However, a while back we started trying to cut down on very short articles, mostly because it's easier for users not to have to click on a link just to read a sentence or two about a tangential subject. So going forward, before creating new pages, would you consider including their information wherever it is relevant? (i.e. include some background on the user if they are mentioned in CiW as having done something meaningful.) If there's more than a couple of sentences to say about a particular subject, then it should be included in a separate article.

::I was just bitching to a buddy of mine how little folks know or care about how we got where we are. I've started 3 zillion and 5 articles and I am bumping them up as they go along in other words..some are rather short right now..but TRUST me..I dont say hello in less than 500 words...I am just ADD as hell. . Actually most of these sleuths have done videos. Some fall into the category of just posting slueth info..others do some fan fiction. I am of the opinion..if they have a video..it gets a page..unless its a straight response video. I can always combine later. I am trying to watch the pages I am starting and am mindful of bringing them back in down the road..right now..there is just SOOOOO MUCH to the story that is lacking. What we have to remember is that WE are the story in the forums..if we spent weeks chatting about something..thats something that should be chronicled. I am gonna start whoring into my old forum posts of various subjects if they still exist..they are fun..hah.As to the places..I don't see myself doing too many pages like the [[Azusa]] page..it just hit me..thats a pretty damn important place and there have been a TON of people that filmed there. As is the playground. Usually you may see some new article from me with a few lines and think..wow..what a waste of space..but often I have a lot more in my gourd for that page. Also..I am LINK HAPPY as hell..but what I usually will do is link out to a regular wikipage. Just bear with me for a bit..I got a ton of stuff rattling around this damn noggin of mine and I am just organizing it as I remember...fillin in details later. Thanks so much for your help with that! It seems like the moment I leave the wiki and go get other stuff done, this kinda crap has to happen. The fastest way you can revert is outlined here: [[LGPedia:Reverting vandalism]]. You're right though, sysops have a "rollback" feature that basically is like a one-click revert. After realizing everything that person did the same to every page, I checked their user contributions and clicked each one that was left. There was no "rollback" link next to the ones you fixed. What it's also really helpful for is knowing that we reverted everything they did. If I look at their contribs, I see no rollback links anymore. Victory! LG422, let me be blunt with you for once. Maybe it's the only way you understand things. You (yes, you) said LG15 was supposed to be all about fanfiction and you wanted to see more support, and how these series were each a chance to ''support'' fanfiction, not brush it aside. I cannot believe how ''unsupportive'' you have been of the LL series, regardless of how self-promoting you think the article is. Never even mind the fact that you've been working on your series' article to your heart's content--nominate it for an FA if you feel like it. Maybe a free publicity won't sound so bad if it's for you. No one will be as "blunt" (HA, try ''crude'', or maybe ''deprecating'') as you have been to these people. I cannot believe how you will flip out over a YourMomIsSmarmy page not getting enough so-called support, and then waltz over there and bash those people and the series that they like. Did it ever even '''occur''' to you that you could provide some kind of '''useful''' bluntness that would have actually made the article acceptable to you and more feature-worthy? Or heck, say you prefer GC and get on with it--without giving them all that other crap. 
You're a good editor: you know a lot about the series, you're committed, and you actually care enough to take the time to revert vandalism. However, your people skills are wayyyy lacking over here. I know it's hard with the whole "people are planning my death" scenario, but you sound more like a middle-school kid who still thinks it takes mad skillz to be rude.

I'm thinking I'm going to make four userboxes, one for users that have made a single video, one for users who have made "a few fan videos", one for users with "a lot of fan videos", and one for those who will call themselves a "Video Whore". I'd love to hear suggestions for whose pictures to put in the other userboxes. So basically if we were to 'Venn diagram' LL, it'd be a circle within the circle of GC within the cirlce of OpAphid, which in the scheme of things is still a relatively small circle within Lonelygirl15 itself. Featuring it would basically be nothing more than a way to publicise this not very well-known fanfic... but in order to understand LL you'd have to be someone who has been watching GC and presumably at least some of her hoard of additional characters, and in order to be a GC watcher you already would have had to be an OpAphid follower. It's just far too specific. There are other fanfics (for example LO as previously mentioned) which are level one spin-offs, all you need to know is lonelygirl itself to follow it, while LL is like at least three levels down from that (4th degree or so- I just made that term up.) I'm sorry if I caused any confusion by putting the nomination back on. Since it was from an anonymous IP, I didn't realize it was taken off by the same person who nominated it. That being said, I think we've missed the point of Featured Articles in this debate. A feature is meant to bring attention to a well-written article that probably would not get as much attention otherwise. Call it free publicity--fine, that's actually what it is.
The LL page is actually much improved and I wouldn't be so against featuring it, provided we modified the introduction so as to be very very clear to the newbies what LL's role is in this whole thing. We don't have much on the queue for Featured Article right now. We're currently featuring Lonelygirl362436 to highlight the attention that LG15 has gotten from Epic Movie, and next we were planning on possibly featuring Nikki Bower or Alli D., in light of her recent "unveiling" by Milowent. HSA is also nominated, but it's not ready. Having said that... I don't think we need to be so exclusive about our FA.
I do admit however, that featuring GuillotineCalamity would probably make more sense. We can still link to LL as one of the related articles in the Main page blurb while GC is being featured (kinda like Mr. Seal is mentioned in the lonelygirl362436 blurb). One of the often mentioned theories revolved around Bree and the Moonchild concept. There have been two pervasive main themes withing these theories. The first was that it would be attempted during the [[Ceremony]] to impregnate [[Bree]] with a '''Moonchild'''. The second theory was that [[Bree]] was herself a '''Moonchild'''.

