(answers mobile phone) Hey man, what's up? You here? There. They're here. Is that your truck? That is rad. (opens door) What's up guys?

Mark: What's up buddy?

Daniel: You ready to make a movie?

Mark: Let's do this.

Steve: What's up?

Daniel: What's up, dude?

Steve: Yeah.

Daniel: What do you got, man?

Mark: Okay, we got... I borrowed some stuff from my uncle. He did a lot of movies in the 80's.

Daniel: Oh man, the 80's??

Mark: But they're still good, man, it's totally still good. Grab the nun chucks?

Daniel: Yeah, yeah yeah. By the way, guys, this is Sarah. Sarah, the guys, Mark and Steve.

Mark: Hi. I like your shoes.

Sarah: They're boots.

Steve: What you reading?

Daniel: So, let's get the rest of the stuff.

Mark: Um, are the ninjas here yet?

Daniel: Yeah, they'll be here. They're just, uh. They'll be here. (talking lower to Sarah) Sarah, c'mon, that's our crew!

Mark: So, welcome to Daniel's movie. Daniel, how's it coming with the ninjas?

Daniel: It's all right. (talking into phone) Yeah, hold on, let me leave a message... uh.

Mark: He asked me to film this, should be interesting.

Daniel: (to Steve who is setting up lights) Put the light on top, no, over more, over more. And then push the pole back a little bit so we can set it up that way...

(Mallory comes in and attempts to kiss Daniel.)

Daniel: Hurry up, c'mon, go, go, go.

Mark: Dude, Mallory's so fucking hot.

Daniel: Plug it in. Yeah perfect.

Sarah: Daniel?

Daniel: What? What what?

Sarah: Red or black?

Daniel: I don't know. Whatever.

Mallory: I think you should go with the red one.

Sarah: I'm asking the director.

Daniel: Just go with the red!

Sarah: Fine.

Mallory: Are these gonna work?

Daniel: Babe, you look good in anything. C'mon. (hands Mallory some pompoms) Don't forget these.

Mallory: Thanks, okay.

Sarah: They're very fitting.

Daniel: C'mon, hurry up ladies! C'mon! (going outside with a can of spray paint) So, this is gonna be for our ninjas. I mean, this is one of our weapons...it's gonna be their bow, it has to look like wood. (struggles with spray paint lid) Are you kidding me? Argh! Okay, and don't push too hard, cause that's gonna spot, you don't wanna spot. So you know, if it gets that close, see how that looks like crap? So I want you to get in there and kinda give it a like... nice, nice, smooth and... but you don't wanna leave it like that. It's gotta look good, so just go ahead and give it a shot. No no no, not that close man. Look, see? Just... c'mon, man. I'll do it myself. Look, just like that. All right? Okay.

Steve: All right.

Daniel: You got it?

Steve: Got it.

Daniel: (patting Steve on the shoulder) Awesome.

Daniel: (back inside, talking to Mark) Um, I can't get hold of the ninjas, how do you feel about being a ninja? Guys, time is money, c'mon let's get a move on! Yeah!

(Steve and Mark come in dressed in black. Sarah laughs.)

Daniel: Sarah, please. Uh, let's see some ninja moves.

(Steve and Mark kick and hit the air.)

Daniel: Yeah, no, that's good. Yeah, perfect. All right, grab some gear and let's get all suited up. Um... that's... yeah try that.

Mark: Dude.

Daniel: Try it on. No, c'mon, man, try it on. Just get it over your face man! Pull it down!

Mark: Dude, it's made for a ten year old!

Daniel: For the scene! Commit!

Daniel: (walking outside) Look at this! Didn't I ask somebody to paint these? What are we gonna do?

Mark: It's not that big a deal.

Daniel: No, it is a big deal. You know what...

Mark: (exasperated) Daniel! Why don't you do it?

(Cut back to inside. Daniel is showing Mallory and Sarah their scene.)

Daniel: You, what I want you to is actually pick up this ba... you know what, let's get this going... hold on, just listen ... just listen to me, and you pretending like you're listening, so you give her a like ... kind of like a ...

Sarah: Just tell me what to do, you don't actually have to act it out for me.

Daniel: What, why?

Sarah: I'm just saying, it'll be more natural.

Daniel: Okay, whatever, just do it. Do it. And, action! Action!

Sarah: I'm actioning!

Mallory: That has, like, a lot of calories in it.

Daniel: Cut! That was awesome, that was great.

Mallory: Wait, I have like another line there.

Daniel: I'm sorry, I didn't even know. Okay, you know what? It was great though, we'll just pick it up from there, we'll just start over. And more! More cream cheese. Pick up the bagel, all right? Pick up the bagel, not like that, just pick it up, like under here, under here. C'mon! Geez.

