= Introduction=

Iris2009 is a [[Revver]] user who has produced in-character video replies in response to [[Bree]] and her saga. In the majority of his videos, Iris2009 shares advice with the the official characters while sharing his own story.

An example of his in-character exploits can be found in his video [http://one.revver.com/watch/120414 So I Was Caught], in which he explains that he was caught in the backyard of a man who forced him to eat habanero peppers. What was very curious to viewers is the fact that this man looked and sounded very much like Iris2009, leading viewers to speculate that this man was, in fact, Iris2009's brother. In another video, [http://one.revver.com/watch/130137 Merry Belated Christmas!], he offers [[Bree]], [[Daniel]] and [[Jonas]] a place to stay. This offer led to more viewer speculation about the accommodations he was actually offering, as earlier in the same video, Iris states that he bought a tent in which to sleep and planned to set it up in a field. Some viewers wondered satirically what the scene would look like if the lg15 characters actually took Iris up on his offer. Some painted an amusing yet uncomfortable image of Daniel, Jonas, and Bree crammed into a 2-man tent with Iris and his habanero peppers.

For his videos, Iris2009 records himself, which accounts for the unsteady camera work, especially in videos where he is walking and talking. Iris2009 is an earnest fan who has shown determination despite some viewers' reactions. One such example of a seemingly disparaging comment came in reference to his video "I Wanna Tell You Something, Bree..." in which a [[Revver]] user stated that Iris2009's video was "too weird to be official!" This has neither discouraged him nor diminished his eagerness to share his dream of becoming an official part of the lg15 series. Although it is highly improbable that this dream will be fulfilled, Iris2009 continues making videos and responding to the official story. Iris2009 does not hide the fact that he holds fast to his lonelygirl15 dream. In his video "Daniel, Good Job," in which he shows a glimpse of a building that had some similarities to the building that Daniel broke into during [[Breaking And Entering]], it seems unlikely to viewers that this is the same building. However, Iris works hard to imply that this building demonstrates a connection to the official story. Someone was following Iris- he assumed since he was a hacker that it was the gov't and took it as a compliment. In Feb. 2007 someone put some surveillance footage of him on the internet and he realized it wasn't the gov't. after all. Because of the timing he realized it might be about the last system he hacked, which was the warehouse that Daniel found the epogen at. The files were decrypted so he went back to see if he could crack them. After the gang was kidnapped Daniel took to the forum to research the drugs they were given. Iris remembered seeing the drug names from a document in a file he decrypted. The document turned out to be an invoice and he reported back to us. He has other documents but apparently can't make sense of them.

Allegedly on December 20, 2006 in a lonelygirl chatroom, he was even observed stating that he would eat habanero peppers until he "makes canon." Nonetheless, Iris2009 is a man on a mission and a man with a dream, continuing to produce his exploits and responses on video while trying to gain the notice of the lg15 producers.

Dr. Immant's videos have provided a glimpse into the inner workings of the Order. In addition to offering some background on it's foundation in astrology the videos reveal a rift between the two political affiliations within the Order, the Reformists and the Traditionalists. The Order's purpose, traditions and ceremonies, religious structure, astrological influences and yes it's values are common ground for both. They differ really in terms of the philosophy in which the Order should run it's operations.

These prominent members of the Reformists can then ascend into some of those leadership positions. This is predestined. The stars have always governed everything the Order does and this is no different. As the elders die off it will be the stars who determine who will ascend to their positions. The real battle is to win these would be high ranking officials over to your chosen political affiliation before they ascend. Perhaps the next to ascend will be a Reformist or perhaps that day will never come. Either way, to go against this process would be to go against one of the Order's most fundamental beliefs and thus there are harsh penalties against those who would interfere with members predestined to ascend to positions of power within the Order. These members are protected just as any other high ranking official of the Order. This is why the Tradionalists and Reformists can't kill each other off.

