I don't remember hearing if Gemma was a Glenn-creation or not, so if she wasn't, couldn't they be all like, "TA DA! I'M NOT DEAD!" with her or something?

Even with as potentially dumb as that would be, I could still see something like that happening. Gemma was quite the popular character.

Gemma is not a Glenn creation.
But I do think she's dead. But maybe she'll come back.. never know

I don't think they could bring her back.
They may have their flaws at writing....but I don't think they are THAT dumb.

It was her pronunciation of "home" that got ripped to pieces in the forums (especially by those who said she was faking her accent)

Gemma was never confirmed dead by the creators. Only by OpAphid, in her YouTube profile, so that's a little sketchy, if you ask me, the way things have shaken out. And we all know Brother had a crush on Gemma, and couldn't find the any key.

So as far as I can see, there's no reason Gemma couldn't make a comeback.

I hope she does. I miss her. I think she'd be a nice addition to the current storyline. I'd love to see her join the TAAG in the bunker, or possibly show up inside the order, reporting to us what's happening with Alex.

from what I can rememeber, Jackie (the actress who played Gemma) said she had to concentrate on school for awhile but that she would come back ...who knows if she was just saying that though

I'm pretty sure they left it ambiguous as to whether or not she's dead so that they would have the option to bring her back if there's an opportunity. Seems like it was Jackie's choice and the c's were leaving a door open for her. It's a shame too because I liked the character.

No, I don't think it's positively clear that she died or that it would be poor writing to bring her back. The whole bit about "running into an x" seemed as much like a threat as an explaination. Is there something else that I missed? I liked her as much as Alex if not more. . . and definitely better than new girl.

He could find any key just fine (he was playing stupid to trick OpAPHID), but, yes, it's possible that his affection for her allowed him to let her live.

So that we can have a Gemma that's not working for the Order and is giving advice that wouldn't lure BDJ into a trap? I'd be willing to see that.
