At the beginning of the [[KateModern]] storyline, Kate is dating Tariq. The two seem happy until Kate tells him that [[A Friendly Lie|her name really isn't Kate]]. Kate then has some memory loss and seeks the help of Steve. Tariq is uneasy about the connection between Steve and Kate, and when he finds out that Steve is in the Hymn of One he becomes angry. Tariq then confronts and [[Tariq Attack|hits Steve]], then storms off. After a [[Walk of Shame|small break]] from the group, Tariq reappeared at [[Carnaby Street, Saturday 18th August, 10AM|Carnaby Street]], frantic and worried about Kate. Since that day, and the confirmation that Steve was not who he claimed to be, the two were closer than ever before.

Soon though, Kate started being [[Who Watches The Watcher?|stalked]] by a [[Watcher]], which worried Tariq. His worry increased when [[Dudley]] came and left a secret message for her. He, Kate, and Charlie went to [[Girl Power|meet up with Dudley]] at a [[Pinchin Street|prearranged location]], however, Kate asked him not to join them. She said that his "knight in shining armor crap" would get in the way. This upset Tariq greatly, causing him to [[The End|break things off]] with Kate.

Kate and Steve's relationship started off when Kate [[A new friend|met him in a library]] after doing some research about her memory loss. He claimed to be there researching the same thing and told Kate that he can help her regain her memory. This new friendship made everyone close to Kate uneasy. It was later revealed that [[Charlie's party|Steve is a member of the Hymn of One]], this revelation lead Kate to [[Ding Dong|assualt]], [[The Prisoner|tie up and interrogate]] Steve. During his interrogation, Steve reveals that he has been lying about his amnesia and his intentions. After being released, Steve threatened to go the police but [[Gavin]] was able to [[Gavin Steps Up|convince him not to]]. After [[Why?|Kate's disappearance]] Steve declared that he was [[Bless You|concerned about Kate]] and wanted to help Charlie find her.

After Gavin's loyalty was put into doubt by Steve's comment, it was Tariq who found him [[Explain yourself|hiding out in his sister's house]]. Tariq was also able to convince Gavin to do his part in helping Kate find out what happened with the specialist.

Since then, they have been seen going on multiple dates, indicating that they are, in fact, an item.

'''Virgil''' is one of the [[Hymn of One]]'s [[Watcher]]s. He was present at the [[The Ceremony (ritual)#The Staged Ceremony|fake Ceremony]], but given that this was his only appearance in Bree's times, one can assume he wasn't assigned to protect Bree. He is, however, the primary Watcher concerned with [[Emma]]'s well-being, frequently seen fighting whomever he considers the greatest danger to her at the moment.

Virgil is notable for the special relationship he has to Jonas and the TAAG: [[My Fatal Mistake|In the woods]], he revealed to Jonas [[LaRezisto]]'s true identity, what was going on behind the scenes, and what a horrible mistake Jonas had made in trusting [[Claire]]. He also spared the TAAG's life and fought LaRezisto by their side. Suprisingly enough Virgil [[What Happened?|allowed Emma leave with TAAG]], even though he was clearly in control of the situation. On the other hand, he was seen threatening and hunting the gang [[Watch Your Back|multiple]] [[Is This The End?|times]].

Given that Watchers are assigned to protect the Ceremony Girl at all costs, it is likely Virgil realized that the TAAG has no intention to harm Emma, and will, in fact, do everything to protect her. So he uses them as additional protection for his charge, instead of artifically endangering her by fighting people who want to protect her just as much as he does. It will have to be seen whether this leads to moral conflict later on, or if his loyalty is undivided and he'll dispose of the TAAG as soon as his assignment requires it.

==Background==
Virgil first appeared at [[The Ceremony|the Fake Ceremony]], but only in the distance, without being specially noted. His first real encounter with the TAAG was [[Stakeout... With A Girl|when Jonas and Sarah were staking out Carl and Sonia]], quickly followed by them running like hell. [[Robbing the Cradle|The next time they saw him]] basically played out the same way, with the TAAG trying to stalk the Ceremony Baby, being discovered by Virgil, and then being chased by him. Virgil seemed to have met his maker after Claire shot him in the woods when [[Finding Help|Jonas brought Emma to her]], but he returned as soon as Claire was gone (with Emma), [[Watch Your Back|very upset about what Jonas had done]]. He [[My Fatal Mistake|explained to Jonas]] how he had been set up, and that LaRezisto and Claire were even worse than the Order, leading to Jonas trying to get Emma back. Although at first it seemed like Virgil was the enemy once more, with him [[Is This The End?|chasing the TAAG through the streets ''again'']], in the end it was he who [[What Happened?|saved their lives and let them all go to safety]].

Even though not much is known about '''LaRezisto''', we can tell from his/her [[We Reach Out|first video]] that (s)he is a leader of [[The Resistance]]. It appears as if the video is a recruitment for others to battle [[The Order]]. Fans speculate that LaRezisto will play the role of a new [[Tachyon]] figure. Whether or not this character is working with Tachyon remains unknown, but is highly unlikely due to the fact that the [[OpAphid]] ARG is no longer a part of the [[lonelygirl15]] video series. It does not look like the LaRezisto videos are ARG on account that his first video was uploaded to [[Lg15.com]] within the day of signing up for the [[YouTube]] account.

Actually, "La Rezisto" means "The resistance" in the international planed language Esperanto [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto]. Many people think that LaRezisto was Spanish for "The Resistance." However, "resisto" is actually a verb meaning "I resist" and "la" is the feminine definite article, thus LaRezisto makes no sense as it would be literally translated "the I resist." In correct Spanish the name would be "La Resistencia". The real intention of the Creators is unknown.

They have agressive, inhumane bodyguards called [[Shadow|Shadows]] who live on modafinil and steroids . Shadows do not need to sleep, but can only live until the age of 30.
When [[Bree]] completed the [[The Ceremony|the fake ceremony]], Elders were there. Below the Elders are Deacons, who are more community-level figures of authority in the [[Hymn of One]] on [[communes]] that families lived on.

According to [[Alex]], the Shadows never leave the Elders's sight unless given permission, such as in [[Subjects Apprehended]], where a Shadow kidnapped [[BDJ]] in [[Las Vegas]].

For the Ceremony, Bree's blood was transfused into an Elder.
