So in the newest video Daniel refers to himself as "DB", something of which I don't think I've heard him do before (although I could be wrong). But it started me thinking. He calls himself "Danni B" in the video 'Miss Me'. Could this be a sign of regression into the whole brainwashed thing, possibly?

Obviously I'd be totally off if he refers to himself as "DB" a lot and I've just never really paid attention, but I thought it might be noteworthy.

There is no way OpAphid missed an opportunity like having Daniel for over a week without using it to their advantage. And spin art? Hello???

I've never stopped believing the Daniel was programmed or brainwashed in some kind of way; the only question was when he would be triggered, and what they were going to have him do. Now, it seems, he has been triggered.

I totally think he is still brainwashed and he's plotting something. Or maybe, Bree is the "bad guy" and the order is really just after "DB". I know, it's unlikely, but yeah.

I definately think something has triggered it. Maybe the symbol or something on those papers. Initials, letter combos, a photo of Jonas' aunt (I half wonder if she'll end up being someone we've seen).

could be wrong but...I don't think he's brainwashed. i just think he's happy about Jonas's aunt. He needs some action after Bree rejected him. About the DB thing, it's kinda weird that he called himself that. It could mean something or...nothing?? IDK.

You know, the Order may even have set the brainwashing/programming up realizing there was a chance the Tachyon would form a plan to rescue Daniel and, at the same time, keep Bree out of their clutches. If this is the case, they could have had the brainwashing as a back-up plan. If they didn't get Bree at the exchange, then they increased their chances of getting her later on down the line by brainwashing Daniel; not only could he be programmed to influence Bree in the way they wanted, but he would be an additional set of eyes on her; a brainwashed "Watcher", if you get my drift.

It does seem strange that he called himself that when we have NEVER heard it before. I can't think of anyone else referring to themselves by their initials? Why didn't he just say "what are they going to do without me"? Instead he said DB...which definately reminded me of Danny B.

I can see how that would make people think things...but we tend to shorten his name to DB quite a bit. Maybe since he's talking to us, he threw in that. Dunno...

Thats true..he could be directly speaking to us here on the forums. We do abbreviate his name to DB a lot.

Daniel just seems to be the one to relate to US and mention things we say here. I could be totally wrong, though, and am willing to accept that.

I like the brainwashing trigger idea, but I'm gearig more so on Kas's suggestion.
He seems to connect with us easier, so he uses the common names we give him.
On top of that, he seems to be happy, and in a good place. So it may just be a cheerful acknowledgement to the new feeling he is having.

I hope not. I mean, so many bad things have happened to them and they've been litteraly running around. I just wish they'd slow it down a little tiny bit and have something go right for a change. Ya know?

He could have been drinking. And that's way he's kinda like laid-back-happy as in the 'miss me' vid
