'''Lucy''' is a high-ranking member of [[the Order]], who is almost always seen wearing a black suit and Gucci [[sunglasses]]. She was first assigned to Bree as her "[[My Helper|helper]]" as Bree prepared for [[the Ceremony (ritual)|the Ceremony]]. Bree said that she enjoyed having a female friend who understood the pressures of preparing for the Ceremony. However, Lucy raised the suspicions of [[Daniel]], who [[Who Is This?|followed]] [[Where Are They Going?|her]], much to the [[Daniel Crossed The Line|upset]] of Bree.

Bree allegedly [[The Ceremony|went through]] with the Ceremony, and [[I Completed The Ceremony|said that]] Lucy was a great help, standing beside her and holding her hand. However, Daniel remained suspicious of Lucy and the Ceremony, and [[Following The Helper|broke into her]] [[Lucy's apartment|apartment complex]] to learn more about her. While he was there, he discovered pictures of himself and Bree on her computer, as well as mysterious [[Lucy's apartment#Google Maps locations|Google maps]], leaving Daniel to feel creeped and stalked. Bree eventually realized that Lucy was not as she seemed and admitted that the Ceremony she had completed was [[I Lied To Daniel|a fake]]. She was no longer comfortable with the [[I Listened To Daniel|lack of information]] provided to her regarding her duties for the Ceremony, and decided to [[I Talked To My Parents|ask her parents]] to get her out of her Ceremonial obligations.

[[Bree's parents]] agreed to get her out of the Ceremony, and asked [[Deacon|the Deacons]] to release her from her obligation. The talk did not [[Life's Not Fair|go very well]], though. Bree's parents ended up getting scared, and asked Bree to [[Still At Daniel's|spend the night at Daniel's]] while they sorted things out. Bree did just that, but became worried when her parents did not [[Where Are My Parents?|return her calls]]. She decided to sneak back to her house, only to find Lucy and a Deacon leading her parents away.

From this point on, Lucy is only seen sporadically, mostly during times when the Order makes an offensive move against Bree or her [[BDJ|friends]]. She is seen in the video [[The Unthinkable Happened]], in which Bree's father is murdered. Lucy was also present when Jonas's [[Alex|Aunt Alex]] left to join the Order in [[Mexico]]. She came down to Texas, as well, to retrieve [[What the F*@k???|Jules, and unexpectedly Bree]], after Jules alerted the Order of their location.

Lucy [[Lonelygirl15 Season Finale 8 of 12 - 3 pm|continued her work]] for the Order as Bree went through with the true Ceremony, helping [[Lonelygirl15 Season Finale 8 of 12 - 3 pm|transfuse her blood]] into an [[Elder]].

Even after Bree's death, Lucy appears to be continuing her work for the Order. She was present in [[Arizona]], when the Order came to [[Shadow of Death|kidnap]] Jonas's [[trait positive]] sister, [[Emma]] (but failed).

==Etymology==
Some fans have pointed out that the name Lucy is similar to Lucifer. Both names are derived from the Latin word ''lux'', meaning light. (The -fer of Lucifer comes from another Latin root which means to carry. Thus, the name Lucifer means "light carrier" or "light bearer".)

These are generally warnings, some of them nicer than others, that insiniuate that OpAPHID is connected to Bree's religion, and that [[Cassie]] and Daniel should watch their step carefully.

On November 21, 2006, [[The Creators]] [http://www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3152 announced] that OpAphid is a 100% fan-created [[Alternate Reality Game]], but they liked it so much that they contacted [[Glenn Rubenstein|its creator]] and decided to make it the official ARG of [[lonelygirl15]].
However, on April 12, 2007, [[The Creators]] [http://www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8664 announced] that due to a falling out with [[Glenn Rubenstein]], OpAphid would no longer be the official ARG.

==Recurrences of OpAphid videos==
OpAphid's videos are layered to say the least.
There is the surface message of the written and spoken text, the deeper meanings of the text, the text and audio that takes homework, backwards audio, and hieroglyphics.

OpAphid also uses a false ending which appears as if the video has ended and gone to the related video links, but then returns to the real video again before ending. Usually the only thing after the false ending, is OpAPHID's logo.

