On Friday August 29, 2008 a video was posted on LG15.com from a youtube user called reedabook99 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW8VDFwYuZQ] as part of "Community Appreciation Week". Wow. Didn’t mean to cause a stir. But seriously, this means a lot — the fact that all this ‘is he or isn’t he’ talk is going on.

Hate to break it to you guys, but I’m just a dude who cribbed the lg15 editing style because… frankly, I’m not that original. And trust me, the editing took FOREVER.

I’m sort of overwhelmed by all the nice things though, I think I might… yup, I feel the tears… I’m definitely crying… it’s a good cry [http://www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15/?p=688#comment-427802]

Upon Reed's admitting his non-canon status, a small group of loyal fans began the Reedite Movement To Make Reed Canon, which is still in current practice.

Some of the prominent members of the Facebook Group [http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=24631713138&ref=mf] includes Miles Beckett and Greg Goodfried.

As I stated in the Deletion tag, I think the same logic with regards to fanfiction/user generated content that was so greatly discussed be applied here. It seems its chief architect abandoned the project, like many creators of content, leaving a rotting corpse. But unlike fanfiction which ADDED to the Pedia. This whole discussion has resulted in nothing but wasted time..and effort that could have gone into creating a much richer and broader reference material for this EXTENDED community of which we are all a part. Having been here from the EARLY days..I can tell you..this was intended to be about INCLUSIVITY and not Exclusivity. This whole project has done nothing to foster greater belonging..and it has done EVERYTHING it suggested that User Generated content did..Clutter the pedia..with half completed projects..spread out over multiple pages...a sprawl that almost no fanfiction could compete with. It also has resulted in the VERY unsightly creation of many tags and notes at the top of the pages...that pervade the Pedia..and encourage new editors to NOT post..because their work very well may be discard. So... Do I have any seconds? Seems I was seconded before I finished...