Also, in [[The Ceremony]], [[Daniel]] films a bald man who perhaps bears some resemblance to Immant, but Immant claims in his "[[We do not wish to make enemies, only friends.]]" video that while he was at the ceremony, he does not believe that he was spotted there by anyone. Since the [[Denderah|Order of Denderah]] seems to be aware of Daniel's presence at the ceremony, they probably know about the video he took and who does and does not appear in it.

Later, in Bree's video "On the Run," we glimpse a bald man, who was probably the guy at the ceremony. We see his face this time, and he looks nothing like Immant. Obviously there are those out there who would go to extreme measures to find out anything they can about the Order, unfortunately this leads to misinformation. Without getting too much into inter-Order politics I'd like to add that this new policy, while a victory for the reformists within the Order, was narrowly passed. Misinformation leads to speculation and the last thing we want is people to think we worship aliens or something equally outlandish.

The lonelygirl15.com web site has a chat room which is entered via a link on the main page of the website. http://www.lonelygirl15.com

To access the chat you will need the main site login. This will give access to the chat and allow you to comment on the video.

===Bree's Chat===
On November 28 at 6pm PST (2am GMT) Bree was scheduled to ask fans for advice on what she should do next in a longlygirl15 chat room. Users were told that this chat would not take place in the regular "Userplane" chat room but rather in an alternative platform. As the scheduled time approached the lonelygirl15 web site began to function slower and slower and at times was essentially inoperable. The link the the new chat room never became operable. Users began to migrate to the normal "Userplane" chat room and as rooms filled up additional ones were created. Essentially this meant that the lonelygirl15 characters who participated (Bree, Jonas and Gemma) could only interface with participants in one of the rooms.

===How to Use the New Chat===
Community Chat is a Flash based application and will only fully function if you have Macromedia Flash Player v. 8 or a later version installed on your machine.
Chat window consists of 3 main areas: users list, messages area and send a message area.

Users list displays current room users. You can sort users in ascending or descending alphabetical order or by the time they joined the room by clicking a relevant icon. Male and female chatters have different icons displayed next to their usernames. On a left click on a user name in the list user's menu will appear.

Messages area displays chat messages. Each entry contains time, sender name, recipient (for private and personal messages) and message text.
On the top of the message area there are 2 buttons: Chat Rooms and History. If you click Chat Rooms button, a rooms list window where you select the room you wish to join will appear. Clicking History button will allow to view chat history that you can copy to the clipboard.
Send a message area

Here you can send a new chat message as well as use some of chat options.
To send a message just type it into the message box and click "Send" button or just press enter on your keyboard. To insert smiles from a smiles library into your messages click smiles button and choose the one you wish to add.
There are three messaging modes in Community Chat - a message to all users, Personal messages, and Private messages.

To send a message to all users, select All Users from "Send To" drop down list.
To send a personal message, simply select the user from a Send To drop down list or left-click the user's name in the user list and click Send Personal or click the user's name in messages area. Your message will appear in the messages area with a mark [to username].

To send a private message to a certain user, you can select him from the Send To user drop down list and check Private checkbox on the right, or left-click the user's name in the main user list and click Send Private. This message will be visible only to you and the recipient.

If you select a certain user to send him a personal or a private message, you can choose to continue sending your messages to this user only by clicking the lock icon (on the left to "Send to" drop dawn list). If it's locked "Send to" and Private values will remain the same after the message has been sent.

To change the color of your username, click the color selector next to the smilies icon and select any color from the palette.

The clock icon next to color palette selector allows to hide/show message time that displays in the messages area.
User status

The Community Chat supports Online, Away and Personal Only user modes. If Away mode is selected, an away icon will appear next to your name in the users list to notify other Chatters that you are not available at the moment. If you choose Personal Only mode, you will only see the messages sent to you personally (both personal and private).

The original LG15 chat room operateed using an Adobe Flash based web page from Userplane, a company that was recently purchased by America Online (a Time Warner Inc. subsiduary}. The producers of Lonelygirl15 did not benefit financially form this arrangement. Sources such as myspace,friendster, date.com, Honda, and Red Bull use userplane chat services. In order to support the needs of live discussion between fans and characters the producers decided to replace the Userplane solution with software they could control directly.
