I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but I think it would be neat to have a birthday thread where everyone who's birthday is in that particular month could have it listed there if they wanted it to be. That way, we could all send each other birthday greetings.

I'm not sure how much work this would require, though. Can it be done automatically somehow? Or have a list by people's b-day months and dates that could just be copied and pasted every month?

I sometimes miss new threads. This is a good idea. I don't know how you could automate it though? Maybe just have someone start a "(Insert Month here) Birthday Thread!" and everyone with birthdays in that month can post.

I like the idea!

In a forum I used to be on we just had a thread called 'The Birthday Thread'

The top post was 'reply with your birthday' and then everyone replied to that post with their birthday's. Then the girl who made the top post updated it every tiem someone replied (though I didnt envy her job) so all the birthdays were in one post that looked a bit like..

January:
13th - Januarygirl

February:
7th - nowherepixie
8th - Feruaryboy

March:
27 - Marchperson

etcetc

(don't you just love my inventive screen names for people?

)

Juli, I think this is a absolutely, totally, and completely WONDERFUL idea - mostly because I have always thought my own birthday (November 9th) should be a national holiday...

I'm just curious cuz you posted twice and didn't list your own birthday yet!
