Could Jonas be a cop?

Hi everyone!! First time poster, long time lurker. So, is it possible that Jonas could be some kind of undercover cop working to infiltrate the order? I mean so far we've seen diappearances, drugs (epogen), murder, kidnapping and all sorts of illegal activity. Maybe he saw Brees videos and saw a way to get close to the order and at the same time protect Bree so they set up Jonas to earn her confidence. The symbol could've been planted by DB I guess or possibly a part of Jonas's research. I mean he could've been collecting material on the order for some time. The room at his house that they weren't allowed in, his office/lab? What do you guys think?

It's possible, I guess. He seems a little green to me if he is a cop, though (especially with trying to walk up to a Watcher and punch him).
In any case, it's not possible that Daniel planted that symbol. Jonas has already acknowledged that it's always been there and that he doesn't know anything about it.
If he were a cop, though, why hasn't he told them yet? Especially after they tied him up and he didn't know if he was going to get killed or not.
EDIT: Welcome to the forum, by the way.

I agree with Lurker -- I think if Jonas was a cop, he would have said so by now.
I also agree with his welcoming you to the forum! Stick around -- we're glad to have you.

Right , right. That slipped my mind. But it would explain who hes talkin to on the phone, and where the moneys comin from. Maybe hes gotten so attached to DB and Bree and so aggravated with the order that when he saw that watcher he just temporarily lost it.
Maybe he knows the order had something to do with the disappearence of his parents and became a cop to exact revenge on them.
He cant tell them or he'll blow his cover, besides Brees made it very clear she doesn't want to go to the police and he cant afford to lose any trust with her. The symbol was a slip up and he ran away to collect his thoughts and figure out what to do next prolly called one of his FBI team to pick him up. Remember when he said said "this isn't reservoir dogs" in that movie the cop is tied up to a chair and totured.
Thx for the welcome!!

Ravensnow - I see your logic. That would be an interesting twist, wouldn't it?

He's too young, he's only about 19 and it takes a few years to go through training and all that special stuff.

Good point, Angel.

Maybe he's actually way older, and just looks young, like the one middle-aged guy who pretended to be 12.
Okay, really, I'm done with my bored/non-productive/impatient comments.
Maybe.

He could easily be 25-26, he could pretend to be younger, closer to Bree and DBs age group. They'd be more apt to trust him if he came off as one of their peers. When I was 17 my bf lied and said he was 20, I saw his license one day..he was 26.

Damn, girl.

Scary. On so many levels.

Welcome Raven!
I don't see Jonas as a cop....but I love the idea! A twist like that would be really cool.

Ravensnow27 Welcome to the forum!
I don't think Jonas is a cop. I don't have much to back it up, but I just can't see that happening

Well, now we know what Jonas was doing while he was gone. So he's clearly not a cop.

Welcome!!! we'll send over the welcome wagon asap!!!
i appreciate you theory, but he seems too amature to be one. Plus! Tachyon and Brother have this side of the story pretty covered.

Actually, it only takes a few weeks to get through training to
become a cop. It might take longer than that to get the experience and trust to be given a mission like this (unless they were really hard up for a young-looking guy), though.
But, as others have said, he could just look young.
Anyway, after this most recent video ("Proving Bree Wrong"), I'm thinking he's not a cop.
