'''The Last Work''' was an event in the [[KateModern]] series which took place Saturday, June 28th, 2008, coinciding with the [http://www.bebo.com/BlogView.jsp?MemberId=4337221200&BlogId=6658313913 series finale]. Starting at 12PM British Standard Time (4AM PDT, 7AM EDT), videos were posted every hour, on the hour, for twelve hours. There were also several in-character interactions interspersed with the videos' release.

The event no doubt was orchestrated in part due to the success following the KateModern [[Precious Blood]] event.

Six chats were scheduled throughout the day at the following times: '''12PM BST''' (7AM EDT, 4AM PDT), '''2PM BST''' (9AM EDT, 6AM PDT), '''4PM BST''' (11AM EDT, 8AM PDT), '''8PM BST''' (3PM EDT, Noon PDT), '''11PM BST''' (6PM EDT, 3PM PDT), and '''12AM BST''' (7PM EDT, 4PM PDT).

The live chats were recorded and posted as episodes on the KateModern website, with exception to the 12PM BST chat, with members of the crew in the text chat citing technical difficulties as the reason.

As a response to the text chat (and several failed attempts at strikes), crew member Kelly put up a garden gnome from the series up for auction on eBay.

===12PM BST===

Sophie appeared for the first chat, alongside Charlie and Lee. They discussed how Charlie and Lee finally heard word from Steve, Lauren, and Toe and how those three were on their way back to London. They also asked for theories regarding Patient #12, how to get in touch with Gavin, and whether or not to trust Julia again. Charlie also explained that her recent arrest and time in jail will prevent her from wanting to go back to France in the near future.

===2PM BST===

Sophie hosted the chat again, this time with Toe. Not much plot development actually happened, Toe denied fancying Lauren, and flirted with Sophie, much to the hilarity of the chat room, with Toe asking which girls would marry him and which guys would have him in a fight. At the end, Toe left taking a carrier bag with an Apple logo on it to the annoyance of Sophie, before the video cut.

===4PM BST===
Sophie was joined by the members of [[The Celestial Network]], fronting questions for [[Meryl]]. A few minutes into the questioning, the office was broken in to, and they were attacked by someone in a suit. The video ended abruptly with Sophie screaming for help.

===8PM BST===
Rupert and Steve joined Sophie in her office. While Sophie wished to console the [[K-Team]] over the discoveries in the most recent video, Rupert was more concerned with saving Julia and the baby. He had received a puzzle from the Shadow, which Sophie [http://www.bebo.com/Blog.jsp?MemberId=4337221200 posted to her blog] and asked fans to help solve it. It was eventually resolved that the puzzle's answer was a Brewery above the office and Rupert and Steve raced to save Julia. Rupert left a final warning to Steve not to film their encounters with the Shadow.

===11PM BST===
Starting 30 minutes late due to unfortunate technical difficulties (Sophie ended up at a colleagues' desk), Sophie fielded general questions before Lee, Gavin, Charlie and Lauren arrived. Questions continued, including details of Lee's collection of 52 gnomes, the fact they didn't pick up the tape seen in the 11PM video, and Happy Birthday was sung. Sophie rejected calls for a dance off, and they all soon left to see Steve, who called up mentioning a surprise. Lee promised to film whatever happened.

===12AM BST===
The cast and crew appeared in their office for a wrap party. They danced for the fans, who had been continuously requesting a dance-off during the other live chats, and formally introduced themselves to fans as their out-of-character counterparts. They answered questions to tie up loose endings and then concluded with a formal goodbye from each member.

===Trouble in Paris===
As a lead-up to the event, there was a week-long event "'''Trouble in Paris'''", in which the characters went to Paris to help Julia. The event culminated in a contest to give away Charlie's [[KateModern product placement#Toyota Aygo Platinum|Toyota Aygo]] to a lucky fan who managed to guess which character had betrayed the rest of the group.

==Background==
Emma was adopted by her first parents at birth, when Emma was nine they were [[Emma's Safe|killed in an accident]], and she was then adopted by [[Jonas's parents]].

Shortly after Emma met Jonas, it was revealed that she was [[trait positive]] and had been chosen to be the new [[The Ceremony (ritual)|ceremony girl]]. Jonas and [[Daniel]] quickly drugged her and took her to a remote location, and asked [[Sarah]] to bring [[Spencer]]'s serum, to try to make her "Trait Negative." Although they told her a false story about meeting her parents for a vacation, she soon searched the Internet and discovered that her parents had been shot, about [[Bree]]’s death and the Hymn of One. She made a meager attempt to run away, but soon decided to stay, making Jonas promise to never lie to her again.