Sarah: Do you wanna do it??

Daniel: Just put the bagel down, you know, just put it down.

Sarah: Why don't you just do it?!

Daniel: You know what your motivation is? Just do it, that's what your motivation is.

Daniel: We're rolling?

Steve: Yep, rolling.

Daniel: Action!

(Cut to Daniel eating a slice of pizza.)

Daniel: Dude, grab some pizza, you don't have to film right now, man, go ahead.

(Cut to Daniel whispering to Mallory.)

Daniel: (to Steve) I don't know man, it's been an issue. I think we should change it.

Steve: I think the onboard mic has been doing pretty good right now.

Daniel: I don't think so, man.

Mallory: Hey Daniel? Can I talk to you for just a second?

Daniel: Yeah, what's up?

Mallory: I just wanted to say that I think you're doing a really great job. But also, I feel that the characters need to have more depth. I mean I know you're trying to make a statement about stereotypes and everything, but I think that it would really help the project.

Daniel: Yeah, I know. I think it's really great that you're bringing that up. We'll try it once your way and once mine. How about that? Is that cool for you?

Mallory: Yeah.

Daniel: Thanks, baby. (kisses his finger and touches her nose)

Mallory: Okay. (he walks away, and she has a look of hurt and disappointment)

Daniel: (to Sarah) Uh, you wanna get off the phone, maybe? I don't know, we're trying to work here? Just, we're doing this? Just, whatever. Anyways...

Sarah: Sorry...

(Cuts to a shot of Mark filming, as Daniel and Sarah are engaged in a kissing scene. They stare into each other's eyes.)

Daniel: Cut! (turns to Mark) How was it, man? Was it good?

Mark: It was good.

Daniel: It looked good?

Mark: Yeah, yeah.

Daniel: (approaching Mallory, who is sitting on the couch) What's wrong?

Mallory: Nothing.

(Daniel attempts to kiss her, but she turns away.)

Mark: (v.o. as we cut to next scene) Let's go find Daniel...

(Mark approaches a back room, where Daniel and Sarah are having a discussion in hushed tones.)

Sarah: All I'm saying is you could have avoided this by telling the truth.

Daniel: Are you crazy? That's gonna make it a hundred times worse. How would you know?

Sarah: All I'm saying is there's a reason you decided to kiss me instead of her...

Daniel: What?!

Sarah: ...and there's a reason that you're not telling her the truth. What we really need you to do right now is looking for Jonas and Emma, okay? So, you just need to be honest.

Daniel: Uh... look who's talking!

Sarah: What is that supposed to mean?

Daniel: What do you think that's supposed to mean, Sarah? I have to finish up this movie, A; B, I don't even know where they are, so why don't you do me a favor, go out there so we can finish this up, them we can do other things too, huh?

Daniel: I think that's a wra-- (looks around) Where's Mal?

Daniel: What?? (goes to front door, opens it and leans out) Mal! (closes door, walks back to where Sarah is) Sarah!

Introduction
Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) (last name rhymes with "holy") was a figure in late 19th and early 20th century occultism. Bree has a picture of him on the wall of her bedroom (above her bookcase, to the left of her door), leading many to assume that her religion is affiliated in some way with Thelema.

Crowley grew up in a strict Plymouth Brethren family where his mother sometimes referred to him as the "Beast of Revelations". After his father's death, he became disillusioned with his religious upbringing and began to explore alternative religions. This eventually led him to discover magick and The Golden Dawn.

Crowley and Arthur Edward Waite (1857-1942) were associates in the early days of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, but became rivals after the destruction of the Golden Dawn. After leaving to found rival organizations (Crowley the A.: A.: (Argenteum Astrum) and Waite the Fellowship of the Rosy Cross), the men mocked each other in published works.

Crowley's life largely consisted of exploring the far reaches of the once great British Empire, studying various forms of Vajrayana Buddhism, theosophy, occultism, ceremonial magick, and ancient ritual. He incorporated these into his own comprehensive methodology in an extensive body of literature consisting of poetry, prose, essays, and syncretized occultism.

Dubbed the "Wickedest Man in the World" by the British yellow press, Crowley is perhaps best known for his seemingly contradictory but esoterically linked instructions called the Law of Thelema: "Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under Will". Sometimes taken erroneously to mean do what you want, he published several statements explaining the meaning of the Law and how it does not equate to that. He is also associated with the number 93, since qabalistically love and will both enumerate to 93, thus it is shorthand for the Law of Thelema.

