

However, it seems that the Elders are nothing more than the greedy masterminds behind [[the Order]] and more specifically, [[the Ceremony (ritual)|the Ceremony]]. The Elders are very old, as their name implies, and in order to stay alive as long as possible, they receive a transfusion of the blood of [[trait positive]] girls, such as [[Bree]]. Each transfusion extends an Elder's life [[The Weekend Starts Here?|40 - 50 years]]. Apparently there are twelve Elders who rotate in turn for a chance to be the recepient of a new Ceremony girl's life-giving blood.

==Creating your own initial==
Creating your own initial is simple: Just choose the name that should call your initial, and create a subpage of Template:Init with that name! Everything on that subpage will be displayed when your initial is called.

For example, the initial for Jonas is called by <code><nowiki>{{init|Jonas}}</nowiki></code>, and shows the code from [[Template:Init/Jonas]]. The initial for Daniel is called by <code><nowiki>{{init|Daniel}}</nowiki></code>, and shows the code from [[Template:Init/Daniel]].

The only thing to watch out for is that the name of your page ''must'' begin with a capital letter, and all other letters ''must'' be lowercase. Other than that, you ''should'' use a similar style as other initials, and you ''should'' pick a name that only consists of typable characters, but technically, you're not restricted to either. Remember to add your new initial to the appropriate list on [[Template:Init/Docs]].
