I have a feeling that Bree's Dad is OpAphid...

Of course everyone has already seen OpAphids youtube account where it states "rumors of MY death have been greatly exsaggerated."

We have only "rumored" that Bree's dad is dead...

Has anyone else thought this?

A couple of quick observations.
1. OpAphid is the name of the organization, not the person - so I assume you mean "Oppy" as she's affectionately called by forum members (real name unknown).
2. "Oppy" (the person) has verified that she is, in fact, the person in her videos.

She could mean that rumours of Mr. Bree's or Gemma's death have NOT been exaggerated.

Yes, you were right, I did mean oppy. However I thought OpAphid was a person...

I think it's fine to call the woman in charge of the organization "OpAphid." Even Gemma referred to her as "Op," as though it were her name, and of course she signs all her e-mails "OpAphid." It's really the only name we have for her and the only that's been assigned to her (by herself and someone else).

I myself use "OpAphid" for the person and "OpAPHID" for the organization. I think it makes sense to do it that way.

To me, OpAphid is a group of members unified as under one name. So those emails could be from any member of OpAphid.

But in relation to this topic, I don't think Bree's 'Dad' was anything more than a pawn for the order...I think his purpose was for scientific study...nothing more.

but the person we refer to as opaphid is the person we talk to so very often.
Also, another tidbit about opaphid is that she is confirmed woman. The most logical theory that is related to this one is that Bree's Mother is in fact opaphid.

We have never seen anything of her mother. Her mother, and father, controled every aspect of Bree's life since birth.

Only makes since of a woman so in control, to control more than we thought!

If Bree's dad were Op, I don't think he'd would have told Bree things about the Order. Bree said that what her dad told her was "nothing positive" as far as the Order.

Good theory, though.

If it were her mother, wouldn't Bree and Daniel know that already? OpAphid said she's the woman in the Op videos.

As Kelly said, it's always the same person in the e-mail correspondence (a woman, the person in charge of OpAPHID, and specifically the woman from the OpAPHID videos).

i think lucy is opaphid. i kind of came to that conclusion after op kidnapped daniel and bree made the video in response saying she would do the ceremony--she specifically adressed lucy...i could check in lg pedia but i'm pretty sure she says something like, "did you hear that lucy? i'll do the ceremony." the only reason the theory doesn't work is that i don't think it is lucy in the op videos and op did say she was in the videos.

well that would be becasue the only person bree really had contact with about the ceremony was lucy.
Also, lucy was her helper/teacher when it came to the ceremony, so she has a more personal relationship with Lucy, then anyone else (other then her mother).

Bree's dad is way hot. But I think he abused her as a child, which is why she's the way she is now.
