It's every time they say "follow your happiness' theres a word directly after, and then you put all those words together and it makes the message. For example, lets say the message is "WHERE ARE WE". It would look something like this:

Follow your happiness, '''where''' there is light and solitude. The people who help you follow your happiness '''are''' kind. If you try to follow your happiness, '''we''' can do this together.

Each of the clue words come directly after the line "Follow Your Happiness".

We don't know where the Bunker was, but I think that is what Jonas was referring to when he said he drove 1500 miles. Now I'm guessing they're back at his house, so that would have been a little longer drive, but I'm pretty sure he is referring to the trip down there from the Bunker.
