You know it is possible he untied himself. They did take care to show that the kitchen full of sharp utensils is right next to the room that Jonas was in.

It might as well have been upstairs since the chair didn't move and he couldn't have gotten to them, though.

Plus, he was zip tied to the chair.

Hmm. I think that, if Jonas is with the order, he has a bunch of Nancy Drew commando tactics at his disposal. He could probably wiggle out, it looked like he was tied up with shoelaces(?), haha.

I thought Daniel loosened the ropes a little..

interesting notion, but the knives by themselves don't make a completle theory.

since we know danielbeast "loostened" him up a bit i think its safe to say that daneil probably just removed the zip ties. jonas then mannaged to hop the chair into the kitchen and pickup a knife and cut the ropes? its unlikely but perhaps jonas is a little houdini?

any clues in older episodes that point to jonas' houdini nature?

The ropes didn't look terribly tight. If DB got rid of the zip ties, I think our boxing friend could have wiggled his way free.
