These characters made their first appearance at a party that [[Jonas]] and [[Daniel]] attended (featured in [[Uncle Dan]] and [[Uncle Dan (D-Bone Remix)]]. They are probably friends or at least acquaintances of Jonas's aunt, [[Alex]]. Little is known about these individuals, but if Alex's [[Alex Is...|allegiance to the Order]] is any indication, they too might be members of said [[The Order|Order]]. One of these characters was the host of the party, but it is unclear which one it was. Whoever owns the house has [[Lucy!?!?!|a picture of Lucy]] and another woman on display, indicating that Alex and at least one other person at the party are involved with [[the Order]].

==David==
David appears at the party wearing a chocolate-colored shirt. He takes Alex aside to talk to her and yells something about Daniel being "19 years old, for Christ's sake" before getting splashed by Alex's drink. There is speculation that he may be Alex's ex-husband.

==Damien==
Damien made a comment about Jonas being cute and sexy, and is therefore most likely gay. The Danielbeast version of "Uncle Dan" confirms that Damien was openly flirting with Jonas. Jonas was obviously very uncomfortable with Damien's advances, which ended many fans' speculation about Jonas being gay.

Carl is another Party guest. Right before Jonas and Daniel left, he tried to talk to Daniel about something, before getting pushed away by Jonas and Alex. The [[Uncle Dan (D-Bone Remix)]] video reveals that he was angry because Daniel interrupted a conversation between him and his girlfriend [[#Sonia|Sonia]] earlier.

OpAphid’s videos are layered to say the least.
There is the surface message of the written and spoken text, the deep meaning of the text and then the text and audio that takes homework (ex. Backwards audio and hieroglyphs).
 
In addition to the custom logo, at the end of each video there is a false ending which appears as if the video has ended and gone to the related video links but then returns to the real video again before ending.
 
OpAphid uses video tags that often match Bree's or Cassie's.

==Controversy==
Not everyone is a fan of OpAphid's Puppet Masters.
 
The answer (phone number) to the [[Set of Five]] puzzle was kept secret for the first few hours after it was solved (at the request of OpAphid). We are told it was done to maintain the experience for those who wished to solve the puzzle themselves and earn the "well done" first heard upon calling the phone number. This left a bad taste in the mouths of many, both new players who don't understand why people aren't giving out the answers and veterans who aren't used to a PM who locks down their game to quite this level.
 
OpAphid has since stated that if there are to be any other "grace periods" on revealing the solution to a future puzzle, they will be limited to a span of 2-4 hours. Recent puzzles have had no such restrictions.

==Gamejacking ==
OpAphid has taken credit for [[gamejacking]] Cassie's voice mailbox. Evidence in the video, [[Cassie Does Not R.I.P. (Rest In Peace)]] proves she had the passcode, and complete control of the mailbox.