In 1920 he and a small group of followers moved to Cefalu, in Sicily, where they attempted to establish a Thelemic monastery called "The Abbey of Thelema". In his Confessions, he wrote of life in this first Thelemic monastery.

Aleister Crowley has had an influence on Rock and Roll music although none of this music is used in the music of the lonelygirl15 production. There are many connections between Jimmy Page of the rock band Led Zeppelin and Aleister Crowley.

In the video Aleister Crowley, Daniel reads a story from an unspecified Arizona newspaper that associates Crowley with an abduction in 1943. However, Crowley never lived in Arizona nor owned a house there, so the reference was complete fiction.

Crowley's birthday is October 12, which was the date of the fake ceremony that Lucy used to trick Daniel. The occasion is casually celebrated by modern Thelemites under the title of Crowleymas, typically with curry, wine and lots of mirth.

Aleister Crowley and Bree
The reason that Aleister Crowley has attracted so much attention is that Bree has a picture of him as part of what some describe as a "shrine" in her bedroom.

This screenshot from the A Change In My Life video clearly shows the "shrine" in the context of Bree's bedroom. (The image has been digitally enhanced to show the area with the "shrine " more clearly). Bree has never referred to Crowley directly but she has make several references to her religion

Ordo Templi Orientis
The Ordo Templi Orientis was founded by German freemason and mystic Carl Kellner. It was continued after his death by Theodor Reuss, who initiated Aleister Crowley and made him its head in Great Britain. Crowley made the OTO the first organization to accept the Law of Thelema, which is expressed as "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law."

After Reuss's death, Aleister Crowley took over the Ordo Templi Orientis as Outer Head of the Order (OHO). He served in that capacity until his death. However, after his death, there was some dispute over who Crowley had named to become his successor. These matters were taken up in court and Hymaneus Alpha (Grady McMurtry) was decided to be the true OHO. The others who thought they should have been named were not satisfied with the rulings so went on to establish their own factions of the OTO even though they are prevented from calling themselves the OTO in the United States where the rulings were decided. However, these factions still contest the legitimacy of the OTO's succession from Crowley.

Magick
Thelemapedia.org describes Magick as " any act designed to cause intentional change. This term is often spelled with a terminal "k" to differentiate it from other practices, such as "stage magic"". It also states that "Aleister Crowley saw magick as the essential method for a person to reach true understanding of the self and to act according to one's True Will" Many people believe that Bree's ritual will involved a ficticious ceremony drawn in part at least from one of Crowleys real ceremonies.

People Crowley knew
Among the influential contemporary religious leaders that Crowley knew are Israel Regardie
Jack Parsons, and Allan Bennett. Crowley knew of L. Ron Hubbard, but there is no evidence they knew each other personally; only through Parsons.

No, according to that, Crowley had the Stele of Revealing translated from Egyptian...NOT the Egyptian Book of the Dead. The Egyptian Book of the Dead was not the only work ever translated from Egyptian to English. You really need to actually read the material you are quoting and actually follow up on the quotes. --Tannhaus 01:35, 1 December 2006 (CST)

:I have no problem leaving the book of the dead off the Crowley page for now. I need to read up a little on the subject like you suggest. I do however think the book of the dead is a very interesting topic for discussion.--modelmotion 01:22, 2 December 2006 (CST)

:As for the Cake of Light comment in your article, what we have is a direct quote from Wikipedia, if thats wrong perhaps you can get them to change the soucre material and we can change the quote accordingly.--modelmotion 01:29, 2 December 2006 (CST)

But, the simple fact is that Crowley had nothing to do with translating the book of the dead. Crowley did not know Egyptian. When the Stele of Revealing was translated, he had to pay the curator at the Bulaq museum to translate it for him....and that's just a small egyptian tablet.

As far as the cake of light comment, you added the quotes after I made my change it appears. But, while the source material was not wrong on that quote, I just added to the information. --Tannhaus 11:51, 2 December 2006 (CST)
I'm editing out the geneology section. It was part of an April Fool's joke. It has no basis in fact and is not seriously considered by anyone, as evidenced by the blog that the original statement referenced: http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2006/11/lonelygirl15-crowley-bush-and-more.html

:Now that we've been working on a Theories and Speculation category, a Moonchild article in place of that section would probably be more suitable. However, the section provides no info on the Moonchild or any other reasons why fans speculated that it could have any connection with Bree's ceremony. I'd investigate into that... if there are no other reasons, I'd say the connection is too weak to really merit an article, in which case the section should just be removed. ::I agree that this connection is too weak. It was rather far-fetched speculation at the time--there were no clues beyond references to Crowley to suggest anything of the kind.