In the video "[[Shadow of Death]]", Emma, Jonas, and Daniel found themselves surrounded by [[the Order]]. In the midst of the ordeal, Sarah appeared . In the end, they made an escape when Emma charged at a [[Shadow]], grabbed him and he mysteriously died. The remaining Order members fled , Emma and the rest departed without resistance. This led Jonas to believe that she had special powers capable of killing Order members.

===LaRezisto===
Soon after the confrontation, [[Claire|LaRezisto]] released a [[Help Us!|video]] about Emma. In the video a male voice tells Emma that she has a power, that she should help LaRezisto and that the Order fears her. The video ends with the male voice calling her "Angel of Death". Daniel reacted with his [[Bullsh%t|own video]], expressing his mistrust for LaRezisto.

In the video "[[Decision Time]]", it is revealed that Emma began taking injections to convert her to trait negative. In the [[Last Train To...|following video]], Emma is shown boarding a train with her parents. Emma then posts a [[I Like Being Me|vlog]] telling us she wishes to live a normal life and announcing she will be taking the last of her injections.

After being gone only six days, Emma [[Robbing the Cradle|returns]] to Jonas and Daniel offering to help. Two days later, LaRezisto posted another video [[Join Me!|saying]] that she was a trait positive woman, named [[Claire]], wanting to help Emma hone her powers. Amid much protest from Daniel and Sarah, Jonas takes Emma to a remote place in the woods to meet with Claire. He then [[Watch Your Back|allows]] her to take Emma even deeper into the woods alone, and a [[Watcher]] comes out of the woods and calls Claire a "LaRezisto Shadow" and says Emma is in danger.

With Jonas unable to find her, videos have been posted from LaRezisto in which Claire [[Emma's Safe|warns TAAG]] not to make any attempts to find them. They also include clips of Emma, [[Girl Talk|apparently forced]] to say that [[She's Telling The Truth|she's fine]]. With TAAG doing all they could to find her, and Emma only in captivity for less than a month, Claire and Emma posted a [[Goodbye For Now|video]] saying that she would indeed be doing [[the Ceremony (ritual)|the Ceremony]] and saying goodbye to Jonas, Daniel, and Sarah. Emma was eventually [[What Happened?|rescued]] by TAAG, however, her father told her she would not be bothered by Jonas again.

===Becoming Trait Negative===

While in [[Around the World|hiding]] with her parents, Emma continued to post videos giving us updates on how she was doing, which included being sick and having strange [[Sick Dreams|dreams]]. After being silent for 15 days, Emma finally posted another [[Eat Pie|video]] where she tells us that she is back at school and has changed her name, but can't reveal what it is. In the same video, she told us that while she was not completely well, but feeling about "seventy to seventy five percent" and had developed a rash that she called a butterfly rash. Days later, she was unable to [[Can't Sleep. Wanna chat?|sleep]] and posted a video expressing her concerns about the rash and her similarities to the [[Gina|girl]] in the [[Who's that girl?|VHS tape]] Jonas had posted.

A few days later, Jonas and [[Dr. Calvin Hart|Dr. Hart]] were [[Killers at the Door?!|disrupted]] by knocking at their door, afraid they had been found by [[Verdus Pharmaceuticals|Verdus]], they began to flee, however, before they could, the hotel manager got into their room with Emma, who had made her way to Jonas. Jonas later [[Playing Doctor|explained]] that Emma had run away after showing her parents [[Gina]]'s videos and they wouldn't listen to her. Emma and Dr. Hart seem to have [[Get Your Freak On|bonded]] as they were seen sharing cookies and a lot of laughs. After Dr. Hart and Jonas were took Emma to a new undisclosed location, she posted a [[A Girl Alone|video]] sitting against a blank wall and telling us that her parents had put out an APB on her. Although she said very little, Jonas felt that her reference to fattigmann cookies tipped off Verdus and led them to [[They Shot Him!|ambush]] him and Dr. Hart. Days later, Emma [[Brainwashed In Chat|posted]] another video expressing her concern for Sarah who had logged into the chat and said she belonged with the [[Hymn of One]]. Emma, along with Jonas and Daniel, then followed Jennie to [[Mexico]] and [[Party Crashers|rescued]] Sarah.

===The Ceremony and Aftermath===

Surprisingly, it turned out Dr. Hart had been working with the Order all along, in an attempt to capture Emma. Emma was [[KIDNAPPED!|kidnapped]], and [[Girl Tied Up|Dr. Hart claimed]] he had no other choice. A few days later, however, he [[Her Body, Her Blood|was a lot colder about it]], explaining in detail how he had struck a deal with the Order in order to save Gina - if he got Emma for the Ceremony, Gina wouldn't have to do it. Fighting against time once more, on the day of the ceremony, the TAAG was able to [[Bloodlines: Part 1|find Emma at William Porter's house]], but Lucy managed to escape with her and brought her to Porter's house block. The group managed to locate her there at well, but for an unknown reason, Daniel [[Bloodlines: Part 2|left without her and took Gina instead]]. The reason for this became apparent when Dr. Hart started the Ceremony - seconds after it began, the Elder's heart failed and [[Bloodlines: Part 3|Dr. Hart helped Emma to escape]], possibly dying in the process.

