'''Beaumont Charles''' is an employee of [[LifesBlood Labs]]. He is the love interest of [[Maggie]], a trait positive girl he is assigned to look after. He risks everything in order to save her from her prison.

==Background==
Beaumont is first seen carrying [[Maggie]] back to her room after she undergoes dialysis. Maggie mentions that Beaumont has shown her kindness, but she is saving that story "for another day". Maggie later clarifies that Beaumont had promised to save her, and that her time with him is what has allowed her to keeping hoping for rescue. Later on, during one of her blood transfusions, Maggie asks where Beaumont is, only to be told that he has been transferred and that she won't "have to worry about him touching [her] again". Maggie is extremely upset by this, and throws a tantrum. Further on in the video Beaumont appears as some sort of janitor and passes Maggie a note under the door saying 'I Will Save You'.

'''Dr. Leonard "Len" J. Alderman''' is the director of medical research at [[Lifesbloodlabs|LifesBlood Labs]]. He has advocated for better quality of life for all peoples, but it remains unclear whether he actually means it.

==Background==
Though raised in the United States, he completed his undergraduate studies at Oxford, consequently earning his masters in the field of gene therapy from the King’s College London school of medicine. He graduated summa cum laude from the program in 1988. Dr. Alderman’s first work began as an associate doctor for a group office in Boston, Massachusetts, where he specialized in immunotherapy technique. He spent the following two years as a senior associate doctor at Preferred Pediatric, in upstate New York, primarily in experimental family care. Dr. Alderman recently moved to Los Angeles to continue his groundbreaking research on the behalf of LifesBlood Labs. His mission is to serve his patients to the best of his ability with unprecedented technique – technique that will hopefully better the natural quality of life for all peoples.

On August 6th, 2008, Alderman was named in a lawsuit filed by [[Verdus Pharmaceuticals]] that claimed that he, along with several other LBL employees, had stolen several unique patents to claim as their own, when in fact they were developed by Verdus, whom they were originally a part of. However, no mention of the lawsuit has been made aside from the press release on the Verdus website.

Dr. Alderman began spreading word of the work of Lifesblood via [[YouTube]], where he first posted [[Hetlevan is Here|a video]] explaining that during the week of August 22nd, Lifesblood has made their first significant breakthrough in the field of regenerative medicine. He described how a Dutch geneticist has discoved a [[trait positive|unique ribozyme]] that has "the power to cure a million of aliments, anything from the common cold to cancer." Lifesblood is currently synthesizing the cells into a liquid compound dubbed "Hetleven". Almost two weeks later, he posted [[Introducing the Lifesblood Labs Strandbox|another video]] describing how Lifesblood has invented a machine that could perform dialysis more safely and more comfortably. He raved about the benefits in would bring, but it was later [[One Evil with Many Faces|revealed]] by footage obtained by the [[Hymn of None]] that Alderman was reading off of a script, and could honestly care less about what he was saying. His dialogue also implies that he has been on the receiving end of the Strandbox, though the reasons as to why remain unknown.

Joshua Hale Fialkov is the creator of the critically acclaimed cult hit Elk’s Run, a graphic novel released by Random House Publishing’s Villard imprint. His other work includes the ecclectic comedy series Punks the Comic, and beloved horror anthology Western Tales of Terror.

Joshua was the winner of Top Cow Publishing’s inaugural Pilot Season program, wherein 1.5 million people voted for his refresh of Top Cow character Cyblade. A new Cyblade series following up on the pilot starts in the Fall. He’s taking part in Pilot Season 2, writing Alibi alongside artist Jeremy Haun. He has been the translator of many volumes of manga, most notably Del Rey’s Princess Resurrection. Joshua also just completed an acclaimed run on Harris Comics’ iconic Vampirella. He has written for companies including Marvel, Wildstorm, IDW, Dark Horse, Image, Tor Books, Seven Seas Entertainment, Dabel Brothers Productions, and St. Martin’s Press.

Joshua grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, went to college in Boston, were he got a BFA in writing and directing for the stage and screen, and then worked in the New England film industry, until finally deciding to move to Los Angeles to do it properly. Joshua lives with his wife (who happens to be his one true love), Christina, who’s a Librarian and Historian of both Film and California. They live with their instruments (both musical and otherwise), his comics & dvd’s, her books and movie memorabilia, and their two cats, Smokey and The Bandit.