==Controversies==
Not everyone is a fan of OpAphid, however.
 
The answer (phone number) to the [[Set of Five]] puzzle was kept secret for the first few hours after it was solved (at the request of OpAphid). We are told it was done to maintain the experience for those who wished to solve the puzzle themselves and earn the "well done" first heard upon calling the phone number. This left a bad taste in the mouths of many, both new players who don't understand why people aren't giving out the answers and veterans who aren't used to a PM who locks down their game to quite this level.
 
OpAphid has since stated that if there are to be any other "grace periods" on revealing the solution to a future puzzle, they will be limited to a span of 2-4 hours. Recent puzzles have had no such restrictions.

==Gamejacking ==
OpAphid has taken credit for [[gamejacking]] Cassie's voice mailbox. Evidence in the video, [[Cassie Does Not R.I.P. (Rest In Peace)]] proves she had the passcode, and complete control of the mailbox.

Gemma also taught Bree a game called "Nut Kills Man", a fictional, allegedly British variation of "Rock, Paper, Scissors."

Fans speculate that Gemma's monologues about her life in London are [[Double talk|coded]] commentary/advice for Bree's situation. She has given Bree advice about her situation toward her religion. Gemma has said it's hard for her to live away from the community.

In [[Learning Egyptian]], Gemma claims that Bree's religion is not a [[Thelema|Thelemic religion]] at all but a secret society called [[the Order]].

The videos supposedly show [[Gemma's flat]].

==Revelations of Order Involvement==

(Part II)|Gemma? [Part II]]] revealed to fans that Gemma was in Southern California and that she was interacting with [[Lucy]]. The videos were taken to be a message that Gemma was affiliated with the Order and likely working against Bree's interests. Many fans were reluctant to believe that Gemma had been a part of the Order all along, and wondered whether the Order had caught her sometime after the [[Scared To Go Home]] video. If that was the case, then some of Gemma's earlier advice might have been in good faith.

However, Tachyon's [[Gemma? (Part III)|Gemma? [Part III]]] showed that the location of Scared To Go Home was actually Southern California. In this video, Gemma is also filmed at a payphone saying "Are you sure the 'D' in APHID is not an option?" Clearly, Gemma was even more deeply involved than previously thought, although it is unclear whom it is that she is working with. From what was shown of her phone conversation, it seems she works with [[OpAphid]]. Whether OpAphid is the Order or a part of it is still unknown. The Tachyon videos were very damaging to Gemma's credibility. All the information and advice that came from Gemma is suspect, as it is very possible that she was working with OpAphid since she first started posting videos.

On January 8th, 2007, Tachyon and [[Brother]] jacked Gemma's YouTube account, adding slightly altered versions of Tachyon and Brother's five Gemma videos, and changing the profile to

==Death==
In the video [[Gemma (Part V)]], it appears that [[Brother]] aims a gun at Gemma, possibly in an attempt to kill her. Her death appears to be confirmed in the OpAphid video [[The Ends Justify The Means]], where a message in braille appears that angrams to "RIP Gemma." Like [[Bree's parents#father|Bree's dad]], her death appears to have taken place on Dec. 31st, 2006.

At an ARG-fest in Texas, the Creators were asked about whether or not Gemma was really dead. The answer made a reference to how she was in "Brother's crosshairs" and how that wouldn't be a nice place to be and went on to say that she is "gone". They didn't rule out her coming back one day but they seemed to conclusively state that for now we have seen the end of Gemma.

==Etymology==
The English name ''Gemma'' comes from the Italian name Gemma, which derives from Latin ''gemma'', meaning "jewel."

Gemma is also one of two names for the star Alpha Coronae Borealis (also known as Alphecca). Its name Gemma derives from the star's central placement in the constellation Corona Borealis (the Northern Crown). This connection raises possible links to Bree's fascination with astronomy and to the connections between Bree's religion and astrology (see [[Denderah]]).

