hmmm I think GAIM has a thing to connect you to IRC... I might be wrong I haven't used it in forever...

or try xchat (i think it's called) or chatzilla (I've never used these two before but I've heard of other people using them on other servers)

or there's java (I think lum knows how to use that and get there, I don't)

or ummm try the firefox add on

I dunno if they all would be blocked or what or why mIRC would be blocked. Sorry.

I tried the Java applet - no dice. My university doesn't have enough bandwidth for all of the people with internet access, so they "fix" the problem by cutting off data from certain sources. I'll talk with someone here who's more tech-minded than myself and see if they can find a fix, but I'm not holding my breath.

Anyway, let's not diverge too much from the original point of this thread. Luminous, you have a heck of a knack for these vidoes! The stuff that you did zooming into the still images was really neat.
