i'm not so sure if crazy 'emo' chick is the appropriate title for sarah. she's certainly crazy, but there doesn't seem to be anything emo about her. she seems to be WAY too playful and extroverted.

I don't think shes that emo. She seems like a normal kid to me.

Didn't we see her collage in one of Taylor's videos? That seemed pretty emo. As does her myspace page, if that's official...

Ahhhh good point BK. For some reason I blanked all of that out. Yeah that stuff was definitely emo. But in the video, she just seemed...not emo.

Heh...well, I hate the whole stereotype of emo. But I suspect we're supposed to think of her as the wild emo chick in contrast to Taylor's sports-loving all-American girl! I hope we see Taylor on camera next vid!

I like Taylor. I think she'll be a good character. I know not everyone's sold on her, but the consensus seems to be that she'll be a better recurring character than Jules!

well I think the writers are trying to hard to appeal to the highschool obsession with Emo's. I mean look at Jules last video when she goes "EMOOOO!"

Emo isnt a good thing anymore... It pretty much hasnt been since "the emo song" came out. If they use that song in their background I think I would die. XD

Well on camera Sarah wasnt too Emo, but then again a lot of Emo's crave attention and can be crazywild when it comes to a camera.

In defense of Sarah as "emo":
-Short skirt with black tights (who does that?)
-"Life is suffering."
-"I talk to God, but the sky is empty."
-Gun as joke.

Their respective myspace pages are exercises in teenage stereotypes. And yeah, Taylor's page is just obnoxious. I mean, I realize she's not a real girl, but what normal teenager has no friends in their Top 8? It's like the creators have never met a real teenage girl before. ::sigh::

what is it? a mix of punky and moody? isn't that standard fare for a 16 year old?

You know what, Im not 100% sure, but I think its rather similar to Goth seeing as that word has all but died since the emo thing...

or someone over emotional is another way ive heard it used...

im going with its a substitute for Goth, but with more of a pop punk spin, and not a marilyn manson spin...
