So Jonas Broke Into His Aunts House

Interesting. Surprised no one else brought this up.
How much family does Jonas have that lives around him? (How many more houses will the trio skip to)
And she's in Italy he said? *reminds me of how Tach likes to travel*
Also, he acted like it would be nothing to break in...maybe its because he used to spend a lot of time there...? If he did, why would he live on his own in a big house---with no mention of his family before?
And! If we are to assume his mom and dad were somehow connected to the Order..would his Aunt be too?

Are we sure its his aunt and not his "aunt"? You know how Tachy calls them "Mom and Dad" and "Brother".
I dunno it didn't look like he really broke in to me. Like he just went in the backdoor without having to break in. Like he's been there a lot.
Could this aunt be someone he was calling on his cell phone during that time at the cabin? How else would he know she is away unless he's been calling her?
Or is that story made up and this is a secret meeting place for those who oppose the order?

Exactly what I was thinking. Jonas always made it sound like he was "all by himself"...in many ways. He never mentioned family before. How do we know this isn't just some kind of safehouse (if he is anti order) or if it some sort of trap (order).
It looked like to me too that he just went in the back door...which also leds you to ask,
if you went away on a vacation out of the country--would you leave your back door unlocked??

I'm going to go with this is an anti order safehouse and Jonas already had the key. He doesn't want that information disclosed to the order so he pretends to break into the back.
I don't really think he is part of the order. Though its too much a coincidence that Jonas' parents were part of an anti order group and Jonas didn't know anything about it, and helped Bree of his "own free will". He knew about Tachy's videos before anyone else. I believe he is part of the group, which is why Tachy trusted to stay at his house for a whole weekend.

I wish we knew for sure how long there was between the last two videos. How close was the cabin from his aunt's house?
It does seem strange that he was raised by the "help" if he had an aunt that close. She has to, assumably, be somewhat involved in his dealings if she has financial papers of his parents at her house (and he feels comfortable enough to walk into the house without permission).
Jonas talked about his parents traveling a lot, and now we find out that they were investigating the Order. Now his aunt is over seas...can we guess that maybe she is somehow involved as well?

Maybe his Aunt, was really an attorney of some sort..?
If they really were bloodrelated, I think Jonas would have seen her...or lived with her...especially after his parents died.
But if Jonas is anti-Order and is somehow in the same field as Tachyon, that would most certainly explain why she stayed at his 'house' when she did.

In my mind, Jonas being part of an Anti-Order group just seems to make more sense than anything else. I think that he grew up not really knowing what happened to his parents, but maybe when he was old enough someone told him or he figured it out on his own. Then he decided he wanted to fight against the order too, and did his part by helping Bree. Why else would Tachyon, who mentioned leaving a bowling alley when some random guy tried to get too close to her, stay at a complete strangers house for an entire weekend? It's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Right now, there is enough evidence to throw either way. I'm not convinced yet that he isn't in the Order, personally.

Haha you caught me. There really is evidence to go either way, but I honestly think that he's not part of the order. I like the idea of him working for a group that is Anti-Order!

Supposing Jonas is 19, and his parents have been missing 6 years, would put his age at apporox 12\13.. In Texas that is the age that you can place yourself with guidance of the court. He may have chose this for himself...

Hey good point! I'm not exactly sure how the laws are here in NY, but I know my parents had in their will what relatives I would live with in case something happened to them.