After their escape from the hospital and the ceremony, it was thought that Emma may have been shot. This wasn't true, but she was losing blood at an alarming rate. Emma pulled through this experience and the group then went to stay in a cabin in the mountains where Emma sent a secret message the form of a BOGGLE board to her parents. She made contact with her parents and after saying a [[I Love You All|tearful goodbye]] to Jonas and the others and receiving financial help from Gina, took a train to meet them. Jonas, after initially acting out in [[Things Fall Apart|anger]], was able to get a hold on himself and send a [[I Lost It|message]] out to her telling her he understood and was proud of her.

===Emma's Return===
On [[Kick His A$S!!|March 25th 2008]], Jonas was confused when Carl mentioned that Jonas had been the one to push Emma away. Jonas was dumbfounded by this comment, and it was eventually forgotten. On [[Sneak Attack!|May 9th 2008]], nearly 3 months after Emma's last appearance, after avoiding Salinas, Jennie encounters [[Elizabeth Avery]], who tells her that Emma is going to be killed, and there's nothing anyone can do about. Before anything else can be heard, Jonas pulls Jennie away. The location or current state of Emma is unknown.

==Childhood==
Born in Barrington, Illinois, Becki spent much of her childhood watching her mother act in plays that she had written. Thus, she became fascinated with that particular line of work early on. When she was six, her family moved to Colorado, and Becki was given the chance to act in her first play, which was held at her family's church. From that point on, she knew she wanted to be an actress and took part in dozens of plays throughout middle school and high school, as well as a number of acting classes in the area.

In addition to acting, Becki also loves horses and rode from the time she was 8 years old until she was 16. She stopped, not because she lost interest, but because she was asked to do so for an acting job, as there was fear she might break a bone. During her active years in the riding community, Becki volunteered at a riding center for disabled children and adults.

After completing her freshman year of high school in Colarado, Becki continued high school in California, and graduated a semester early. She took a job at Macy's, and sold perfume for a little over a year. When it was time for college, Becki went to UCSB, where she picked up horseback riding again. However, Becki's college career did not last very long, for she left after her freshman year and headed to LA to act full time. While she was there, she took classes at [http://www.groundlings.com the Groundlings].

==Joining the LG15 Family==

Because her apartment in LA had no television, Becki and her roommate could only turn to [[YouTube]] for entertainment when they first moved in. They ended up watching a few lonelygirl15 videos, back when they were still considered "real". A few weeks later, [[the Creators]] were [[Down The Rabbit Hole: The Hunt For Bree|revealed on the news]], and a week after that, Becki saw the lonelygirl15 audition notice online and got called in. She waited in a line of 400 people for about two hours, considered leaving, then realized she had nothing better to do that day, and stuck it out. "''I guess that was a good decision on my part :)''" says Becki.

The Creators liked Becki, and even went so far to call her back for three additional auditions. Her third audition was in December of 2006, but it wasn't until five months later that they called her back in for a producers' session. It was during this session that she met and hung out with [[Maxwell Glick]] for the first time. Shortly after this meeting, Taylor made her [[First Video (I know, lame title)|debut]] in April 2007.

During the "in-between" time, when Becki did not believe she would get a job with lonelygirl15, she was cast in the {{wikipedia|Paula_DeAnda|Paula DeAnda}} music video "Walk Away" ({{youtube|PpgRCiBCK2A|watch}}) as one of DeAnda's friends. A few months later, she got roles in the television shows "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Help Me Help You." She also worked for Nickelodeon's "Unfabulous" as a stand-in, a double, and a cameo actor. Shortly thereafter, she served as a stand-in for episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Medium."

==After Joining LG15==

Since appearing as Taylor, Becki has worked on other projects. These include her role as the lead character in the short film ''Misperpetual Motion,'' which will premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2008. Additionally, she participated in another festival short, playing the best friend of the lead in ''The Relationship Theorem,'' which will be shown at the Kids First film festival. She was also seen in an episode of the internet series "[http://www.livevideo.com/realrainproductions A$$ Wipers, Inc.]." The series co-stars [[Sara E. R. Fletcher]], the actress who plays [[Rachel]] in [[Redearth88]].

In January 2008, Becki began volunteering at a riding center similar to the one she worked for in Colorado. She has also re-enrolled at UCSB and plans to graduate in 2009.
