Must they pronounce everything wrong! I cringed everytime they said Hathor. Hah-Thor. And Crowley. Crow-lee.

Shoot, you don't even call a native of New Zealand a "New Zealander" like you would an Australian from Australia -- you would refer to them as a "Kiwi." Even ''I'' know that. Did anyone else notice the face that appears in the window throughout the video? Maybe it is just from the light but I can distinctly see a pair of eyes. Some people on youtube commented about it and I was curious if someone else noticed and thought it suspicious?

Is Daniel in on this capture? It seems odd that Bree never mentions him at all. She just talks about holding Jonas captive...

Danielbeast), and queen of the "Proving Science Wrong" skits, the backstory of this vivacious young homeschooler has been shrouded in much mystery, each episode revealing bits and pieces of her life and the current situations she is facing. Much speculation has been put forth in the viewing community about a [[Bree%27s_religion|religion]] she is shady to speak openly about, a mysterious ceremony in the near future she has been chosen to be a participant of, and the current conflict surrounding Daniel, her parents, and her religion.

==Family==
Not much is known about Bree's family, but it has been implied in the episodes that her parents are very strict. In a recent episode Bree revealed that her [[Bree's Mother|Mother]] and [[Bree's Father|Father]] met in London during the intermission of the play '[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosencrantz_%26_Guildenstern_Are_Dead Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead]'. Apparently the two got into a heated argument about the central theme in the play, and in the words of Bree, her father was "smitten like a kitten". Her parents are strictly religious. This is one reason that Bree is homeschooled. In the video, [[Learning To Drive]], Bree tells [[Daniel]] that her parents are not [[Order of Dendera]], presumably a reference to her [[Bree's religion|Religion]].

According to Bree, she was born in America, and moved to New Zealand when she was eight years old. While there, her family lived in a commune next to a small town. At age ten, Bree's family visited the Northern Territory of Australia. At the age of twelve, they moved to Nottinghamshire England, and resided there for two years. After England, they finally settled down in their home in the United States.

==School==
Bree has mentioned many times that she is homeschooled, but she has referenced in episodes that she previously attended traditional public schooling at least two times. First in New Zealand, where she was pulled from public schools after her parents witnessed the lack of discipline and again in the United States. In school she made two friends, [[Cassie]] and [[Daniel]]. Cassie was uncomfortable with Bree's religion and stopped hanging out with her after she left public school. Daniel and Bree stayed best friends.

Bree's parents pulled her out when she became the subject of ridicule, rumors, and hostilities from fellow classmates. In [[Poor Pluto]] Bree says that students made fun of her for asking too many astronomy questions in a science class. They started calling her [[Stargirl]] and when she continued asking questions they suggested she was having a relationship with the teacher. Daniel later said in [[I Want to Take Bree to a Party!]] that he did not think the teasing was that big of a deal. Bree has remarked in comments to her YouTube videos that she'd like to go back to public school.

She seems to be interested in astronomy, quantum physics, history, and evolution (another possible hint to her family's profession). Her studies are quite advanced for a secondary education level.

==Relationship with Daniel==
Daniel befriended Bree about the time she was being made fun of at school. She said in the video [[Daniel Crossed The Line]] that she sat at a lunch table by herself for a week until Daniel asked her if she wanted to sit with him.

After Bree left school, she and Daniel remained friends. Daniel introduced Bree to YouTube, where she became a fan of many of the bloggers, especially [[Paytotheorderofofof vs. Dinosaur| Paytotheorderofofof]]. In YouTube comments, Daniel says that he registered the Web site lonelygirl15.com when he was teasing Bree about how famous she would become if she had a video blog.

Bree started blogging in [[First Blog / Dorkiness Prevails]], with a Logitech Web cam. Daniel edited her videos with Adobe Premier and eventaully taught Bree how to use the software herself.

Bree and Daniel have gotten into 4 fights over the course of their video blogs, which seem to be always related in some way to [[Bree's religion]], the nature of which Daniel does not seem to know.
* In [[My Parents Suck...]], Bree's parents discouraged her from going on a hike with Daniel. They also wouldn't let her go to his graduation party. Bree hints that it has something to do with her parents' beliefs. In [[Daniel Responds]] he said he was frustrated, but after her parents let them go hiking, the argument subsided.
* In [[My Parents... Let Us Go Hiking!!!]] Daniel creates a very charming video of Bree on their hike. Many viewers asked Bree if Daniel liked her. She confronted Daniel about this, and he said he did like her. In the video [[Boy Problems...]] she said that she just doesn't feel that way about Daniel. Daniel was hurt, and responded angrily in the video [[Girl Problems...]] After bickering for a few days via YouTube comments, they reconciled and made the video [[He Said, She Said]].
* After the video [[The Tolstoy Principle (and Dad "talks" to Daniel)]] Bree becomes agitated that Daniel will not tell her what they discussed. This leads to a fight about her religion.
* At the end of the video [[Learning To Drive]], Bree and Daniel get into a shouting match about something Daniel had said off camera. The argument was about [[Bree's upcoming ritual]]. Bree asks Daniel to drive her home. In her next video [[The Equinox]], Bree tells Daniel that she can't go to a special dinner he had planned because she was going to a religious ceremony with her parents. In [[How Could You?]] Daniel asks Bree to meet him at the park. When Bree gets to the park, Daniel says her religion is getting in the way of their relationship. They have not reconciled from this fight.

==Other Friends==

During the latest enrollment at public school, she befriended a young woman named [[Cassie|Cassie]], who was in Daniel's class (although he doesn't recognize the name). Bree says that everyone made fun of Cassie and that they used to walk around the track together. They initially spent time together, but Cassie was uncomfortable with Bree's religion. After Bree returned to homeschooling, she and Cassie stopped spending time together.

At a party, Bree met Daniel's Friends [[Paul|Paul]] and [[Andrea|Andrea]]. She liked them a lot and the foursome made plans to go bowling together. It is unclear if they actually went bowling.

In preparing for her ceremony, Bree began spending time with [[Lucy|Lucy]], her "helper". Lucy is a member of her religion, like a counselor, and has helped Bree prepare for her ceremony.

Bree's stuffed animal friends are [[Purple_Monkey|P. Monkey]], [[Owen]], and [[Thor]], and she utilizes them as puppets or props in various episodes. She also has a hot pink feather boa she is quite fond of.

==Other==
Bree is played by [[Jessica Lee Rose]], and her well-sculptured eyebrows were a major source of speculation about whether she was real or an actress before the actress's true identity was revealed.

Bree's journeys from her birth in America, moving to New Zealand in early childhood and coming back to America in her teens also mirrors that of Jessica Rose's travels (and explains her occasional accent).
