<pre>The reason why it’s LG15 is because the creators actually had 14
girls before Jessica. Here’s what happened to the first 14.

LonelyGirl: Was drinking an Orange Slurpee before filming the first scene.
Some of the Slurpee spilled on the floor. In the middle of filming she
slips on the Slurpee and breaks her neck.

LonelyGirl2: The creators get into an argument about whether it should be
LG1 or LG2. Miles thinks it should be LG2, because it’s the second one.
Mesh thinks it should be LG1 because this is the first one with a number,
and 1 comes before 2. Greg thinks they should use LG101206. There is a lot
of shouting and screaming, and then the pushing starts. The camera gets
knocked on the ground and we only see the current LG fall and break her
neck. No one knows who pushed her.

LonelyGirl3: After settling their argument about how to number LonelyGirl,
Miles wins in a three-way competition of squirrels, nut, man. The current
girl leaves because she doesn’t want to work for a bunch of guys who make
decisions based on squirrels, nut, man.

LonelyGirl4: Dies when the boom mic falls on her head and breaks her neck.

LonelyGirl5: Leaves in the middle of filming when she gets a call from her
agent about an audition for a movie starring opposite Brad Pitt.

LonelyGirl6: Dies when she spills an Orange Slurpee on the keyboard and
electrocutes herself. The Creators no longer allow Orange Slurpees on the
set.

LonelyGirl7: The creators decide to film outside. This was a mistake; LG7
gets hit by a car, the driver was drinking. He was drinking an Orange
Slurpee.

LonelyGirl8: They still try to film outside. They film a scene on a
mountain trail. LG8 is not too bright and could not concentrate on keeping
eye contact with the camera and watching where she is going. She walks off
the trail, falls down a cliff and breaks her neck.

LonelyGirl9: They go back indoors. LG9 dies when she lights the candles
next to Aleister Crowley, knocks over one of the candle, starts a fire and
gets killed when Mile, Mesh, and Greg run out of the room and close and
lock the door behind them. They explain to the fire department that they
closed the door to keep the fire from spreading and forgot about the girl
inside. They had no explanation for locking the door.

LonelyGirl10: They go back to filming outside while the room is being
repainted. LG10 gets struck by lightning during filming. The creators stop
filming until the room is repainted.

LonelyGirl11: The creators discover that LG11 used to do porn. They don’t
want to associate this with porn so they fire her. Miles was against this
but conceded since he won the argument over the numbering.

LonelyGirl12: This incident is still under litigation and all partied have
been put under a gag order by the presiding judge.

LonelyGirl13: Skipped this number. The Creators are superstitious.

LonelyGirl14: Let’s just say someone made the mistake of bringing an
Orange Slurpee to the set. </pre>

apparantly theres a ghost in Kansas and...
Boyf: GF!!!!!!!!

Scene 3. Boyfs boss and wife have come over for Xmas drinks.
They stand round the tree, drinks in hand when from acroos the room
they hear a shout.

GF: CHARGE!!!!!!!!!

GF runs through the room dressed in home made armour
(a colindar for a helmet, cheese grater for shield, ladel for sword)
she exits through opposite door.

Boyf: ahem… er it appears General Firstsayer has had another call to arms… </pre>

The '''Phorum''' was the name of the original Web forums on [[Bukanator]]'s original fan site at [[lonelygirl15.com]]. Phorum was the name of the software used to power the message boards, which debuted on July 16, 2006. The term Phorum was used somewhat derisively, as the boards were poorly moderated.

During the month of August 2006, fans began to register at the site and discuss the mystery surrounding lonelygirl15. The lonelygirl videos had gotten popular enough that it had become difficult for fans to discuss the videos amid the comments on YouTube. Toward the end of August, hundreds of fans had registered on the Phorum discussion boards. The lonelygirl saga had attracted a wide array of fans, from YouTubers and bloggers, to journalists such as [[Virginia Heffernan]] and [[Richard Rushfield]], people in the entertainment industry, marketers, occultists and others who had been sucked into the [[Down The Rabbit Hole: The Hunt For Bree|the hunt for Bree.]]

Because lonelygirl15.com was known to have been registered on May 12, 2006, before the videos started, most fans assumed that the site was being monitored. Many users at the site were concerned about sock-puppets and trolls who were supposedly posting false information to obscure the truth behind lonelygirl15. This led a group of users, who would come to be known as the [[Phorum 3]] to talk outside the Phorum via instant messages and develop a plan to trace IP addresses. The false-information controversies included a mysterious poster known as "[[t]]", who claimed to know who was behind the lonelygirl15 project, and posted "clues" about Bree's identity starting on August 31, 2006, which all turned out to be false.

As the number of users grew, the Phorum became increasingly unreadable, and flame wars became more common. For example, [[Jessica]] of the Phorum 3 engaged in heated and lengthy debates with impish [[BigManOnCampus333]] over nothing much in particular. Frustrated with Bukanator's lack of moderation, a group of fans set up a new forum, [[The Children of Anchor Cove]], on Sept. 4. Most fans left the Phorum. The administrators of Lonelygirl15.com eventually took down the Phorum and replaced it with more sophisticated forum software.

Many members of The Children of Anchor Cove still refer to the forums at lonelygirl15.com as the Phorum.

To its credit, the Phorum was also where many revelations that eventually led to the outing of the [[the Creators]] and [[Jessica Lee Rose]] were first posted and dissected. That information include: 
* On August 28, poster [[Flwright]], an architect, opined that the videos were filmed in apartment buildings instead of detached single family housing, which turned out to be true. 
* On August 29 a report of a botanist that the Hiking video had likely taken place in central to southern California was posted. This was the first concrete evidentiary link to California. 
* On August 30, the initial findings of the Phorum 3 linking lonelygirl15 to "San Mateo - Mountain View" California were posted, though their methods were kept secret. Also, a poster known as [[Curious Botanist]] also linked the flora in the new Swimming video to southern California. 
* On September 1, poster scdgoofy revealed that Kenneth Goodfried, an attorney in Encino, California, had filed to register lonelygirl15 as a trademark on August 21, 2006.