About Location pages for KM... we may want to wait a bit before we decide how to do this because at this rate they'll be filming all over London. So we could end up with:
*By City - "Images of London."
*By Postcode - "Images of EC1", "Images of W1" etc. (London postcodes that UK people will easily understand and can be explained to others - EC1 = East Central 1, W1 = West 1 etc.) Advantage = exact with no discussion required.
*By London Area Name - "Images of Spitalfields", "Images of Soho" etc. (these are the names of small areas of London). Advantage = friendly names rather than impersonal postcodes but there are grey areas as it were on deciding where one area starts and another ends.
*By Street Name - "Images of Brushfield Street", "Images of Carnaby Street" etc. This could become a problem given the number of streets that will be filmed upon.
*All of the above so you can browse images however you like. Disadvantage = lot of work for every image.

== Re-Organization Day ==

Okay, this conversation has been going on for a while, and now I'm starting to agree with it. We need to find a way to separate KateModern and LG15. The answer: change everything from [[Characters]] to KM:Characters and LG:Characters. Sounds easy, right? Wrong-o. There has to be an easier way to do it. There needs to be some idea that we can do and devote a day to changing links and reorganizing the entire LGPedia. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but we gotta do something... fast. Before, when the spamming took the form of external links, we were able to filter those by requiring verification when an external link was added. The only solution I can think of for this problem is to require something similar for every edit that is made. The obvious downside is that it could become a huge hassle for people trying to edit normally. But maybe there's a creative solution that hasn't occurred to me. I don't usually make comments on pages like this, but I thought I'd point a few things out. 
-In the last day, there have been 68 edits by anonymous users. 55 of those edits were made by IPs currently banned for being a vandal. 
-5 of those remaining 13 were reverted. 
 
As far as edits go that actually "improved" this wiki... 
-2 were people reverting poor edits (one was me!). 
-There was an edit that corrected who posted clues to Emma's code. 
-One changed a period to a question mark. 
-Three edits were right after each other, and probably could've just been one. 
-There was an edit to theories about Purple Monkey, which is a funny section.

:Ricket makes a good point. Surely Registering for an account can't be that big of a deal? I see a lot more benefits than, er, non-benefits, from requiring a username to make edits. From what I've seen, of the dozens of spammers/vandals banned, only one or two were registered users. But seeing as so many people are against it, maybe we could require some question to be answered? (I don't mean 1+4=?, I mean Basic things that anyone who has ever seen the show would know: "The 'p' in "P. Monkey" stands for..." "The lonelygirl15 is _____'s account", stuff like that? ::Erm, no. Maybe ''that'' would be a hassle. I mean, ''that'' will discourage even more users from editing. (Laziness factor) I've been up until 5 in the morning on LG15 ('cause I have no life) and about more than 90% of the vandalisms that occur during that time is from non-registered people. I've only seen one registered user vandalize and one non-registered person actually contribute to the LGPedia. I do understand that we are trying to include everyone, and that that's what a wiki is all about, but you gotta decide which is th lesser evil: Cutting out non-registered people out and prevent vandalism, or allow everyone to participate even if that includes vandalism. I doubt that this xwestsidex fellow isn't gonna stop any time soon. And who knows? Maybe other people who aren't xwestsidex will vandalize under that alias, just for the fun of vandalizing. Then the problem will ''never'' go away. I don't think, in my opinion, it's worth it. Just wondering, why were my KateModern Production and Sophie Recap videos deleted? The pages, I mean. The KateModern Production videos are very much a part of KM and the Sophie Recap videos were posted on the official KateModernLG15 YouTube account, as well as Sophie's own Bebo. And Sophie is just as much official as Nikki B is on LG. So, why were they deleted? :Looking at the [[Special:Log/Delete|deletion log]], [[User:Zoey|Zoey]] put "see [[Talk:Portal:KateModern]]" (I added the link) as the reason for the deletion. I looked there and there seems to be part of an explanation for why the videos shouldn't be included in the official list, but I'm not sure why they can't have pages. Back in the [[List of New Girl Candidates|new ceremony girl]] phase, there were a lot of videos that got pages because they were related to the lonelygirl15 story. Unless there's an explanation somewhere that I'm missing, I'm for restoring the video pages.
