When my dad was 23 he got a fellowship to study medicine at the University of Oxford. My mom, who was two years younger, was studying in Edinburgh, which is in [[Scotland]].

So my mom used to take the train down to London on the long weekends because she was doing her dissertation on {{wikipedia|Johann_Weyer|Johann Weyer}}. She would study at the British Museum and sometimes go and see plays. One day she went to see [[Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead]], which is about two small characters in Hamlet, but in this play theyâre the main characters. I know this is complicated but bear with me, itâs pretty much the coolest story ever.

So when the intermission came my mom went out to the lobby, and she overheard these two boys arguing. They were arguing about [[Free will]] vs. Determinism which is apparently the theme of the play. They were just trying to sound smart.

One of the boys was saying that because the two characters die in the end of Hamlet that nothing they do matters. That was my dad. My mom listened for a few minutes and decided that pretty much everything my dad was saying was wrong. So she thought it was time to open up a good-olâ fashioned can of whoopâ

So she tapped him on the shoulder and she said that the message of the play was that these sad little characters had spent their lives arguing about the inevitability of their fate instead of actually doing something about it. And she said that if these boys didnât watch out, they would be just like them.

My dad was smittenâ¦ like a kitten. So when the play ended he was waiting for her by the exit. Sparks flewâ¦ doves criedâ¦ the sun setâ¦ the wind blewâ¦ oh my gosh.

They spent the rest of the day together and later my dad walked her to her train. They couldnât see each other very often because my mom was in Edinburgh. So they started writing letters. And thatâs about it. I have a really big day, so I should probably go get ready. I hope you enjoyed the storyâ¦

Why not a click through to a page with a directory of videos like you have above. The bigger the list gets the more its going to be needed that anyway. It was nice while it lasted having them on the home page but is it essential? :I was just thinking that it might be nice to be able to simple create a list of Bree, Daniel or Gemma vidoes. I dont know of any non manual way to do that but perhaps there is some Web 2.0/Ajax feature that would allow the creation of a table that could be sorted by Character or any other parameter listed.
