Denderah and the Zodiac

I don't know much about astrology, but all references to Denderah make at least some mention of the Denderah Zodiac. I didn't see any discussion of signs. I wonder if the zodiac and Bree's sign (Scorpio according to her MySpace page) makes any difference?
And in reference to the Pluto video, apparently Pluto rules Scorpio. From
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/learn-as ... corpio.php:
Astrologers have assigned Pluto's rulership to Scorpio.
Sexual matters are the main manifestation of Pluto in Scorpio.
Pluto in Scorpio also had a dramatic impact on religion.
I just found that interesting...

There is a "Denderah Zodiac" as in description of the sky on the ceiling of the Temple of Hathor in Denderah - this is not exacatly an astrological zodiac. see:

"The first appearance in Egypt of our own 12 zodiacal constellations comes from the so-called Zodiac of Denderah." This is what the typical zodiac we think of comes from - zodiacs such as this which depict the heavens.

Look at this ... it's the Myspace horoscope entry for
Scorpio (Bree's star sign) for September 23, 2006:
Your life seems to be defined now by hidden forces, rather than by your own self. Your needs come second to the demands of those around you. This may be fine for a short while, but it's not a great strategy for living. It may be difficult for you to understand exactly how you got yourself into this position, but it is your increased self-awareness that will ultimately give you more choices.

I'm ill today and have neither the time nor mental capacity to write much about this topic. However, if any of you guys are going to start examining the Zodiac of Denderah in any great detail, you may want to remember what Bree said about the stars no longer being as bright.
Things change with time, including the positions of stars and even our polestars.
This is due to what wikipedia refers to as the precession of the equinoxes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precession ... _equinoxes
Because of this, Polaris was not the polestar during the time when the temple at Denderah was at its height. Thuban, a star in the constellation Draco, was the polestar at that time.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thuban
It's been years since I studied astronomy and as many since I studied astrology, but I'm certain that this would also dramatically shift the dates associated with any ruling constellation in a 5,000 year old Zodiac. The complete precession of the stars takes approximately 25,000 years.
Just thought that might be something to further someone's theory.

very interesting. Anyone find anything else regarding the sign Scorpio and the Zodiac of Denderah? Her birthday is this week, by the way.
