Ok from this point in "Lying Bastards" we get to see more of Alex. She was talking to someone on the phone, seeming upset and talking about freewill and Jonas being her nephew. She lowered her head some people thought she smiled, some though she was crying... my opinion, you can't really tell if someone is playing an act or if if their really upset unless you see their eyes.

So I'm interested to know where you guys think Alex loyalty lies from this point

I think you're right about how you can only tell how upset they feel by the look in their eyes. Maybe that's why she ended up hiding them at the end of the video.

I personally think that maybe she's having some inner conflicts about the Order and Jonas. I'm not sure what it is, but something's obviously making it so that she'll react how she's reacting now.

I'm hoping the first two poll options won't happen. x.x

I will say this though.... I like how Jonas and Bree went off, and I'm totally hooked onto them hooking up theory.... but THEY CANNOT SEPARATE! WHAT IN THE HELL ARE THEY THINKING?

I really want to see those two together. But I have an odd feeling that something large and ugly will come by and make some horrible twist in the story. Like them being twins or something. Blaaaaaaargh.

And that was a bad idea for them to seperate like that~ So soon after the whole Vegas incident too. Bad bad bad. ><

Hopefully the next one will give us some insight on what Alex is going to do though. It's been getting really restless lately, especially with Vegas and all.

I think that Alex is part of the Order but she feels like helping them because Jonas is her nephew and Daniel is well, Daniel.

Alex had no problem turning in her other family members to the order. Why would she feel different about Jonas?

I think whats happening with Alex is that she is seeing how much heart Jonas has for these two kids. And she sees that the order actually meant for her in Jonas. Now that she is seeing what the order is really capable of, and witnessing the kidnapping and deaths of people jsut because of her nephew and his friends, she is wondering how far the order will go to get this stranger (Bree). She is scared that the next person that'll end up dead, maybe be Jonas, since he is the one aiding her in getting away (funding the trips and the hiding spots). She realizes that once Jonas is out of the picture, the Bree has no wheres to turn to (or at least seems like it), and she believes the order realizes that too. She is scared for the safety of Jonas.

I agree Kelly. I went for the "Isn't liking how things are going and is suddenly having a change of heart? (going against Order)" option too.

But I also think that she has a lot of loyalty left for the Order, I can't rule out that she would do a double-cross on the TAAG if she could guarantee (I can never spell that word) Jonus's safety.

Interesting interesting stuff coming methinks.

And yeah, how can they keep seperating? Hello? That's how they nabbed you last time guys!

I know I have said this in other threads, but I'm really disappointed by the whole Alex having a change of heart thing. She is all cold hearted and teasing Jonas about his parents being alive and not remembering him and now she's boohooing over free will not being completely upheld? Bah I say!

I really liked having a cold hearted villain that we "knew". Lucy we have just seen a few times, but we sort of got to know Alex so it made her being a villain have more weight. For me, anyways. So, yes I am hoping she is just trying to bait them and she was smart enough to pick up on the fact that they have been tailing her.

I voted for what I hope is happening...she's having a change of heart. I mean, that's her nephew. If anyone ever touched my nephew I'd snap their neck. lol.

I still think she is a decoy... I hope i'm wrong.

i think she's definitely evil. remember how mean she was in that last video?? you can't have a change of heart if you don't have a heart. and we might not know that she turned in jonas' parents or whatever, but we do know she had a ton of information on them and the people with whom they associated...which doesn't bode well for her.
i like having a villian we know too.

I voted that she had a change of heart, but I don't really think we can know what she's feeling until we know her role in the Order. We know that she has probably betrayed other members of her family by giving them over to the Order, but why doesn't she have any qualms about this? I agree that Alex has recently realized that the Order is going too far, and that the change of heart occurred because of the most recent kidnapping. It wouldn't surprise me if she thinks that at the worst the Order excommunicates and jails dissidents and traitors; she probably opposes torture, as do probably many other members of the Order. Yes, she despises Jonas' parents, but that's probably because they actively betrayed the Order by trying to expose it to the outside world. Jonas hasn't yet done anything like that. So, I doubt that she will help Jonas, Bree and Daniel destroy the Order, but she might try to help them understand the Order so she can bring them back into the fold before they truly become traitors.