The usage of the moonchild term in relation to the Lonelygirl15 story stems from a lot of loosely based conjecture on the part of a number of forum posters and a series of events that were occurring at the time leading up to the [[ceremony]]. There was no solid link to the LG15 series and the Moonchild concept. With the coming of Crowleymas(October 12th), the anticipated date for the ceremony and anti-climatic nature of the day resulting from a faked ceremony, the Moonchild theory has grown even farther from "reality" than the Moon itself is from the Earth. The Moonchild concept has however, made its way into Lonelygirl15 Fanfiction and response videos.

The Moonchild concept goes into what has transpired in the past. One purpose of the LGpedia was to be a reference source for many of ideas we had come across instead of having to wade through 500 pages of forum to find something when you recollect something. The fact that OwenisCool has started some work on a speculation section..At the very least the idea of a moonchild is something that took up a pretty fair amount of discussion on the forums during your absence from them. It is something that I find myself having to explain when someone watches my secrets of denderah revealed video. They go into the history of what we theorized the ceremony might actually be about. That is something that I intended to write in the page. For some of us it has become a part of our vernacular that we find others say "HUH?" in response to. The Babalon Working of the sort that John Parsons and L. R Hubbard attempted with Parsons wife is an attempt at creating a "moonchild" type being. I haven't had the chance go dig through the forums and get some of our reasons for this theory...though I intended to attempt it. There was the name calling of Bree by her school peers of the name "Stargirl"..Stargirl..moonchild..those are not real HUGE leaps from one name to the other as both would seem fitting for some otherwordly ethereal being. It doesn't mean that Bree IS any of these things or will bear any of these things..only that we have thought it possible that SOMEONE in the Order believed it. Powerful successful people have followed beliefs as equally wild. When we are dealing with a lot of conspiracy theories and a group that very well may be Illuminati, wild theories are the ORDER of the day. I know I have read some REALLY wild theories that eventually were debunked and included in the discussion to help show the evolution of thought. HomeSchoolers Aggregate Online is a fan creation that began in October 2006 with some short, text based “advertisements” for an online program for home schooled students. The videos shared the strict rules that participants need to follow in order to remain in the program. Many viewers questioned the relationship of these videos and the [http://hsao.net/ HSA website] to the Lonelygirl15 production. Fans soon realized that the videos and site were an independent production that ran parallel to Bree’s story. Some viewers speculated that Bree was a former participant of the program due to HSA's strict policies. Others speculated that it was a cult, trying to lure students to enroll. As it turned out, HSA was a game that followed the idea of immersive fiction more that a traditional ARG. The HSA offered no dead-drops or computer codes to break. To participate in HSA, students need to register by the deadline and complete written tasks that often help them find the password to the class notebook, a password-protected message forum. Since HSA discourages students from interacting or socializing, the message forum is the place where students leave the answers to their “assignments.” Assignments range from replying to philosophical theories, making personal connections to philosophical ideas, responding to specific pieces of art, and even, creating and sharing one’s own art work.

Students find the assignments posted on the website. Videos either reinforce a lesson’s focus, provide insight to an area of examination or offer clues to the participants to figure out the assignment’s password. At HSA, when students solve the password and are ready to post their answer in the notebook, they are said to “Bring It” to the notebook. Students who are interested are free to post their own in-character blogs that link off the HSA website.

The head of school is a woman known as Rose Marie Crandall Crowley Kelly, who is married to Phillip Crowley (no relation to Aleister). She is a very strict, yet supportive instructor who encourages her students to do their best. She expects students to follow her rules without question, and those who have questioned her have had their IP addresses banned from the site. Assignments receive responses from Ms. Kelly and student work is exhibited on the website.

Throughout each term, a back story emerges involving Ms. Kelly’s exploits and those who seem to trying to undo for reasons that remain unclear. The website offers clues, additional character blogs and links. At the end of the term, students are treated to a graduation ceremony video, an on-line yearbook and a certificate of completion. HSA has a small group of followers who seem to enjoy the intellectual stimulation of this game.

This is the first time that HSA’s creator has ever been involved in such a pursuit. Participants have been forgiving and patient as her stories unfold and her skills improve.

The Homeschoolers Aggregate appears to be a secular forum for gifted homeschoolers to receive informal assignments in and to discuss Literary Theory, Poetry, Art, and Moral and Ethical Philosophy. Whether the Aggregate is an accredited institution, and whether it supports other subjects outside the liberal arts, is unknown.

Internet fans of Bree stumbled across the HSAOnline introductory and training videos hosted on YouTube. The source of the lonelyfans' speculation that Bree is/was a student of the Homeschoolers Aggregate is unknown, but several participants of the Tribute to Lonelygirl15 Phorum flocked to register in a new session to be administered by HSAOnline's strict but supportive educator, Ms. Kelly, who continually exhorts the students to "Study up!"

Ms. Kelly and the HSAOnline administrators seem very solicitous regarding the online privacy of their student families. HSAOnline appears to be recovering from some sort of major recent hack, based on some oblique comments from Ms. Kelly.
