It sounds like Bree, DB, and Jonas are experiencing something called state-dependent recall.
Basically one is more likely to be able to recall something you experienced while in a certain state of mind, when one is in that state of mind again.
This works for alcohol, emotions, drugs... Even drugs like caffiene.
So Sodium Diapenethol is probably dangerous... But if you guys are REALLY serious about getting your memories of that time back... You may want to try and get your hands on some...
Just a thought.

It's true that's a well researched theory but... not worth the risk I reckon

I said IF they were that serious about it.
I'm not recomending it, just telling him that if it is state dependent recall and they are that desperate, that is what they could do.

So what state-dependent recall would espouse, is that you if you get drunk again, you will remember what you don't remember from your previous drunk blackout?

It's the fact you use the word, 'serious,' that makes it sound like if they don't take drugs then they're not trying hard enough. It's like, 'If you were really serious about our relationship then you'd do such-and-such.'
I therefore counter - it's because they're serious about taking down the order that they shouldn't take endanger their lives by taking drugs.

Honestly? They just need to let sleeping dogs lie. Some things are better left in the shadows, and they may find in hindsight that they really don't want to remember.

Ahh, words of wisdom from Sarah, who knows from experience.

Juli, you do my heart good.
Though I must admit, long ago I tried some of the same stuff the boys are trying now. Obviously it didn't work. I STILL feel sheepish about that, and I did that back when I was 15 and thought I knew everything.

Please do not go through with this, Daniel, it's idiotic to put yourself in the kind of danger that this drug put you in voluntarily. You guys are lucky you survived it the first time, it'd be just stupid to push your luck again, this time of your own free will no less.

Clara, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that, DB is smart enough not to do this.
Love ya, Beastie!
