==Notes==
*While Jonas follows the Watcher as he searches through the buildings, several things come into focus. The first is a picture of what appears to be a church with some sort of demonic creature hovering over it. The second is the ceiling covered in sheet music for "Wisteria." The final is a wall that reads, "Here is why Behaviorism is most often assaulted in debate."
* In [[Proceed with Caution]] (July 23, 2007), [[Alex]] claimed that Watchers are members of the [[Hymn of One]] "and they don't know anything about the Order, its intentions, its makeup; they don't even know the Order exists." Apparently, that is not true of every [[Watcher]].

The '''Shadows''' are members of [[the Order]] who serve as bodyguards for the [[Elders]].

==Description==
According to Alex in the video, [[Proceed with Caution]], Shadow members are physically augmented by a variety of pharmaceuticals; modafinil, anabolic steroids, and amphetamines. They don't need to sleep and they're stronger and faster than the average person. Because of this they can not live past the age of 30. Shadow members can be distinguished from other people by the omicron tattoo on their forearm. In the center of the omicron lies an upside down tau. ==Las Vegas==
Even though they primarily serve as bodyguards to the Elders, this branch of the Order was also responsible for the [[Subjects Apprehended|capture of Bree, Daniel, and Jonas]] during their travels in Las Vegas, Nevada, in late March 2006.

Shadow members are apparently at odds with the [[Watchers]], another branch of the Order, for it was a Watcher that rescued [[BDJ]] and [[Communication Terminated|eliminated]] a Shadow member.

==Later On==
After first being mentioned by Alex, the main characters soon have their lab trashed in [[They Broke In!!!]]. Fans (as well as [[Taylor]]) speculate a Shadow did this.

==Season One Finale==
In hour 8 of the [[12 in 12]] [[Season One Finale]], a Shadow stabs Jonas in the stomach, before being stabbed by Daniel. Whilst it is unknown if the Shadow survived or not, it is probable that he died due to lack of medical attention.

== Jonas' Parents ==
Jonas [[Home Invasion|runs into the Shadows]] at their most violent while visiting his parents.
