Jonas and his jealousy

Hello, I've been an LG fan for 3 months and have been following this forum almost as long.

I joined the forum just to make a point that I couldn't keep to myself any more :?

I've never been suspicious of Jonas, but his extreme jealousy regarding "Aunt" Alex and Daniel makes me think that he's lying about their familial relationship, and perhaps about other things as well. I have **12** nieces and nephews, many of them around Daniel and Jonas' age, and I can't imagine any of them getting as worked up as Jonas is about a friend of theirs having a crush on me (like that would happen!)

Seriously--for the first time this has made me suspicious of the part Jonas is playing. It might answer some other questions as well: why didn't Jonas mention his aunt before? who was he calling on the cell phone on the way up to the cabin? What was up with that whole party scene in the current video?

For those of you who have read the Sherlock Holmes story The Hound of the Baskervilles, there's a plot twist in that similar to what I'm suggesting. I don't want to give the Hound plot away to those who haven't read it yet, but PM me if you want to know or can't remember.

If a friend of mine relentlessly hit on someone in my family after I politely asked them not to...I'd probably be pretty angry, too...especially if they might...do things...

However, I'm not saying I trust Jonas. I am still on the fence...toooo many unanswered questions about him

It could be that Jonas knows his aunt is Order, and went there looking for answers about his parent's deaths. Perhaps that is why he doesn't want Daniel with her...he knows what she is (or was). This would especially apply to a drunk Daniel, who would be very easily taken advantage of and pumped for information (or used in some other way, like the kidnapping).

Why would he bring them to his aunt's house if he knew she was in the Order? Are you implying that he is evil, or that he is a double agent; working for the Order but actually on d&b's side?

To clarify my top post, I'm suggesting that Jonas is lying about Alex being his aunt, and that Alex and he have a romantic relationship of some type rather than being relatives.

That is one of the possibilities. The other is that he didn't want to leave them alone at the cabin, and his need to know about his parents disappearance outweighed anything else at that time.

And suze, I don't know if they are aunt and nephew, but I don't think they have a romantic relationship.

Actually, I think it would be interesting if they were both in the Order, and involved that way. Just my opinion.

Maybe, maybe not 8) I just can't get the parallels to a certain Sherlock Holmes story out of my mind, and the possibility that Alex is bait, in a sense, for Daniel. If so, he's certainly turning out to be an easy catch!

Oh, well, back to folding the laundry . . . !

Well, I didn't mean to just shoot you down like that...I mean, it is a possibility. I just don't THINK that is what is happening.

Then, of course, I've never read "The Hound of the Baskervilles". XD

No, I didn't feel shot down. I just hate folding laundry! (and I'm still here on the couch, obvs)

You would like H of the Bs, I think.

While I think that suspicions about Jonas and Alex's relationship may be valid, I personally believe that Jonas's anger towards Daniel is to be expected.

I've had friends hit on my cousin before, and a) it makes things incredibly awkward, and b) It just creeps me out.

It's like, dude, don't start flirting with her, because she's my cousin! That's so weird! I once dated my best friend's older brother, and let me tell you...that was the most awkward thing ever.

Sorry if that whole post sounded a little immature, but I'm really tired right now and don't want to try to talk in coherent sentences.

Basically, to sum it all up: I think Jonas's reaction is perfectly normal, and to be expected.

I understand that this is a common reaction, but I've never understood why people have it.

I'm sure that's what you meant by "some other way." I'm suuure.

i agree with a lot of what is said here. i don't buy that Alex is a "fashion designer" or that the party was a "fashion party." i'm also not sure that i believe alex and jonas are really aunt and nephew.
