but obviously they do remember the motelroom and them sitting/lying in the bathroom

well they probably remember being there, but they don't remember what happened.

The video description for "What Happened To Us???" says that Jonas has been having flashbacks.

The other thing is, they may have remembered something under hypnosis that they wouldn't put in a public video (We all remember the look Jonas gave the camera when he told Daniel that all he remembered was "last Thursday night", right?).

I'm confused as to why they're trying to remember their kidnappers face anyway. He was shot.

Not necessarily. Someone was shot. It is yet to be determined if it was their kidnapper or a lackey.

I mean, in the video we see Daniel waking Jonas. Then the obviously posted Jonas climbing from the bathtub.

I think it's most likely that the drugs were wearing down because the kiddnapper was either out, or dealing so intensely with Bree that he forgot to apply another dose, and they shook it off (none too well)) and made their shambling way out of the room, somehow managing to collect Bree along the way.

Edit: They probably ganged up on the guy and snagged Bree. XD

no. It has been established that they woke up when they heard the gunshot.

Ohhh yes...Sorry.

I was thinking backwards, and I kept thinking they were awake because their bodies were moving. So they probably still were drugged up when they stumbled from the bathroom...kind of like being drunk, then suddenly being shocked sober.

I don't drink, but it reminds me of when I only remember one image from a dream that I know had a great narrative. I guess memory loss from drinking and drugs must be similar. So just because Jonas remembers sleeping in a bathtub doesn't mean he remembers anything else.

Besides, out and saying just out of the blue "I remember sleeping in a bathtub." And having nothing else to say would be just...boring. If it were me I wouldn't have said it at all unless I remembered something else too. Just by itself it seems unimportant.

Sort of like saying "I remember I still had pants on."

Well, actually, Daniel seemed to imply that his memory goes back to slightly before the gunshot (because he knew that he and Jonas were running, that Bree was ahead of them, and that he and Jonas dropped to the ground when they heard the gunshot). But, yeah, he can remember to around that point.
