Change in target demographic?

There has always been what seemed a fair mix in age groups of fans for this...and the story seemed to cater to the older than 15 year olds considering what all has happened. I couldn't help but notice a more bubble gummy feel lately. Has your demographic changed? It is something some of us might like to know now...

Feel like you're getting older everyday, don't you Kas? I know, I've been there too.

I agree with you Kas. The demographic does seem to be shifting, and I can't say I'm pleased with that.

Yes, feeling old at 25 is not something I expected to happen.
I realize the TAAG is comprised of teens...but teens being chased by brutal murders...
immature "emo" girls pulling pranks? I guess it offers a contrast to the life BDJ have been living for past several months...

I thought the dynamic improved in these most recent two vids. Before that, it felt like my head was constantly being beat against a brick wall - not that I was doing it, mind you: That it was being done to me.
The fresh air of Taylor and Sarah was a necessity.

I'm not complaining...and it's not about the dynamics...just a question on if they are shifting their focus to a younger demographic as it seems they are.

On the other hand, I feel younger any time I see Sarah. I swear officer!

I think the creators have said before that they try to appeal to many different demographics with the videos. I personally wouldn't worry about them only targetting a younger audience.

It's not that I'm worried...it's what seems to be happening and it's just an honest question. Honestly, if they do want to target a younger audience I'd hope they wait until a new venture. But, that's for the creators to decide and answer...

I think that Sarah (she's the youngest sister right?) brought a very realistic teen element to the story. Up until her, I never thought the trio sounded like a normal teen group. Now Sarah is clear on expressing her focus of boys and sexual innuendo. This just hit me as realistic. I appreciated it.
But I hope the story doesn't get, as you say, "bubble gum".

Oh. Hm. I haven't gotten that feeling myself. I've found the writing in these last two vids to just be plain sharper.

Bree was never a normal teen and the boys are a little older...I see what you are saying...but maybe my age is what makes me see these silly antics and such which is out of Series Character (does that make sense?) as a bit more Degrassi than what it has been up until now. Which is a good reason in my eyes to ask the simple question for the Creators to answer if they are making this so that younger viewers identify and enjoy it more, now.
